The "Star Trek: Enterprise" episode "Borderland" was significant within "Star Trek" lore. It was the first part of a three-episode arc that finally offered a canonical reason as to why Klingons looked like humans in the original "Star Trek" series, but had large, outsize foreheads in "Star Trek: The Next Generation." It seems that a mad geneticist named Arik Soong (Brent Spiner) had been tinkering with genetic enhancements, creating "ideal" versions of humanity called Augments. In the lore of "Star Trek," such genetic enhancements are strictly verboten, as previous such attempts led to a vicious Eugenics War on Earth. Soong's ostracized Augments fell in with Klingon society, and began having children. The kids of Augments and Klingons looked like 1966-era Klingons. The DNA, Soon argues, will be bred out within a few generations. Hence, why Klingons looked different on "Next Generation."

Set footage of Arnold Schwarzenegger decked out in a plush red suit and sporting a frosty white beard have made fans do a double take, as the action hero becomes Santa Claus for his upcoming festive movie. Joining forces with Reacher star Alan Ritchson for The Man with the Bag, the Amazon MGM Studios movie is expected to hit Prime Video this December, and the first look at the film has certainly set the scene for Schwarzenegger’s return to the Christmas genre for the first time in almost 30 years.
The action legend’s appearance in The Man with the Bag will bring him back to the festive market for only the second time following the 1996 comedy Jingle All the Way, and is his first big movie since 2019’s Terminator: Dark Fate. The fates of child actors always seem so predetermined. A few get out and make good on their ambitions, but others get wrapped up in drugs or fade into oblivion or become incessant tabloid fodder. But Jake Lloyd is different. Tasked with carrying the future of Star Wars on his tiny shoulders, he was absolutely shredded by moviegoers and the media at just 10 years old. Facing bullying at school, hate from Star Wars fans, ridicule from reporters, and battles with his mental health, Jake Lloyd has seen a world like perhaps no other child actor before or since. More than 25 years removed from The Phantom Menace, he’s eyeing a recovery that matches it. Let’s find out: What Happened to… Jake Lloyd?

Jake Lloyd was remarkably cute for a child actor. He was that darling child next to Ah-nald in Jingle All the Way. He was adept at convincing Star Wars fans that he was Anakin Skywalker--the kid who would become Darth Vader. Becoming the sardonic personification of the Dark Side of the Force can play with a blossoming eight-year-old mind. Yet, Lloyd did an admirable job.
The Phantom Menace became nothing short of a prolonged labor of love for George Lucas. Since he is, you know, George-freaking-Lucas, no one is going to continue to bash his octogenarian cranium into an ashtray. However, while the crazed fandom was vociferously shouting at the sun because of Jar-Jar Binks, Jake Lloyd quietly began a lifelong confrontation with an evil he could never explain.
Until now. That was 25 years ago.
Jake Lloyd Speaks Up About His Schizophrenia Although the fandom caused some trouble, they have also brought healing.

The Phantom Menace's Jake Lloyd Addresses Mental Health Struggles, Thanks Star Wars Fans for Support
Star Wars franchise star Jake Lloyd rose to fame as the child star at the heart of the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. As he grew older, Lloyd drifted away from acting and his subsequent struggles with his mental health have been well documented.
Lloyd has now commented on his struggles and his Star Wars experience for a new interview with Star Wars: Timelines co-author Clayton Sandell on Substack. He shared how a diagnosis of schizophrenia led to his exit from Hollywood after starring in hit films like the Star Wars prequel and Jingle All the Way. Lloyd's struggles would continue years into his adulthood, though he says he's now feeling "pretty good" after spending 18 months at an inpatient mental health facility. He now resides at a different rehab center where he continues to receive treatment, though it comes with substantially more freedom, as he's permitted...

Jake Lloyd, who rose to fame as young Anakin Skywalker in 1999’s Star Wars: Episode 1 — The Phantom Menace, is opening up about his mental health struggles and the schizophrenia diagnosis that contributed to his leaving Hollywood shortly after the film’s release.
In a new interview with Star Wars: Timelines co-author Clayton Sandell, Jake Lloyd said he was feeling “pretty good” after completing an 18-month stay at an inpatient mental health facility in Southern California. He is currently residing at a new rehabilitation center, where he’s still receiving treatment but is a free agent regarding leaving and coming back.
“[I feel] pretty good, considering these 20 years of time that have come to an end,” he said. “I can now accept taking on continued treatment, and therapy, and my meds. Everyone’s been very supportive.”

