Its about a teenaged girl (holly marie combs, from charmed!) who gets raped she's taken to a hospital where she meets a rape crisis councelor, Molly (Lindsey Wagner) who convinces her to go take the rapist to court. Only She finds out later that the girl is lying and hiding a few things that could hurt her in court.

There is nothing worse that can happen to a young girl, young lady or even an elderly woman as RAPE! This film starring Lindsay Wagner,(Molly McKinley),"A Light in the Forest",'02, works as a Rape Care Center Director in a rather run down building with very little funding. Molly was also a former Nun and meets up with Holly Marie Combs,(Sophia DiMatteo),"A Reason to Believe",'95, and tries to help her inform the proper authorities about the horrible violation to her body. This is a very down to earth film and shows how the very rich and powerful town people try to prevent Holly from getting a fair trial in a Court of Law! A very good TV Film to VIEW!

This movie is about a poor girl who gets raped by a well respected, rich creep and her struggle for justice. The girl is only 16 years old, although she is played by lovely Holly Marie Combs who was 22 at the time, and they never do bring the fact that she is a minor up in court which I found a little strange. She goes to a rape-victim center for help and to talk. The defense later wants to bring the documented chats up in court against her. The movie really shows how twisted society is, the victim is looked upon as a criminal accusing the poor rapist of horrible crimes, just wanting some sort of attention. Anyway, the movie is very good even though it might sound like a boring trial movie but it is really strong and very watchable.

Unless you are looking for a movie to glance at from time to time, I definitely recommend it.

This movie stars Holly marie Combs as Sophie, a 16 year old girl who was coming home from a bar and gets raped by a college student and he leaves her in the back of her car, Sophie is taken to a hospital where she meets Molly, (lindsey wagner) who runs a rape chrisis center. Molly agrees to help Sophie and convinces sophie she should go to D.A. Joe Finn and take her case to court only Sophie is hiding something that can be used against her and Molly tries to stop it by hiding the files and going to jail but Sophie begins to feel guilty and the only way to get molly out of jail is to turn over her files. They use her past against her in court and try to break her down. This movie is very good and It stars Holly Marie Combs from Charmed. This is by far Holly's best movie.

Typical of its genre, this straight-to-telly drama is based on facts designed to make you shake your head sadly at the ways of the world. In this case, a young woman is found suffering from severe shock after what looks like a violent sexual attack. However, the nun-turned-counsellor in charge of the local crisis centre looks into the case and finds the woman is not as she appeared to be. Wonder if you can guess why?
