Well acted if routine movie

Well acted and directed with an easily followed story and believable characters. The motivations of some of the characters are not explored, giving a somewhat cardboard feel to them (primarily the football coach and the principal) but the performances by Reed and Clarke make up for this. Dialogue may seem contrived at times, though one has to remember that the film is about teenagers. Overall the story is a little predictable and perhaps even routine, but I would still rate it above average for being interesting and having engaging and sympathetic characters (on one side of the argument at any rate). Will appeal to those with simple tastes; those wanting a courtroom thriller with lots of twists and turns should go elsewhere.

A great drama about sexual harassment.

I was just sitting in front of the TV when this movie started. I didn't expect much, but I watched it anyway since I didn't have anything better to do.

The premise is not too exciting: A cheer leader is sexually harassed by the captain of the Football team, but the school prefers to silence her than to hurt the team's chance to win the big trophy and all that poop... Then she and her family begin the fight for justice!

No murders, no rapes... Mild drama... But then the movie comes up with enough plot twists and developments to make things more interesting. The acting is great and the script is above average. There are some really cool one-liners delivered very well. It won't make you really laugh, it'll make you smile with joy...

Soon enough I found myself being hurt with the cheer leader and smiling like an idiot in her happier moments... This movie is fun, and it made me feel real good. Some

Great movie

I don't remember the last time I have been sitting glued to my seat through the length of a movie on TV. I switch channels often, but this movie made me stay with the channel till it was over. It was a wonderful movie. The depiction of the struggle of Krista was so realistic. And this movie was more exciting than the slasher movies which usually center around school/ college students. Hope that people come up with more such movies.

More Peer Abuse.......

This movie was more classic Peer Abuse that kids live on a daily basis. The girl Krista stood up to the bullies who were members of the football team. However, cases like this are rare as over 98% of these incidents go unreported. Title IX is good, however, there needs to be firm laws enforced here as well (like in other forms of abuse). The movie was good and a good example of more Peer Abuse occuring before our eyes. Kudos to all involved!

Thrilling

I watched this movie last July, and it was thrilling. Krysta (Sara Chalke), a cheerleader refuses to take sexual harassment from football players. Throughout this movie, she makes relentless efforts to persuade her team, to stand up to these players. The rest you will have to be watch to find out what happens.
