The late MCU star, William Hurt’s 2018 thriller, Condor, is making its way back up on the U.S. streaming charts with a renewed interest. Starring Max Irons alongside Hurt, the series is based on James Grady’s novel Six Days of the Condor and its 1975 film adaptation, Three Days of the Condor.
Created by Todd Katzberg, Jason Smilovic, and Ken Robinson, Condor had a two-season run, following a young CIA analyst, Joe Turner, who uncovers a secret plot that threatens his life and the lives of many others. However, since the second season finale in 2020, the series appeared to have found itself in limbo, with no updates about its future. And it might be the result of fans’ curiosity that Condor had once again found itself among the top 10 streaming hits on MGM+.

Thunderbolts* was a breath of fresh air for the MCU after delivering either cameo-fests or underwhelming disasters. The franchise seemed to be back to its heyday of intricate character development and classic Hollywood storytelling with the movie, though the box office numbers were not as massive for the movie.
Scarlett Johansson, who plays Black Widow in the MCU, was supposed to receive an executive producer credit but reportedly made the producers remove it. Johansson had been in a public feud with Disney over her payouts when Black Widow was released, but that was reportedly not the reason why she wanted her credit to be removed.

Scarlett Johansson is opening up about the challenges of filming a Marvel film with a large ensemble.
The actress who played Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for 11 years recently chatted with David Harbour, her co-star in 2021’s Black Widow, for Interview magazine about the difficulty of playing the same character for so many years.
“Some of the films that I did for Marvel engaged my character more than others,” Johansson admitted. “Like in Captain America: The Winter Soldier with Chris [Evans], we were really dynamic. In some of the other films, the cast was so enormous and there was so much plot to serve that you start to feel like you’re a device to move it along. And if you’re committed to five and a half months of that, it’s like, ‘Okay. I can’t paint my nails, I can’t get a haircut.’ These sound like silly problems,...

Scarlett Johansson asked that her executive producer credit be removed from “Thunderbolts*.”
In a conversation with David Harbour for Interview Magazine published Tuesday, she revealed that she had her executive producer credit taken off the film after the “Thunderbolts*” star congratulated her on it.
“It’s the opening day of a movie that basically you are the seventh Thunderbolt in,” Harbour, who plays Red Guardian in the film, said. “Your character is all over this movie … You are an executive producer on it. Congratulations.”
Johansson was quick to correct Harbour that her name is no longer attached to the movie.
“I asked to have my credit removed because I wasn’t involved,” she said.

Scarlett Johansson told David Harbour during a conversation for Interview magazine that she asked Marvel to remove her executive producer credit for “Thunderbolts*,” the tentpole that opened in theaters in May. Harbour headlined “Thunderbolts*” alongside Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Julia Louis Dreyfus and more. Harbour and Pugh originally made their MCU debuts opposite Johansson in “Black Widow.”
“It’s the opening day of a movie that basically you are the seventh Thunderbolt in. Your character is all over this movie…. You are an executive producer on it. Congratulations,” Harbour said during the chat.
“I asked to have my credit removed because I wasn’t involved,” Johansson replied, more or less suggesting that contractual reasons were why she was credited.

Scarlett Johansson first played Natasha Romanoff in 2008's Iron Man. The actor bid farewell to the role over a decade later when Black Widow sacrificed herself to help save the universe in Avengers: Endgame.
Despite that, a Black Widow movie (set between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War) followed two years later. The movie filled in some gaps in Natasha's past and gave the MCU a new Black Widow in Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova. However, it wasn't the origin story many fans had hoped for.
As for Johansson, the movie's debut on Disney+'s short-lived "Premier Access" service saw her sue Disney for the box office profits she lost out on. Ultimately, things were made right, and we learned that she would return to the MCU with an executive producer credit on Thunderbolts*.

Scarlett Johansson is one of the most important actors in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having portrayed Black Widow, aka Natasha Romanoff, on screen for over a decade. The character (spoilers?) eventually died in 2019's "Avengers: Endgame," and while Johansson returned to the role two years later in the movie "Black Widow" (which takes place before "Endgame" in the McU's timeline), she has made it clear Black Widow herself is going to stay dead. All the same, it previously appeared as though Johansson had since reunited with Marvel Studios, having landed an executive producer credit on 2025's "Thunderbolts*." However, it turns out that she tried to have that credit removed.
Johansson touched on this while speaking to "Thunderbolts*" star David Harbour, who made his MCU debut in "Black Widow," in a piece for Interview Magazine. The two spoke on the very day that "Thunderbolts*" hit theaters and had a good-natured exchange about it.