The only thing more predictable than Santa Claus effigies during Christmastime are debates about whether Die Hard counts as a Christmas movie or not. The debate mostly stems from the fact that, outside the Nakatomi Plaza staff's Christmas party and occasional mentions of the Yuletide Season, the movie looks nothing like a typical holiday movie. That being said, these discussions ignore the most important part of this movie's legacy. Specifically, the fact that Die Hard is one of the most important action movies ever made.
Even though it came out almost 40 years ago, Die Hard continues to be referenced, homaged and refuted even to this very day by other action movies. It's impossible to deny the impact that Die Hard and John McClane (Bruce Willis) had on action movies and blockbusters as whole. To its admirers, Die Hard is simultaneously the ultimate action movie and a great Christmas movie. These sentiments are irrefutable,...

When it comes to Christmas movies, Jingle All the Way is brought up either sincerely or in jest; there's no in-between. Depending on who's asked, Arnold Schwarzenegger's Christmas comedy is either one of his most overlooked works, or it's a hilarious misfire that should only be remembered as a punchline. Despite its divisive reputation, there's a reason why Jingle All the Way remains a holiday staple for its fans (both ironic and otherwise) 28 years after it first hit theaters.
On its surface, Jingle All the Way is indistinguishable from saccharine family comedies about workaholic and neglectful dads going on odysseys of hijinks and humiliation to win back their family's love and respect. Add the fact that it's set during Christmastime, and the movie seems more generic than it should be. These aren't surprising, given that these trends were the norm at the time of this movie's release. However, Jingle All the Way...

Christmas—the most magical time of the year—has the ability to stir up emotions that are as sweet as the scent of fresh pine trees and as warm as a cup of hot cocoa. We gather with family, exchange stories, and indulge in the joy of traditions. Oh, and let’s not forget the gifts—because what’s Christmas without a little bit of greed wrapped in glitter?
But if there’s one thing that makes this season even more special, it’s the holiday flicks that have become as essential as the Christmas cakes.

Hollywood is full of tough guys. Sylvester Stallone, Liam Neeson, Bruce Li, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews...these are just some of the leading men known for their muscles and machismo. However, when talking about the brawniest performers, it's hard not to mention the Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Back in 1982, Arnold Schwarzenegger broke onto the scene as the titular hero in Conan the Barbarian. Since then, the powerhouse has made a major name for himself in the action genre. He has starred in many high-octane classics, not limited to Total Recall, Predator, Commando, The Running Man, and of course, The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. With his chiseled physique and distinct Austrian accent, the actor is well-suited to playing tough guys on screen. It's not surprising that he would feel at home in the genre. When thinking about the best Christmas movies, it comes to mind the blockbusters that remain classics to this day, such as Home Alone and Jingle All the Way, while among the animated options, hits such as The Nightmare Before Christmas and Klaus stand out. However, what many viewers don’t know is that although there aren’t many anime movies or series related to these holidays, there is a fun and heartwarming film to enjoy at Christmas directed by none other than the acclaimed director Satoshi Kon and by the same writer of Cowboy Bebop.
Far from the psychological approach of his acclaimed films Perfect Blue and Millennium Actress, Satoshi Kon created his more realistic and underrated work Tokyo Godfathers more than 20 years ago. Streaming audiences have been all over the place with their holiday viewing this year. Instead of non-stop Christmas classics, we've seen Megan Fox sci-fi thrillers dominating Netflix's charts, and Gerard Butler-led crime thrillers taking over the Max rankings. That said, viewers have still managed to squeeze in some traditional holiday fare amid all the crime and sci-fi stuff, with Prime Video audiences propelling Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1996 Christmas comedy "Jingle All the Way" to the top of that streamer's charts. But even as the festive classics surface for the season, our collective appetite for darker offerings appears to be insatiable, as a new Netflix comedy drama series has managed to stand out amid the holiday stream-fest.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's upcoming Christmas movie, The Man With The Bag, could finally rectify a disastrous sequel that scored only 20% on Rotten Tomatoes. Arnold Schwarzenegger is best known for action movies such as Terminator, sparking a trend for the prolific actor. However, Schwarzenegger often broke this genre trend and starred in comedies. This includes the 1996 Christmas classic Jingle All the Way. The film centers around two rival fathers, Schwarzenegger and Sinbad, desperately trying to purchase a popular action figure called Turbo-Man for their sons in a last-minute shopping dash on Christmas Eve.
Despite Jingle All The Way being regarded as a festive classic now, the Christmas movie was poorly received and a box office flop when it was released. This was surprising considering Arnold Schwarzenegger’s popularity at the time, although critics did praise both Schwarzenegger and Sinbad’s performances amid the negative reception. Jingle All the Way is a Christmas classic.
The celebrity-filled holiday comedy centers around Howard Langston, a salesman for a mattress company, who is constantly kept busy at his job, disappointing his son. After he misses his son’s karate exposition, Howard vows to make it up to him by buying an action figure of his son’s favorite television hero for Christmas. Unfortunately for Howard, it is Christmas Eve, and every store is sold out of Turbo Man. Now, Howard must travel all over town and compete with everybody else to find a Turbo Man action figure.
Over the years, several of the stars have amassed millions of dollars – and one star is nearly a billionaire. We have also sadly lost quite a few members of the cast in recent years.

