Dan Aykroyd, John Goodman, J. Evan Bonifant, Joe Morton, and Blues Brothers Band in Blues Brothers 2000 (1998)

FAQ

Blues Brothers 2000

FAQ

    Nope.

Most likely, Elwood received a longer prison sentence, as he caused most of the mayhem in the original movie, while the rest of the band members, including Jake, were, at most, accessories. Unlike Curtis, none of the band members wrote to him in prison; Elwood himself said in the original movie that they were not the kind of guys to write letters. On top of that, Jake may have been illiterate. No one bothered to inform him of either Curtis's or Jake's death while he was still in prison.