Scarlett Johansson's name was nowhere to be seen in Thunderbolts* despite a previous reveal, and the reason for that has been explained. Johansson starred in some of the McU's best movies as a staple of the Avengers and Captain America franchises. The actress got to lead a solo movie as Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before officially hanging up the costume, with Johansson having since said multiple times that chapter of her life has ended. Now, it appears the actress cemented so with a new move.
During an interview with fellow MCU star David Harbour for Interview Magazine, Scarlett Johansson revealed she asked for her Thunderbolts* Executive Producer credit to be removed. Before the film's release, it was made public that Johansson would be credited in the film despite not being part of Thunderbolts*'s star-studded cast. Black Widow star Olga Kurylenko returned as Taskmaster in Thunderbolts*, but only had a couple of scenes and a single line of dialogue before she was shot and killed by Ghost. While fans didn't care for the character all that much beforehand, most seem to agree she deserved better.
Taskmaster's costume was still a big improvement over what we saw in Black Widow, and artist Aleksi Briclot has now shared an alternate take on the one Thunderbolt who never got to become a New Avenger.
"On this one, I’ve started from her previous look, tried to keep some elements of hints and I was going for a darker BlackOps," the artist wrote on Instagram. "Trying to catch the good visual vibe for the movie after reading the script."

After quite a lot of misses and only a few hits, Thunderbolts* has successfully put the faith of the masses back into the MCU and its franchise. The movie, now known by many as The New Avengers, was a significant one.
There was a lot of hush-hush around it, even the meaning behind the asterisk attached to the name of the movie was revealed much later. But looking back now, those who have already watched the movie realize that one of the significant deaths in the movie was actually revealed by David Harbour and some of the crew during the promotional junket. Here’s what happened.

Marcus Theatres, the nation’s no. 4 chain, saw losses in the March quarter grow to $6.3 million from $5.7 million on a softer box office and higher costs before A Minecraft Movie and Sinners reignited moviegoing in April.
Revenue rose 7.5% to $87.4 million due largely to four more operating days vs the prior year period.
The company cited higher film costs as a percentage of admissions revenues and higher labor expenses vs a strike-crippled Q1 2024.
Attendance rose 7% and average ticket prices fell 5% on the impact of pricing promotions like the $7 Everyday Matinee and Value Tuesday, and an “unfavorable ticket mix” with an increased number of family films. Captain America: Brave New World, Mufasa: The Lion King, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Dog Man and Moana 2 were the top performers.
Concession revenues per customer rose 2.9%.

Thunderbolts* has already captivated the audience with its strong critical reception and ensemble of anti-heroes. Marvel fans knew the movie would deliver some unpredictable twists, but what they didn’t expect was the revelation of some major storyline that never made it to the big screen.

So, for the character of Taskmaster. But, ultimately, much of it was scrapped. Even the movie’s screenwriter was shocked to see this development.

To help further build anticipation for Thunderbolts*, Marvel Studios has deliberately kept The Sentry under wraps. We've seen the character in his shadowy Void form in trailers and TV spots, but the Golden Guardian has remained hidden.
Of course, various pieces of merchandise have already spoiled the surprise, but a leaked image seemingly reveals a first look at Lewis Pullman as the character.
It's pretty much exactly what we expected, though it doesn't feel like we're quite getting the full effect without seeing more of The Sentry's cape and the "S" logo on his belt. Marvel Studios will no doubt share an official look at Bob at some point in the coming weeks, but for now, you'll need to head to theaters this weekend to see this Thunderbolt in action.

Funko is keeping our favorite web-slinger in his iconic black suit for another month for the Marvel Selects line at Target. The last two releases have featured Spider-Man wearing variations on his symbiote suit from the comics and a memorable arc of the 1994 animated series, highlighting different takes on how the hero handled the costume. This latest Pop! comic cover figure now pays homage to a long-running comic series that reunited Peter Parker with his alien black get-up — Web of Spider-Man. Collider can offer an exclusive look at the new collectible, which specifically pulls from the cover of the volume's eighth issue, released in 1985.
Matching the art by Charles Vess, the figure is suspended upside down with his web as he swings through the city streets. The design has a vintage Spider-Man feel, with a stripped-down look reminiscent of classic Marvel Comics. Despite being the third symbiote suit figure in recent memory,...

