There are countless enigmas in the world – lost cities, unsolved mysteries, unexplainable occurrences, and so on. However, there is one that continues to haunt the minds of film fanatics: who is going to be the next James Bond after Daniel Craig? Will it be the heavily reported Aaron Taylor-Johnson who takes the win, or will the people’s 007 Henry Cavill swoop in at the last minute and snag the deal for himself? The conundrum continues.

The future of the "James Bond" franchise has come more clearly into focus, and it appears that Amazon is now wasting no time getting the next film moving after years of essentially no movement. To briefly recap, Amazon recently gained full creative control over 007, with longtime producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson stepping aside. So, who will produce the next era of the legendary MI6 spy? That question has been answered.
Amy Pascal and David Heyman have been named as the producers of the currently untitled new "James Bond" film by Amazon MGM Studios, per a press release. The duo, who both have decades of experience working in big franchises (more on that in a moment) will now set about shaping the future of Bond on the big screen. Charlie Cox, the actor who plays Daredevil, recently talked about his cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home. In the latest issue of Disney’s D23 magazine, he called it a “two-year nightmare.”
Cox said, “When they told me I was going to be in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ it was a two-year nightmare trying to keep that from everyone.” He had to keep his role a secret for a long time.
Cox played Matt Murdock, Peter Parker’s lawyer, in the 2021 movie. Fans loved seeing him back as Daredevil. Theaters cheered when he appeared on screen.
He said, “Sometimes it feels as though things happen out of nowhere. Vince and I were like, ‘Great! I guess we’re going back to work.'” Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays Kingpin, also returned to the MCU around the same time in the Hawkeye series.

Fans haven't given up hope on Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man trilogy, even after plans for that sequel were scrapped. A concept trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 proves how that Venom crossover would have been an easy layup.
A new concept trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 offers a glimpse of how that film would have played out. It's a somber sequel that picks up immediately after Gwen Stacy's death. Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker mourns her death as her voice helps him deal with the loss. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hinted the Sinister Six was coming after revealing the Rhino in the end; that sparked hope the epic crossover would happen, that was until plans for Part 3 were shelved. "The Amazing Spider-Man 3: New Beginning" offered an alternative storyline, however, and it's partly inspired by Venom: The Last Dance.
The trailer imagined Peter duking it out with Venom in a symbiote storyline.

The Spider-Man 4 rumors have been picking up steam since it was announced that Stranger Things breakout Sadie Sink has joined the cast of the movie in a mysterious lead role, and a new casting call doing the rounds online (via Daniel Richtman) has amped speculation up to another level.
Sink's character is described as "a sharp and free-spirited woman with a mysterious past. Strong-willed, intelligent, and not easily intimidated."
Any number of Marvel Comics heroes and villains could potentially fit the bill here. There's been some chatter about Felicia Hardy/Black Cat, but the prevailing theory is that Sink will play a new take on Mary Jane Watson. The X-Men's Jean Grey is another possibility, but it's looking increasingly likely that this initial rumor sprang from crossed wires about which project Sink was in talks for.

Although the two Avengers films are in the focus of Marvel’s fans, the fourth Spider-Man movie is also one of the most highly anticipated projects, as the fans want to see how Tom Holland’s MCU future will evolve and how Marvel is going to resolve the story from No Way Home.
At this point, we know that the movie is going to be made, that Tom Holland is coming back, and that the movie is being worked on as we speak. Everything else is just a rumor at this point, but since there are so many rumors, we have a new one for you as well.

After the billion-dollar hit of "Spider-Man: No Way Home," the fourth Tom Holland-led Spidey movie has been surprisingly slow-moving. But it is in the works, and targeting a July 2026 release date. "Spider-Man 4" recently scored a new female lead in actress Sadie Sink, but what about the movie's big bad?
There's been no confirmed villain and, truthfully, the Spider-Man films have already gone through his major adversaries. "No Way Home" even brought back past villains for a multiversal Sinister Six. That probably cools the chances of us getting a Marvel Cinematic Universe-original Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, etc. for now.
Kraven the Hunter has been the perennial "they'll definitely do him in the next movie" pick since back when Andrew Garfield was still going to get his "Amazing Spider-Man 3." But Sony instead chose to make a (terrible) "Kraven the Hunter" solo movie, so I doubt they'll want to drag him out again so soon.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is no stranger to fan theories, rather it is one of the most attractive points of the franchise that draws fans. Now that Tom Holland’s fourth Spider-Man film is in the making and Sadie Sink has reportedly been roped in for an unnamed role, one of the most exciting ideas currently circulating is that she might play Tobey Maguire and Kristen Dunst’s on-screen daughter.