’Twas the weekend before Christmas… With the holiday season upon us, many of us are starting to revisit some of our of Christmas favourites. I actually went to see a 4K re-release of the original Black Christmas last night here in Montreal. There’s something comforting upon returning to our old favourites every year, whether they be traditional Christmas classics, or perhaps something a little more modern, like Die Hard, which, despite many claiming otherwise, has totally established itself as a Christmas classic over the years.
Whatever the case, there are certainly Loads of Christmas movies, with everything from old-time classics like It’s A Wonderful Life or some of the many versions of A Christmas Carol (the Alistair Sim version is the best Imo), or something like Love Actually, which is virtually inescapable at this time of the year.

Dig through cinema's litter box and all kinds of "gems" exist. Yeah, there are serious stinkers that require sage to cleanse rooms from their after-effects, but there are also diamonds in the rough -- the 'so-bad-it's-good' movies that keep audiences coming back over and over again. From a critical perspective, these productions are far from great in various criteria, but viewers don't care about such frivolous matters. The films hold a certain charm and captivating magic that money can't buy, possessing the ability to lift moods through the mere mention of their names.
Lest we forget, cinema proves to be a subjective experience. One person's Uwe Boll is another's Martin Scorsese. As long as everyone's enjoying themselves, let them. There's no need to be the gatekeeper of joy in life.
From slashers in space to snakes on a plane, let's fill up that watchlist for the next few weeks with the 15 best 'so-bad-it's-good' movies.

After spending the '80s and early '90s becoming the pre-eminent action star of his generation and feuding with Sylvester Stallone over the title, Arnold Schwarzenegger spent the latter half of the '90s trying to prove he could front charming family-friendly fare -- and wouldn't you know it, he could. Of course, a man who hailed from a small Austrian township and conquered bodybuilding, married a Kennedy, became a movie star, and launched a successful career in U.S. politics was never really going to struggle with something as trivial as a career rebrand. So, '90s kids were treated to all manner of surprisingly decent family comedy, from "Kindergarten Cop" to the Christmas favorite "Jingle All the Way."

Director John Hughes' 1989 comedy is currently trending on Amazon Prime Video's most-watched movie list at number nine, per FlixPatrol. While "Uncle Buck" is not technically a Christmas movie, it has a lot of the hallmarks of one, including good-hearted humor, "Home Alone" actor Macaulay Culkin, and yes, John Candy, star of "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" (a film...