Bill Murray has few regrets over his eventful career, but there was one potential role he says he wishes he hadn’t turned down.
The former “Saturday Night Live” star told Howard Stern that he missed the chance to do a movie with Clint Eastwood — possibly out of fear of being typecast.

Murray was coming off of making the 1981 hit comedy “Stripes,” and decided to call Eastwood and let him know he was interested.

Bill Murray is one of Hollywood's most respected actors, having made a name for himself with a plethora of hit films over the years. According to the actor himself, he doesn't have many regrets, though there remains one film he rejected in the 80s that he's still regretting today.
Murray discussed the role that got away during a recent interview on The Howard Stern Show. The Ghostbusters star remembered how in the early 80s, he was really enjoying the movies Clint Eastwood would put out. Though Eastwood's sidekicks would often get killed, they were still great parts to play, leaving Murray with a desire to team up with the Dirty Harry actor. No one expected March 26, 2025 to be a red letter date for comic book film fans, but Marvel Studios pulled a cheeky, five-and-a-half hour long PR stunt that revealed the cast list of the much-awaited Avengers: Doomsday film. Bill Murray doesn’t have many regrets about the roles he’s selected, but he is lamenting losing out on a supporting part in a Clint Eastwood film.
Murray said during “The Howard Stern Show” that he turned down an Eastwood feature after starring in 1981’s Army-based “Stripes.” While Murray did not name which Eastwood film he said no to, it seems to be 1986 war drama “Heartbreak Ridge,” in which Eastwood directed and starred in as a U.S. Marine tasked with whipping a platoon into shape. Murray explained that while he would have loved to be a “sidekick” to Eastwood’s lead, he did not want to be typecast as only doing military movies at the time.

The 1980s was a heady time that found Bill Murray first experimenting (unsuccessfully) with dramatic acting. After SNL, Caddyshack, Meatballs, and 1981's Stripes launched him into stardom, Murray took a chance with an elevated project of sorts: an adaptation of W. With the curtain soon to go up on CinemaCon, and as theaters look to add more lucrative premium formats in a still shaky market, AMC Entertainment and Cj 4Dplex have partnered on 65 premium ScreenX and 4Dx locations worldwide.
Some 40 4Dx theaters and 25 ScreenX theaters will debut across key AMC and Odeon locations across the U.S. and Europe starting this summer.
Cj 4Dplex is the leading producer of premium film formats and cinema technologies. AMC is the largest theatrical exhibitor. This is their first global partnership and will deliver the ScreenX and 4Dx experience to AMC’s U.S. locations for the first time.
For AMC, the first few theaters with ScreenX – which extends scenes onto the left and right walls of the auditorium – will open in time for the Hollywood summer blockbuster season. The first locations with 4Dx – which provides moviegoers with a multisensory cinematic presentation — are set to open in the fall. They want to complete the full rollout by 2027.
The second largest U.S. chain, Regal, is currently Cj 4Dplex’s largest partner Stateside with 52 4Dx theaters in operation as well as 52 ScreenX theaters. Regal opened its first 4Dx theater in the U.S. in 2014. Its relatively new auditorium at Times Square made Twisters in 4Dx go viral. Cj 4Dplex has 62 4Dx theaters and 29 ScreenX theaters with Regal’s sister companies Cineworld and Cci across Europe and Israel.
AMC and Cj 4Cplex currently operate six ScreenX auditoriums in Europe under the Odeon Cinemas banner. This deal will bring the total premium screen count for Cj 4Dplex to over 1,200 globally. It comes as theaters struggle to revive moviegoing from a prolonged slump that has seen premium formats over-index with ticket buyers. That’s likely to be a major topic at CinemaCon, the annual gathering of global exhibitors in Las Vegas that starts next Monday,
“This partnership with Cj 4Dplex to bring groundbreaking cinematic experiences Screenx and 4Dx to AMC moviegoers marks another major step forward in our commitment to delivering the most immersive, cutting-edge experiences to our millions of guests worldwide,” said Adam Aron, CEO of AMC, which operates 900 theaters and 10,000 screens globally.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be in business with the largest exhibitor in the world with one of the largest deals in the history of our company,” said Jun Bang, CEO of Cj 4Dplex. “This deal underscores the overwhelming growing popularity of both of our formats globally and serves as a significant milestone as the cinema industry continues to innovate and bring a differentiated entertainment product to moviegoers.”
“This partnership comes as we’ve secured our largest film slate ever for both ScreenX and 4Dx while simultaneously strengthening our relationships with filmmakers and major studios,” added Don Savant, CEO of Cj 4Dplex America.
ScreenX is a multi-projection cinema technology with an immersive 270-degree panoramic viewing experience, surrounding the audience with story-enhancing visuals that cannot be replicated at home. The innovative screen format places everyone in the auditorium directly at the center of the motion picture.
The ScreenX theaters will feature luxury recliner seating, Barco Laser, and immersive audio for an enhanced viewing experience. To date, there are over 430 Screenx auditoriums around the world in 40 countries.
4Dx allows audiences to connect with films through motion, vibration, wind, lightning, scents, and other special effects that enhance the visuals on-screen. Each 4Dx auditorium incorporates motion-based seating synchronized with more than 21 different effects and optimized by a team of skilled editors. To date, there are over 780 4Dx auditoriums around the world, spanning over 70 countries.
Upcoming titles in ScreenX and 4Dx include Warner Bros.’ A Minecraft Movie and Sinners, Marvel Studio’s Thunderbolt, Paramount Pictures’ Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Lionsgate’s Ballerina, Universal Pictures’ How To Train Your Dragon, Sony Pictures’ 28 Years Later, Warner Bros.’ F1, Universal Pictures’ Jurassic World Rebirth, Warner Bros.’ Superman, and Marvel Studio’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Cj 4Dplex is a part of the Cj Group conglomerate that also includes entertainment powerhouses Cj Cgv, the fifth largest theater chain in the world, and Cj Enm (Cj Entertainment & Media), producer of films including Parasite.

