Golden Planet

In this futuristic gold rush flick... It is the future. Unemployed miner Ben Rutherford (Harold Pruett) travels to Moon City, a colony on the moon's surface to find work. Ben soon meets Armond Crille (Rutger Hauer) a gambler whom claims he has won in a card game, the readouts to "Asteroid 13", a planet with a breathable atmosphere and that "Asteroid 13" could be a source of gold. Ben and Armond decide to fly out to Asteroid 13 to mine it for possible sources of gold. But, a beautiful Chinese American woman named Camilla Jones (Joan Chen) and a aging space pilot Sam Horton (Brion James) decides to join them on Asteroid 13. As they begin the mining operation on Asteroid 13, Ben, Armond, Camilla and Sam become distrustful of each other and paranoid as each of them suspects that one of them want the gold for his or herself. But, Ben and his companions soon find themselves in deep trouble when a notorious Chinese space pirate called Loo Seki also learns about Asteroid 13 and he goes to the planet and wants the gold for himself.