Nothing says Christmas like a good Arnie movie, at least that is what Netflix users have suggested after making one of the Big Man’s most underrated movies a hit several years after its disappointing showing at the box office. Surprisingly, that movie is not one of Schwarzenegger’s festive offerings, but Terminator: Dark Fate.
While many streaming charts are dominated by the movies of Christmas past, including a more joyous offering from the Austrian Oak in Jingle All The Way, it seems that Netflix subscribers are a different breed. Although the most recent version of The Grinch is holding tight at No.2 on the global chart, the top spot is held by Taron Egerton's action thriller Carry-On, while No.3 is proof that there are a lot of people who just want to see a half-man, half-machine blowing things up to get them in the mood for the holidays.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alan Ritchson are hard at work on their new Christmas movie!
The 77-year-old Terminator actor and the 42-year-old Reacher actor filmed a few late-night scenes for their movie The Man With The Bag outside of Grand Central Station on Wednesday (December 18) in New York City.
For their time on set, Arnold appeared dressed up as Santa Claus while Alan sported a Santa hat and black jacket.
Earlier in the day, Arnold was seen in the same outfit as he and fellow co-star Kyle Mooney filmed a few scenes as they did some shopping at a holiday market.
Here’s the film’s logline via Deadline: “When Santa’s magic bag is stolen, he turns to his naughty list to find Vance, a former thief, to help him get it back. Along with his daughter, Santa, and a group of misfit elves, Vance will have to pull off...

For fans of Arnold Schwarzenegger, the sight of the 77-year-old action star strolling through New York in a full Santa Claus getup might just tug at the heartstrings. As he walked down the street, his grey beard and hair clearly showing the passage of time, surrounded by bodyguards, the fans’ collective thoughts seemed to be the same: When did he get this old?

For years, Schwarzenegger was the definition of larger-than-life—The Terminator, Conan the Barbarian, an actor who could flex his way out of any jam. But now, seeing him in his 70s, struggling to walk, it’s like watching a superhero slowly lose his superpowers.
Fans are heartbroken over Arnold Schwarzenegger’s new transformation
Arnold Schwarzenegger has been a lot of things in his storied career—a bodybuilder, an action legend, a governor, and now, Santa Claus.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is taking his talents to the holiday season, alongside Reacher star Alan Ritchson for Amazon MGM's upcoming Christmas-themed action film The Man With the Bag. The film sees the action heroes play unlikely allies forced to join forces to save Christmas. Prime Video's latest attempt to produce a successful holiday franchise has officially begun filming, and the streamer has unveiled the first look at The Man with the Bag featuring both actors.
The first image (see below) features Alan Ritchson and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Christmas spirit, with the latter sporting a Santa Claus appearance. Ritchson will play Vance, a former thief, while Schwarzenegger plays the bearded gift-giver that needs help getting his Santa bag of presents back. This marks the second time Amazon has made Santa an old buff guy, after Red One featured a ripped J.K. Simmons in the role. It's unclear when The Man with the Bag will release,...

Amazon MGM Studios is working hard against other studios and streaming services to get ahead in the highly competitive Christmas genre. With Netflix taking over the rom-com genre, Amazon has decided to test out the action comedy genre and, following the success of Red One, he's bringing Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alan Ritchson for a new project.
In a first-look photo shared on Instagram, the popular Terminator actor and the Reacher star suited up for the upcoming holiday comedy The Man with the Bag as the film started production. Schwarzenegger is hardly a newcomer to the genre after his 1996 family comedy Jingle All the Way, but it's been a while since the actor took a role in a holiday-themed movie. The project was first announced in June 2023, with the Reacher actor set to star in the family comedy, with Schwarzenegger joining The Man With the Bag in March 2024.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Reacher‘s Alan Ritchson have started filming their holiday movie The Man with the Bag for Amazon MGM!
By the looks of these set photos – taken on Tuesday (December 17) in New York City – it appears as if Arnold might be playing Santa Claus. That’s also what Deadline speculated when they announced his casting back in May of 2024.
Here’s the film’s logline: “When Santa’s magic bag is stolen, he turns to his naughty list to find Vance, a former thief, to help him get it back. Along with his daughter, Santa, and a group of misfit elves, Vance will have to pull off the greatest heist of his life to save Christmas.”
Arnold previously starred in another holiday comedy film, 1996’s Jingle All The Way. He last appeared in a film back in 2019, when he starred in two: Terminator: Dark Fate and Kung Fury 2.

The 1996 movie Jingle All the Way might not be the best-reviewed Christmas film, but nearly three decades after its release, it still holds a special place in the hearts of millennials who watched it as kids, wishing they had a Turbo Man toy of their very own. Its cast featured a combination of some of the era's biggest stars alongside recognizable character actors, and one child actor who was just a few years away from international fame — or infamy.
In the 28 years since its premiere, what's become of the cast of Jingle All the Way? Let's take a look at where some of its lead actors are now.