Captain America: Brave New World seems headed for a third consecutive week at the top of the box office charts. However, the superhero blockbuster's struggles continue as it comes off one of the worst second-weekend dropoffs in Marvel Cinematic Universe history.
Per Collider, Brave New World experienced a higher-than-expected dropoff during its second weekend in theaters following its Feb. 14 premiere. The Captain America follow-up grossed $88 million domestically during its opening weekend but saw a 68% second-weekend dropoff, the McU's third-largest ever. Brave New World's decline trails two notable MCU flops in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (70%) and The Marvels (79%).

Liv Tyler has officially returned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Brave New World, reprising her role as Dr. Betty Ross after more than a decade away. However, bringing her back wasn’t an easy task. Director Julius Onah recently shared how he convinced Tyler to return and why it was important to secure her involvement early in the process.
Onah explained that he personally reached out to Tyler via Zoom to discuss the project and gauge her interest. “We knew Liv was willing to come back when I had a Zoom with her. You dream these things, you work these things out, but then you just have to actually go talk to the human being,” he said.
Tyler had stepped back from acting for a while, focusing on other aspects of her life. Onah wanted to make sure she felt connected to the story and the role before committing.

Hideo Kojima has gained a reputation for joining the likes of Stephen King in sharing their opinions on new movies on social media. However, the Japanese game designer’s take onCaptain America: Brave New World has not exactly been welcomed by MCU fans who reacted to Kojima’s confusion about the movie.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has become a sprawling mass of threaded storylines, almost two decades of storytelling, and moments that may not quite make sense to those who have not seen everything the Marvel machine has to offer across TV and movies. It seems that Kojima has not been keeping up to date with Marvel Studios’ TV arm on Disney+, including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and that has led to him questioning Sam Wilson’s position in the Marvel hierarchy. Captain America: Brave New World director Julius Onah touched upon why Harrison Ford's Red Hulk doesn't talk in the project. This comes after the movie was criticized for the Red Hulk marketing for Captain America: Brave New World.
Onah brought this topic up while speaking to Collider, avouching, "Whether or not Red Hulk should talk, that was something that came up quite a bit. My feeling was that he shouldn't, which is what is the case in the movie. The transformation that Ross is dealing with and the struggle that Ross is dealing with emotionally in this film is trying to move away from what he's been known as, as Thunderbolt Ross."