Since the upcoming flick is rumored to be yet another multiversal adventure, to be released between Doomsday and Secret Wars, this theory does make sense and could be a game-changer for Holland’s next movie.

Stranger Things actress Sadie Sink is among the top choices for fan-casting for X-Men's Jean Grey. Marvel Cinematic Universe's new X-Men film hasn't received many updates, but Sink's name has been in the headlines for a long time.
So far, the new X-Men film has no official actors tied to the project, although there have been several reports about different characters. Rumors have swirled that Sink, as well as Harris Dickinson and Julia Butters, are tied to the roles of Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Kitty Pryde, respectively. In a new Happy Sad Confused podcast appearance, Sink addressed the rumors for the first time.
Josh Horowitz told the actress around the 41:15 mark, "If the internet is to be believed, you are already Jean Grey in X-Men," to which she laughed, confirming that people have asked her about this before.
The rumors are really cool.

For more than three years now, we've been living a real-life adaptation of Spider-Man: No More! Tom Holland's iteration of the wall-crawler was last seen back in 2021 during the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, and then completely disappeared from the public eye. On the bright side, the wait for his return is getting shorter and shorter. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is staging a big comeback for one of its most popular heroes, and all eyes are set on Spider-Man 4 to create an engaging story capable of surpassing all expectations. The only problem? We know very little (if anything) about what the movie will be about.

Sorry, Kingpin fans, but Vincent D'Onofrio is not in Spider-Man 4. The Daredevil: Born Again actor has once again shot down a rumor claiming that he will appear in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel.

Earlier this week, the news broke that Sadie Sink has joined the cast of Marvel Studios' Spider-Man 4. Despite initial reports about the Stranger Things star suiting up as Jean Grey, we've since heard she's playing Mary Jane Watson.

It’s been nine years since Zendaya officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Michelle “Mj” Jones in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Her debut was met with mixed reactions from fans, and some of them were racially charged. Of course, the actress did not let her haters put her down—she even dealt with one humorously!

Sink is the first major actor to join the project and her announcement led to much speculation as to who she could play in the Marvel sequel, which will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (“Shang-Chi”) and is due to start filming this year.
The “Stranger Things” star has been at the top of fans’ wishlist for a certain phoenix-fueled X-Man for years now, but that’s far from the only option for the actress.
Below are three of the top running possibilities for Sink to play in the upcoming MCU sequel and how she could possibly be incorporated.

Deadline reports that Sadie Sink has joined the cast of Tom Holland's upcoming fourth Spider-Man film. Sink is a rising star, having broke out with her role as Max Mayfield on "Stranger Things." She's since gone on to make notable appearances in the "Fear Street" films and play a supporting part in Darren Aronofsky's Brendan Fraser comeback vehicle, "The Whale."
The report does not say which character Sink is playing, and it may be more complicated than it appears. Now, Sink's red hair should set off all of your spider-senses. The obvious conclusion is that she'll be playing Mary Jane Watson, Peter Parker's famously red-haired girlfriend. But doesn't Tom Holland's Peter already have an Mj?
In the Jon Watts-directed "Spider-Man" trilogy, Holland's Peter Parker got together with Michelle "Mj" Jones (Zendaya). Now, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" ended with Mj losing her memories of Peter, and he...

With Sadie Sink set to join the MCU in Spider-Man 4, there are a few characters that could suit her perfectly.
Spider-Man 4 is set to release in July 2026, almost five years after No Way Home's record-breaking success.
Rumors suggest the movie may blend street-level hero stories with multiversal elements, possibly featuring multiple villains, and could include appearances from Daredevil, Kingpin, and even Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Men. It wasn't until now that the story could fundamentally include the X-Men.

Stranger Things star Sadie Sink will join Tom Holland in the fourth Spider-Man film.
Filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) is helming the movie that is currently untitled. Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna penned the screenplay.
The plot for the fourth Spider-Man is being kept under wraps, with the last film, No Way Home, ending with the world forgetting that teenager Peter Parker was Spider-Man, including Mj (Zendaya). It is unclear who Sink will play in the film.
Holland teased the fourth film last year during a stop on Good Morning America, saying, “The idea is crazy. It’s a little different to anything we’ve done before, but I think the fans are gonna really respond to it.”
Sony Pictures has set a theatrical release for July 31, 2026.

