1990's Betsy's Wedding, which also starred Molly Ringwald, was Ally Sheedy's last Brat Pack movie. Afterward, Sheedy largely focused on TV movies and independent projects. Sheedy's most robust post-Brat Pack roles have come on TV shows including Single Drunk Female.
After Betsy's Wedding, Ally Sheedy continued to act even though she left the Brat Pack behind. The Brat Pack was the name given to a group of young actors who appeared in a variety of teen movies from the mid to late 1980s. Generally, the group was considered to include anybody from the casts of the 1985 movies The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo's Fire, particularly those who collaborated with other members of that group multiple times. Given the fact that Sheedy appeared in both 1985 movies, she was a core member of the Brat Pack.
Llike the rest of the group, she eventually left her younger roles behind toward the end of the 1980s.

As the beginning of his IMDb bio states, “Every horror film buff will recognize the name Jacques Haitkin.” Haitkin was the cinematographer on one of the most popular horror movies ever made, the 1984 Wes Craven classic A Nightmare on Elm Street (watch it Here). And while Craven didn’t return to the helm for A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy’s Revenge, Haitkin did return to be the cinematographer on that sequel. Sadly, we have to share the news today that Jacques Haitkin is no longer with us. This news was broken on the Facebook account of filmmaker Tony Randel, who is best known for directing Hellbound: Hellraiser II and worked with Haitkin on Galaxy of Terror, Ticks, Fist of the North Star, Rattled, One Good Turn, and Assignment Berlin.
Randel posted, “I knew Jacques Haitkin practically my entire career. We met on a Roger Corman horror/sci-fi epic – Galaxy of Terror.

Matheson on 'Case' as producer
Tim Matheson is turning his work as a television director and producer into a full-time job. The actor, who has been active as a director in television during the past few years, has joined the CBS/Warner Bros. TV drama series Cold Case as a producer. He also is set to direct multiple episodes during the police drama's upcoming sophomore season. Matheson directed one episode of the Jerry Bruckheimer TV-produced Cold Case last season, when the show established itself as a solid performer for CBS in the Sunday 8 p.m. time slot. Matheson previously directed episodes of another Jerry Bruckheimer TV/WBTV procedural drama for CBS, Without a Trace, as well as episodes of NBC's Third Watch and Ed and telefilms In the Company of Spies and Buried Alive 2. Onscreen, Matheson was most recently seen on NBC's The West Wing, in which he had a recurring role as vice president John Hoynes. He also co-starred last season in the ABC telefilm Judas. Matheson is repped by Beth Cannon at Invision Entertainment.
