Still Good!

I just saw the movie AGAIN and I still liked it! If for no other reason than I really like Robert Urich! The story is a bit sentimental, and there are times it is a little unbelievable, but, hey...it is a fictional story! If you don't care for Danielle Steel "stuff" then forget it, but if you generally like her other movies then you will probably like it. I don't really think there is much I want to say as far as the storyline goes w/out giving away too much, so I want to be very careful. Robert Urich plays a divorced lawyer with a daughter who falls in love with a woman who is married to a man who had a stroke 5 years earlier and whom she is still very much in love with. In spite of this fact, she finds herself falling in love with Alex (Urich). Her husband, to say the least, is an extraordinary man, which you will find.... Enough said, w/out saying too much. If you like Robert Urich, you should see it for that reason alone!

A "Feel Good" Movie

I liked this move probably because I really liked Robert Urich. We really lost a pretty good actor when he died, in real life that is. The girl wasn't very believable and kind of goofy, but I guess that was necessary to make a story out of this script at all. Darin McGavin over acted a little as usual. I'm really a sucker for these kind of "tear jerker" movies so that's why I rated it as a 7. Stacie Haiduk is really very pretty, but not a great actress. The movie was pretty unbelievable but I guess most of Steel's stories are anyway. This move is well worth watching if you want to watch something that you don't have to think very hard about. I must admit I've watched it about three times!!!

good emotional love triangle of "cheating wife" movie of 90s.

I watched alot "cheating wife" movies of 80s , 90s , This is KINDA first one where wife is not " BORED or sexually unsatisfied" . i mean most of these types of movies has almost same starting plot. " a bored and unsatisfied wife" goes for some passion n action.

But this movie is about feelings , even there is a little bad thing ( related to morality). a woman who is married to very older man , they lived happily for a long time (as she mentioned in the movie that she fell in love with husband when she is 18). so its kinda bad thing that when HUSBAND needs most of the wife, she goes for her fun , but anyhow movie also shows that she treats her dying husband also very well and care him. which makes the movie a BALANCE about secret love and caring wife. i really wished she could tell her husband about the affair or the situation. this would make movie interesting.

but anyhow its a good movie. beautiful woman, good looking man and mature old people.

Gone but not forgotten

I recently viewed "A Perfect Stranger" and the experience was both very sad for me and very sweet. I grew up watching Robert Urich on TV and have always adored this man as an actor. Knowing that Robert is no longer with us brought tears to my eyes, but at the same time seeing his charming characterization of Alex Hale in this movie was just so wonderful too! Rest in peace Robert.

The plot of the story revolves around Alex Hale, a lawyer, who accidentally meets the love of his life whilst out jogging one day. Unbeknownst to Alex, this lady is married to an ailing multi-millionaire. Their paths continue to cross by accident and the attraction between them continues to grow until they are unable to deny their feelings for each other.

Normal Tv Drama

This is your normal Tv Drama. On the other hand it had some really good actors. I think Holly Marie Combs had a very coming through role in it and i do suggest that you watch this movie next time it is on TV. Although various parts where boring it seemed to come back with an exciting part.

Awful

Oh my god - this movie was just awful!! After a very sentimental start it reached it highlight when a the leading woman first didn't wanted to be found and then just sends her address to the leading man. The only good thing was Holy Marie Combs. She's just lovely but her storyline is as a Disney-movie without a moral. Just tape the pieces with Holy Marie and DELETE the rest!!