Sadie Sink is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The “Stranger Things” star has been cast in “Spider-Man 4,” in which she’ll share the screen with Tom Holland as the teenaged, web-slinging Avenger.
It’s unclear who Sink will portray in the comic book adventure, though Deadline, which first reported the casting news, hinted that her role will be “significant.” The outlet also posited that Sink could play “X-Men” mutant Jean Grey, a character who has been brought to the screen in the past by Famke Janssen and Sophie Turner.
Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, which releases the “Spider-Man”-centric films in Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe, couldn’t be reached for comment.
Plot details on the fourth “Spider-Man” installment haven’t been revealed. In the third entry, 2021’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” Peter Parker accidentally breaks open the multiverse and allows for two prior Spider-Men, Tobey MaGuire and Andrew Garfield,...

Spider-Man4 just added a Stranger Things star, but she may not be the X-Men character she has long been rumored for. The long-gestating sequel has seen some delays and creative overhauls in recent years, but it seems the latest update means Marvel Studios has nailed down a story for the No Way Home follow-up.
Deadline reports that Sadie Sink has joined Tom Holland in Spider-Man 4 in an undisclosed role. She will be a major part of the film, but it is unclear if she is playing Jean Grey, another version of Mary Jane, or Gwen Stacy. There is also the possibility she is playing Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat. The trade outlet seems to speculate that Sink is either the red-headed member of the X-Men or Peter Parker's love interest Mj, but as most people are well aware of, actors tend to dye their hair (or wear wigs) for certain roles.

Announced last year, Spider-Man 4 is officially in development, though details remain scarce. What has been confirmed is that Tom Holland and Zendaya will reprise their roles, with Destin Daniel Cretton set to direct.
Before the film’s confirmation, reports suggested Marvel Studios was torn between two potential directions: a Multiversal storyline continuing from No Way Home or a grounded, street-level narrative featuring Daredevil and Kingpin.
However, after Robert Downey Jr. was confirmed to return to the MCU as Doctor Doom, Marvel Studios reportedly decided to pursue the Multiversal storyline.
Since development was confirmed, speculation about potential villains has been nonstop. Rumors have linked the film to various iconic foes, including Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Knull, Vulture, and more from Spider-Man’s legendary rogues’ gallery.

Bokween Woodbine played a supporting role in Spider-Man: Homecoming as secondary villain, Herman Schultz, but we haven't seen the character since he was defeated by Tom Holland's wall-crawler (with a little help from Ned Leeds).
We didn't really expect Shocker to show up in the MCU again, but Woodbine has now hinted at his return in a future project.
While speaking to The Direct at the SXSW premiere of Government Cheese, the actor was asked what became of Schultz after the events of Homecoming.
"That's a very good question. I'm wondering the same. But I get a feeling it might not be the last time you see the Shocker."
Woodbine was also asked if there was ever any talk of him donning a more comic-accurate costume.
"We discussed it," he reveals. "It wasn't right or appropriate for that first one. But who knows, down the line, [we can get] a little bit closer to the original suit.

The actors from Marvel's The Defenders saga are eyeing a 2026 return, according to a new rumor.
After Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist were progressively canceled at Netflix it seemed like the characters and their actors had hung up their suits permanently.
However, since the rights to the characters have been returned to Marvel Studios, at least one of the Defenders has had a second shot in the MCU. Charlie Cox has reprised his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in three MCU projects to date: Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Daredevil: Born Again.

It began with 2008’s “Iron Man,” a film that introduced the world to Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark with the hint that he could be part of something greater. Over 30 films later, the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still being told, albeit with various tributaries and detours that introduce new characters and new worlds that may or may not cross paths one day. Each film in the MCU stands on its own to some degree, but like building blocks, they all connect as part of one interconnected universe. And in that way, watching the Marvel movies in order tells one grand story.

