Always good to try new things. Bad Bunny made personal history for himself on Wednesday when he delivered his first speech in English at a public event.

The 28-year-old Puerto Rican superstar took the stage at the Billboard Power 100 Gala, where he was given the opportunity to present his longtime manager, Noah Assad, with a special award.

“I know my man don’t like this kind of thing, this attention, he don’t like speeches and corny s**t,” Bad Bunny said to a chorus of laughs from the crowd. “Me neither, so I will try to be fast.”

“Tonight is a special night, not because my friend Noah is winning this award. It’s more because I’m making my first English speech ever,” he joked. “Tonight is a special night because I’m giving a special award to a very special person.”

She’s credited for three multi-nominated songs, “I Like It,” “Girls Like You” and “Taki Taki.” Drake and Post Malone tie for second-most nominations with 17, Travis Scott follows with 12, the late controversial rapper XXXTentacion nabbed 10 and Ariana Grande took nine.

The 2019 Billboard Music Award nominations were announced on Thursday morning, April 4, and they’re a rap extravaganza. Hip-hop overwhelmed the field, led by Cardi B with a remarkable 21 nominations, which are the most ever by a female artist in a single year. Drake and Post Malone followed with 17 noms apiece. Dani Mathers has pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of invasion of privacy.

Last July, the Playboy model posted a photo to Snapchat of a naked woman in the locker room of an L.A. Fitness without her knowledge, with a caption that read, "If I can't unsee this, then you can't either."

The Los Angeles City Attorney's Office confirmed to Et on Wednesday that Mathers has pleaded no contest in the case and will have to perform 30 days of graffiti removal as well as serve 36 months probation. Mathers will also have to pay $60 to the victim for restitution.

Mathers' attorney, Tom Meserau, tells Et that the model is "remorseful about what happened" and that she "looks forward to a new chapter in her life."