"Kindergarten Cop" is the quintessential 90s movie. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, the defining action star of the era, in a role few thought he could pull off, and it's directed by one of the most prolific filmmakers of the decade. The film also features a cast of young actors just before they went on to achieve major success. Now, we're looking back at the talent involved in "Ghostbusters" director Ivan Reitman's popular 1990 comedy to find out what they're up to these days, mainly because we love reminding ourselves just how old we are.
For those unaware, "Kindergarten Cop" follows Detective John Kimble (Arnold) as he goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher to bust a dangerous criminal. Like "Twins," Reitman's previous collaboration with Arnold, "Kindergarten Cop" blends comedy with drama, plus a hefty dose of surprisingly violent action, resulting in the perfect movie to show kids of all ages in...

Is it really Christmas until you've heard those words uttered: "Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals!"? The Christmas classic Home Alone and its sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, are now #2 and #4, respectively, on Disney+'s Top 10 list. In addition to all six Home Alone films, fans will find no shortage of Christmas selections on Disney+, such as The Polar Express, Mickey and the Very Many Christmases, The Santa Clause, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Fred Claus, Christmas with the Kranks, and Jingle All the Way.
In 2023, during the unveiling of Macaulay Culkin's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Catherine O'Hara said that the love audiences have for Home Alone is a direct result of Culkin's work. Prime Video is a great choice to stream those hard-to-find Christmas classics!
Even though Prime Video doesn’t have nearly as many iconic holiday films as some of the other streamers, it does excel when it comes to hard-to-find classics. Perhaps the biggest draw for the nostalgics is “Emmet Otters Just Band Christams.” For the older crowd, 1954’s “White Christmas” and 1946’s “It’s a Wonderful Life” can be found here as well. Also, don’t sleep on my favorite guilty pleasure, “Jingle All the Way.”
Odds are, if you’ve gone all-in with your holiday shopping on Amazon, you may already be a Prime member, so why not take full advantage of your subscription and stream these Christmas classics to get in the holiday spirit!
If you’re looking for even more holiday content, be sure to check out the best Christmas movies on other streaming platforms as well!

Merry Christmas, you filthy animals. The time has come for your annual “Home Alone” marathon — but where exactly are those films calling home this holiday season?
In fairness, there are a lot of them to keep track of. Though the series ended in the hearts of most fans with “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” there were actually four more films that came after it. But, only the first two center on Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin), Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern). After that, new kids and new thieves take the reins.
The good news is, you can find all the “Home Alone” films in one place this year. But, you can also find them elsewhere, if you want to spend some money.

This holiday season, “Home Alone” and its many sequels are available to stream on Disney+.

We all know Arnold Schwarzenegger terminated the 1980s as the premiere action movie star alongside Stallone, but what about the 90s? Beyond Total Recall, T-2: Judgment Day, and True Lies, what’s the best Arnie action flick released between 1990 and 1999? And when we mean best, we don’t mean box office success, we’re talking about old-school ass-kicking Schwarzenegger action hinting at the halcyon days that date back to Commando and Conan the Barbarian. Is it Last Action Hero? End of Days? Or is it Chuck Russell’s underrated 1996 conspiracy espionage thriller Eraser? If you said Junior, Jingle All the Way, or Batman & Robin, you may kindly show yourselves out the door this instant. Better yet, stick around, Eraser is about to wipe your memory and prove why it’s the last great Arnie action flick to blast the masses in the 1990s.

Many may not recall Sylvester Stallone starring in a Christmas movie, but there is one film under his belt that secretly falls in the genre. Interestingly, however, the Stallone Christmas movie is a far cry from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s well-known feel-good holiday flick, Jingle All the Way. In their long and prosperous careers as actors, both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone have experimented with different movie genres. While they have mostly played leading roles in action films, they also have other genres like comedy, sci-fi, drama, and thrillers in their portfolios.
The two have even collaborated in several movies, like Escape Plan and The Expendables 3. However, despite being two of the biggest stars of the same era of cinema, Stallone and Schwarzenegger have followed significantly different paths as actors. The variance in their acting journey seems more evident when their Christmas movies are considered. While Stallone's only Christmas movie...