One of the most exciting aspects of Daredevil's reboot on Disney+ is that Matt Murdock is now a more significant part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe than ever before. On Netflix, Charlie Cox's Man Without Fear was allowed to make subtle references to the MCU, but his recent inclusion in Marvel series and movies allows him to interact more directly with our favorite heroes. Notably, after the Netflix series was canceled, Daredevil made his initial return in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home as Peter Parker's lawyer. Now, a small reference in Daredevil: Born Again may hint at a potential team-up in the future.
At the center of Born Again's narrative is Wilson Fisk's (Vincent D'onofrio) Mayoral campaign, as the character's political ambitions set him on a collision course with Murdock, despite the latter not having been active as Daredevil for over a year. Interestingly, at the...

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is a 2021 MCU movie, part of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and introduced both the character of Shang-Chi and the criminal organization of the Ten Rings. Shang-Chi was the second highest-rated film of Phase Four on Rotten Tomatoes, following close behind Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Spider-Man 4 is set to see Tom Holland's eponymous wall-crawling hero return and continue the acclaimed Home saga. There have been numerous theories and rumors relating to Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios' fourth solo Spider-Man movie, and speculation really kicked up a few notches when some pretty wild reports about which characters could be involved in the story started doing the rounds a couple of months back.
Now, a new rumor may give us a better idea of what to expect.
According to Daniel Richtman, Spider-Man 4 is basically being developed as "a direct sequel" to Avengers: Doomsday that will bridge the gap between the 2026 film and 2027's Avengers: Secret Wars.

Daredevil star Charlie Cox shared a story about the time he almost spoiled his cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home while with co-star Andrew Garfield.
While Garfield's No Way Home appearance sent the rumor mill into overdrive, the rumors surrounding Cox's role in the Spider-Man threequel were just as thrilling. Not only did it mark his first time playing Daredevil since 2018, but that scene was also his true introduction to the greater MCU outside of Netflix's Defenders Saga.
Considering how many wild cameos and characters were used for No Way Home, the cast was naturally sworn to secrecy of the highest level (even if that did not work for Alfred Molina). However, those secrets were always in danger of being leaked thanks to those big names being in such close proximity.

If you’re wondering what Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief is up to now that the final stages of the multiverse saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are right around the corner, you might as well brace yourselves for some disappointment even though it is only understandable to expect Loki to grace his presence in the lore.

This is because the franchise is keeping strictly tight-lipped about the God of Thunder’s adopted brother’s involvement in the saga. In fact, while fans can look forward to Robert Downey Jr. returning to the super-verse with chaos as Doctor Doom alongside multiple other characters, keeping their expectations low on Hiddleston’s return might as well be a good choice for now.

Marvel Exec Reveals What's Holding Back Tom Holland's Spider-Man From Appearing in MCU Disney+ Shows
Fans calling for Tom Holland's Spider-Man to feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's TV shows get a definitive reason regarding his absence on the small screen. Marvel executive Brad Winderbaum shares why Peter Parker won't appear in any Disney+ series, before his return in Spider-Man 4.
Speaking with Brandon Davis on the Phase Hero podcast about Daredevil: Born Again, Winderbaum was asked why Holland's wall-crawling hero hasn't featured on any Disney+ shows throughout his MCU run. According to the Marvel producer, a rights issue involving Sony has prevented potential appearances. “[Sony has] the long-form television rights, we can do 30-minute animation,” he said.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 is reportedly going down Marvel’s preferred path. Despite Sony’s insistence on another multiversal storyline, reports suggest that the new film is far more grounded and probably will not feature any multiverse villains. The fourth McU-set Spider-Man film is reportedly drawing inspiration from another grounded superhero story in recent times.

Matt Reeves’ The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, was a gritty thriller that did not have the grandeur of the Dceu Batman. However, it received an overwhelming response from DC fans, which suggests that viewers are accepting of such grounded stories amidst alleged superhero fatigue.

Spider-Man 4's release date has officially been bumped. However, the delay that the movie now faces is a minuscule change, which means superhero fans will only have to wait one extra week until Tom Holland returns to the big screen as Peter Parker and his webslinging alter ego. The follow-up to 2021’s blockbuster Spider-Man: No Way Home was originally slated for release on July 24, 2026, but the film will now drop seven days later on July 31, according to a new report published by Variety.
Making the shift means the Sony/Marvel flick is swinging away from some pretty stiff competition, which has summer blockbuster aspirations of its own. So, the move shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, particularly to movie lovers, and those executives behind the No Way Home sequel undoubtedly must have felt their collective Spider-Senses tingling. Had the release date not been changed, Spider-Man 4...