Captain America: Brave New World is finally out in theaters after multiple delays and several reshoots. The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film is also surprisingly the shortest Captain America feature, clocking in at only an hour and 58 minutes. There was plenty of cut content, with several actors, such as Seth Rollins and Rosa Salazar, being cut from the movie and not appearing at all. Giancarlo Esposito was a character added in the reshoots, making it seem like Brave New World was originally a much different film. However, Liv Tyler's inclusion was an uncertain variable that ended up being a worthwhile addition to the film.

The early momentum for Captain America: Brave New World continues after a better-than-expected opening weekend for the Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbuster. Though the superhero film looks set to retain its spot at the top of the box-office charts, it's on track for a big second weekend dropoff that mirrors recent Marvel flops.
Via Deadline, Brave New World is projected to make around $30 million domestically during its second weekend in North American cinemas, good enough to help it maintain the top spot ahead of The Monkey, the new horror film by Longlegs director Oz Perkins, set for a $17 million opening. However, the fourth Captain America film, which earned $88 million during its first three days in theaters, is looking at a 65% decline at the box office from its opening weekend, slightly below the ill-fated Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (70%).

Captain America: Brave New World may not be the sure-fire hit Marvel Studios has been hoping for, but it made a splash during its four-day opening weekend at the box office. Despite its detractors, the MCU sequel made $100 million over the holiday weekend, taking advantage of Presidents' Day on Monday. It's not record-breaking by any means, especially by Marvel's ridiculously high standards, but it was a solid theatrical debut for Anthony Mackie's Captain America. However, most movies are judged at the box office according to their saying power in subsequent weeks, and it seems Brave New World might be plummeting down to earth soon.
According to Deadline, early estimates for the second weekend at the box office for Captain America: Brave New World are at just over $30 million. Unless there is a major upset, it will remain at the top of the domestic box office, beating out Neon's horror comedy The Monkey,...

The superhero blockbuster also secures a new milestone for Mackie as he surpasses an action movie icon thanks to the film's strong opening weekend.
Per Collider, Mackie now ranks 88th on the all-time box office list thanks to Brave New World's better-than-expected opening weekend return of $88 million domestically and over $180 million worldwide. Mackie's films have now made over $4.5 billion globally, which is a higher tally than that of the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger. He's also surpassed actors such as Seth Rogen, Shia Labeouf, Channing Tatum and Jude Law on the list. Mackie's films have now made over $4.5 billion globally, which is a higher tally than that of the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger. He's also surpassed actors such as Seth Rogen, Shia Labeouf, Channing Tatum and Jude Law on the list. Mackie's features in several MCU films have helped his box-office haul, including the last two Captain America sequels and three Avengers entries.

Captain America: Brave New World recently landed in theaters, and fan reactions have been rather positive. The film’s Tomatometer on Rotten Tomatoes might be at 50% with critics, but its Popcornmeter currently sits much higher at 80%, which is arguably a better reflection of the film’s allure. Following the conclusion of the Disney+ series, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) has officially taken on the role of Captain America. Alongside his pal, Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez), who has taken on the mantle of the Falcon, Sam soon finds himself in the middle of a developing international crisis.

Captain America: Brave New World has been released, and the reaction is certainly not what Marvel Studios was hoping for. The movie scored a 51% rotten rating on Rotten Tomatoes and landed the worst CinemaScore in the entire MCU with a B- minus. Despite some positives, including Anthony Mackie stepping into his role as Captain America, strong performances by legendary actors like Carl Lumbly and Harrison Ford, and a star-making supporting role for Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, the film has a lot of issues.
From some relatively poor green screen work done on scenes in reshoots to entire elements being thrown out, including the original design of The Leader, Captain America: Brave New World is one of...

Marvel fans had high expectations of Captain America: Brave New World, imagining a triumphant new chapter in the franchise following last summer’s Deadpool & Wolverine that would anchor Anthony Mackie as the shield-wielding hero for the next several years. However, the release of the movie’s CinemaScore has Hulk-smashed the Avenger’ first solo movie as the leader of Earth’s mightiest heroes.
The Captain America mantle has boasted an impressive history of positive audience ratings. The First Avenger achieved an A- from CinemaScore, while The Winter Soldier and Civil War maintained similarly high marks. Now, Brave New World has not only proved to be the lowest rated Captain America movie, but has achieved the lowest score of the entire MCU with a disappointing B- result.