As the winter holidays approach, among people's most beloved activities is doing a binge-watching session of their favorite Christmas classics. From Miracle on 34th Street to A Christmas Carol, there are countless films to choose from that evoke the festive spirit. However, not all the now-beloved titles were well-received when they came out. For different reasons, many struggled to immediately find the recognition they would later obtain, and they either flopped at the box office or were not as appreciated by the critics.
Over the years, some of these initially underappreciated works found their place in the holiday tradition. They may have been ahead of their time, and only needed a cultural shift to finally be universally appreciated; or even if their critical reception was not as acclaimed, they might still resonate with audiences. Eventually, they drew in the public despite technical flaws and found a place in their hearts,...

Home Alone is No. 1 on the Disney+ Top 10 chart in the United States, so there's reason to celebrate for those fans of "ya filthy animal." The must-see Christmas classic beat out not only the premiere of Jude Law's Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, but the holiday favorite outperformed the original Moana, too. The Goonies-eque Star Wars series checked in at No. 3, while all the hype surrounding Moana 2 inevitably played a part in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s first go-round as Maui landing the No. 2 slot on the Top 10.
A number of other holiday hits filled out the Top 10, such as No. 4 The Polar Express, No 5. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, No. 6 Mickey and the Very Many Christmases, and No. 8 The Santa Clause 2. Despite being known as an action star, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been part of movies from other genres, and one Christmas classic did what none of his other big hits could. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s acting career began in 1970 in the fantasy action comedy Hercules in New York, but his big break arrived in 1982 in the epic sword-and-sorcery movie Conan the Barbarian. However, he fully established himself as an action icon when he starred in James Cameron’s The Terminator in 1984.
Schwarzenegger ended up reprising his role as Terminator in all the movies in the franchise, but he has also visited other genres through the years, such as buddy comedy with Twins and superhero with Batman & Robin. In 1996, Schwarzenegger surprised the audience by starring in the Christmas family comedy Jingle All The Way, directed by Brian Levant. You will find plenty of Christmas favorites, though, including both “Home Alone” and “The Santa Clause” as well as all of their sequels (even the ones we try not to talk about).
There’s also the classic “Mickey’s Christmas Carol,” “The Muppet Christmas Carol,” and my favorite guilty pleasure Christmas movie, “Jingle All the Way.”
You can also find movies that are on the cusp of counting as Christmas fare. While we count Frozen more as a winter-season film than a holiday movie, “The Nightmare Before Christmas” is absolutely a Christmas movie.

December 1 has officially been and gone, so get your Christmas decorations up, turn on those fairy lights, and prepare for a festive movie marathon. While we all know someone that takes Christmas a bit too far, Hulu subscribers are putting even them to shame, as holiday films are already dominating the streamer's Top 10 charts. According to data from Flix Patrol, eight out of the top 10 streamed movies on Hulu this week are Christmas themed. We haven't even hit the official 12 days of Christmas yet, but audiences are already in the yuletide spirit.
Long-time fan favorite Elf holds the top spot as the most streamed movie on Hulu this week. Directed by Jon Favreau, the Will Ferrell-led comedy is an all-time classic that fans come back to year-after-year. Other notable classics also comprise the list. In third place sits National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, starring Chevy Chase and Randy Quaid. Dropping down to sixth,...

Just in time for the holiday season, Disney+ has launched a Christmas-themed streaming channel. Back in September, the platform premiered its new streaming channel function that offers a continuous stream of a specific genre, similar to traditional television. The first streaming channels were Star Wars and Marvel-themed. The Direct reports that the initial channel lineup on Disney+ is just the beginning of the live channel format on the streamer.
The new “Season’s Streamings” channel is now one of six streams available on Disney+. The channel should be streaming into at least late December, although specific timing was not released by the streamer.
Disney+ subscribers will be able to watch full-length movies as well as Christmas specials from several Disney-owned genres. It will also run holiday-themed episodes from various television series. Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye and Guardians of the Galaxy are featured on the channel. One Star Wars title is included...

Image Source: Universal Pictures Home Entertainment While Arnold Schwarzenegger is best known for his action-packed filmography, it’s easy to forget he has a knack for comedy, too. Movies like Twins, Junior, Jingle All the Way, and Kindergarten Cop proved he could flex his funny bone just as much as his biceps. And yes, we can’t help but give a wink to Batman & Robin—an unintentional comedy gem for some. Among these lighter roles, Kindergarten Cop stands out as a personal favorite for Schwarzenegger. At the time of the film’s release he said that working with the energetic and unpredictable child actors made filming the movie a blast.
