10 Best Joey Wheeler Duels in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime, Ranked
Image
When fans think of Yu-Gi-Oh!, they usually just think of all the wild things Yugi did in the Duelist Kingdom. Yet, Yugi's best friend Joey wasn't a slouch in the anime series. On the contrary, Joey finished near the top in two of the biggest tournaments in their world at the time. Joey's hard-won success made him easy to root for, as he begins as a complete newbie only to become one of the best duelists of the early Yu-Gi-Oh! era.

Like Yugi, Joey has no shortage of duels from across all the arcs of the anime. He faces everyone from other top-ranking duelists to even the main villain occasionally. He doesn't always win every duel, but it's always a blast to see him give everything he has.

Related10 Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists Who Would Destroy Yugi

Yugi Muto may be the King of Games, but these 10 Duelists would destroy him if they ever dueled.

A Low Point In Matthew Perry's Dating Life Gave Friends One Of Its Funniest Moments
Image
The entertainment world is still reeling from the sudden loss of Matthew Perry, the affable charmer who rose to fame as Chandler Bing on "Friends." The loss is greater considering that Perry was only 54 years old at the time of his passing, and how much closer fans felt towards him after his incredibly honest memoir, "Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing," came out just last year. Perry's autobiography received most of its press due to Perry revealing, in great detail, his severe problems with alcohol and substance abuse. The book helped make the man behind the curtain, so to speak, just as likable as the onscreen persona that he'll be most remembered for.

It's hard to imagine anyone else playing Chandler Bing at this point, and Perry wound up bringing a lot of his personal life to the part. As the show was ramping up for its first season,...

Matthew Perry Provided The Laughs For Friends' Opening Fountain Shoot
Image
A memorable theme song is a pretty key ingredient for a great TV show. We all remember those opening piano notes from "The Office," and if you grew up in the '90s, you've got "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" memorized word for word. Of course, one of the catchiest theme songs in television history has to be the one from "Friends," where the show's six young stars throw caution to the wind and start partying it up to "I'll Be There for You" by The Rembrandts.

While the song itself is a beloved earworm, what truly makes the moment is how Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and the late, great Matthew Perry decide to hop into a fountain in the middle of the night. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, series set decorator Greg Grande described the vibes during the shoot, saying, "To my best recollection,...

Why Courteney Cox And Matthew Perry Thought They Were The Perfect Pairing For Friends
Image
In the wake of Matthew Perry's recent tragic passing at the age of 54, it's worth remembering that Perry was very much the heart of "Friends" throughout all 10 seasons. He had a specific brand of delivery and a unique role in the group. He wasn't as over-the-top as other sitcom staples, but he was the one who made the show what it was, raising it above the other sitcoms of its time. As /Film senior editor Jacob Hall noted, "Ross and Rachel got the headlines. But Chandler was the soul of 'Friends.'"

He didn't just help put the show on the map, but also helped keep it going strong long after most sitcoms would've run out of steam. Chandler's relationship with Courteney Cox's Monica, which came seemingly out of nowhere in the Season 4 finale, quickly escalated to become one of the show's central storylines. Part of why...
