    interesting and powerful story

although probably better on the stage this screen adaption has a powerful intensity to it that is worth seeing. And this story of a neighbourhood more comfortable remaining silent than speaking up about a murder of a little girl, certainly deserves a bigger audience than it would get on stage.

Taking an interesting dual POV - the child's shooter (Zooman) speaking directly to camera and the neighbours and family playing out their story in a more traditional narrative style, the script highlights the twisted logic of people who know they did the wrong thing but need to justify it.

Definately worth a look and a think

    Worth every penny

I actually bought this movie in a wierd twist; Blockbuster had a $3 off sale of PVT and this movie cost $2.99. So, I actually got the movie and a penny back; Therefore, I thought this movie would be incredibly bad. But it is not. Given, the movie has the feel of a play and continually using Zooman's speaking directly at the camera to move the story on gets annoying. The movie is better at telling issues (senseless killings) then it is at moving the story on (there isn't much action or drama; mostly town bickering). Therefore, it is good yet bad. Watching the play would be better, but who is going to squabble over a penny?

    Story of the inner city.

Run if the mill inner city crime drama. Above average actors, and not a bad delivery by having the bad guy narrate. Can't pick your neighbors, and definitely cannot pick your criminals. Life is nothing but a bunch of curves, and this movie delivers a big one at the end. Never presented a final answer on who did the final deed, but instead let's the viewer decide. Worth the watch