Spoilers: This post contains details about Captain America: Brave New World
Although Captain America: Brave New World has hit theaters during a particularly divisive time for the United States, those behind the MCU sequel would ask fans not to read too much into it.
During Tuesday’s world premiere in Hollywood, star Anthony Mackie and director Julius Onah spoke to Deadline about offering audiences an “escape” with the fourth Captain America film, which sees Mackie’s Sam Wilson achieve the “American Dream” in taking over the shield from Steve Rogers (Chris Evans).
“I think the great thing about this movie is, Marvel gave us the best script with the best cast, with the best team, to make the best movie we could. And I’m proud of it,” said Mackie. “I’m proud of who Sam Wilson has become in this universe, and watching him grow from a guy who...

Captain America: Brave New World marks director Julius Onah's fourth time directing a feature-length project, putting the relatively unheralded filmmaker among some top Hollywood veterans. Onah credits one of those veterans, acclaimed actor Harrison Ford, for making his experience worthwhile, claiming that meeting him remains a "pinch me moment" he'll always cherish.
During an interview with Deadline, Onah delved into his collaboration with Ford on Brave New World as they carved out Ford's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as U.S. President Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross/Red Hulk. The Nigerian-American filmmaker recalled watching Ford in Indiana Jones films as a child and in Clear and Present Danger after moving to the U.S., never thinking he'd have the opportunity to work with someone like him on a major production.

Captain America: Brave New World sees the return of an Og Marvel Cinematic Universe actor who returns to the fold for the first time since the McU's early stages. The Incredible Hulk star Liv Tyler describes her "perfect" comeback after her extended absence from Hollywood and excitement to see Betty Ross back on-screen.
Speaking with Extra at Brave New World's Los Angeles premiere, Tyler recalled how she was convinced to make her MCU return in the Captain America sequel, playing the daughter of new U.S. President Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross. According to Tyler, she was "very touched" when Marvel president Kevin Feige contacted her about playing Ross for the first time since The Incredible Hulk in 2008. "I got a phone call saying, '[Marvel Studios President] Kevin Feige wants to speak to you,'" Tyler said. "I said, 'Well, doesn't he want to see me? It's been a long time!

The following contains spoilers for Captain America: Brave New World, now playing in theaters.
One of the most alluring aspects of Captain America: Brave New World is the debut of Harrison Ford's Thaddeus Ross. Ford is taking over from the late William Hurt, and brings a sense of intimidation to the role that fans of Han Solo and Indiana Jones will enjoy.
His addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe did raise eyebrows due to his position. Ross went from being a military general to President of the United States. That's a huge promotion, especially for a man who committed disgraceful acts in the past. It had viewers keen to see if there would be revisionist history,...

Captain America: Brave New World hopes to shield itself from the recent negativity surrounding it and flourish in its opening weekend. However, Thursday previews of the superhero blockbuster could add to the bad press as they trail its ill-fated Marvel Cinematic Universe counterpart, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Per Deadline, Brave New World earned $12 million domestically in preview screenings on Feb. 13. Though its previews are higher than a previous Captain America entry, The Winter Soldier ($10.2 million). Brave New World's returns are lower than Quantumania ($17.5 million), which went on to a $120.3 million domestic debut during its Presidents' Day weekend premiere. Brave New World is projected to fall well below what Quantumania earned during its first weekend in theaters, set to make around $80 million in its first three days and $95 million during its first four.

After several delays, Captain America: Brave New World has finally opened, with Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) taking over from Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), who retired at the end of Avengers: End Game. And the film is starting to lay the groundwork for the next round of MCU movies, including the X-Men.
In the film, there is an answer to one of the biggest questions on the minds of fans - and MCU producers - what happened to the Celestial being called Tiamut, which, in the film Eternals (2021), was beginning to hatch from Earth? As seen in the move, Sersei (Gemma Chan) transformed Tiamut into marble, saving the planet, but now the remains are currently in the Indian Ocean. As different countries began studying Tiamut, the Japanese discovered adamantium and quickly learned it's more powerful than vibranium, which is found in Wakanda.
