Jiskefet

10/10

Funny, witty and brilliant

Jiskefet, one of the funniest Dutch shows ever! Jiskefet is a program, which shows sketches who are absurd, funny and intelligent. Every season there are different people in a different settings. For example there are 3 gay pirates in the time of the VOC called 'The gentlemen of the Brown Star' or MULTILUL, which resolves around a consultancy company who spend their days designing the most useless, dumb commercials.

However most important is that the quality of the sketches is so high that it brings you a story sometimes touching, sometimes absurd, but most of the time really funny. This is achieved due to a great script, great acting and brilliant characters.

Still, keep in mind that this isn't the average comedy. Other comedy series like Friends or two and a half men are quick paced, and rely on many one-liners. Jiskefet takes its time to build it's scenes, and thus is a little slower, but still more authentic to me. give it a try, search it on you-tube, and perhaps You'll like it.

10/10 (for Dutch standards) 10/10 (for English standards ;))
