Sebastian Barry's novel The Secret Scripture has already had a spell of success and attention, winning awards and shortlisted for the Man Booker prize in 2008. Now it's set to return to the limelight with a film adaptation starring Jessica Chastain and Vanessa Redgrave. My Left Foot's Noel Pearson is producing, and after a few months of searching, the film now finally has a director in Thaddeus O'Sullivan.A cinematographer by original trade, O'Sullivan made his debut as a director with the 1991 drama December Bride. He's since made Nothing Personal, Ordinary Decent Criminal, The Heart Of Me and, most recently, 2011's Stella Days. He's also directed regularly for television, most notably with HBO's Emmy-winning 2009 TV-movie Into The Storm.The Secret Scripture sees Chastain playing the young Redgrave, since the novel concentrates on two separate points in the life of Roseanne McNulty. ['The Good Wife' - 'The Death Zone']

Not sure if I had too high expectations because Eddie Izzard was guest starring or the fact the lawyers were navigating foreign legal waters, but whatever it was, I was let down. This was not the most engaging or entertaining episode of the 'The Good Wife.'

With Alicia starting out saying "Nothing personal, but I have to rip your friend apart," I was expecting to be blown away, especially because the heroes of the story were in a foreign court.

The second episode of Season 2, 'Double Jeopardy,' saw Will and Alicia in military court and it was one of the best of the year. By displaying their weaknesses and savvy legal skills at the same time, it showed what these characters are made of. Did that happen in 'The Death Zone'? Not so much.

Naruto Uzumaki is back in “Naruto Shippuden.” The plucky young ninja from the hidden leaf village has returned from over two years of training with one of the legendary Sannin, Jiraiya. Naruto is stronger, wiser and older. Well, not really older. Naruto may visually be going through puberty, but his voice is one hundred percent the same as when he left. So, instead of hearing a mature teenage boy’s voice of about fifteen years, you will still hear the Maile Flanagan. Nothing personal against Ms. Flanagan, but the tone of her voice bears a sharp contrast to Junko Takeuchi, who does the Japanese voice over. So, yesterday in another seismic shakeup on the comics scene, Warner Bros. rebranded DC Comics as DC Entertainment, installed a new President (Diane Nelson, studio expert on all things J.K. Rowling) and waved goodbye to longtime Man-in-Charge, Publisher Paul Levitz. He’ll still be around, consulting, editing and writing.

This, of course, isn’t as Earth-shattering as last week’s Disney Buys Marvel comics crossover event (though which are the Skrulls and who are the Zombies in that deal has yet to be determined). Still, it’s a Crisis On Infinite Earths kind of company-wide event, because one key man, somebody who knew where all the bodies were buried (not the least because he buried some of them there himself), will be absent from Monitoring daily business at the House That Superman & Batman Built.

Their performance was shot in New York City, and had the band take their normally high-energy performance down a notch in the candle-lit studio for some fans who sung along with the band. The top 10 of Billboard's albums chart is littered with names you know by now — Eminem, the Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, the Jonas Brothers — but there's also one the average record buyer might not. Lodged at #4 on the chart, having sold nearly 63,000 copies of their Nothing Personal album, is All Time Low.

Yes, the punky quartet from the suburbs of Baltimore shocked music fans by debuting at #4 on the chart, because while plenty of people were expecting big things from their new album, no one thought they'd go this big.

No one except the dudes in All Time Low, that is. See, even from Nothing Personal's earliest days, they knew they had a huge record on their hands — so huge they didn't even need...

Much like Altman's Gosford Park, the interesting component of this exercise is to witness firsthand how gossip spreads like wildfire, once it is out of control the foreground is filled with victims. Unfortunately, Gokalp is working with a well-mannered chaos here and the characters aren't unhinged or strung out enough to make each repeated viewing all the more alluring. Thankfully, Nothing Personal contains a guessing game of sorts – figuring out the true puppet-master of the evening ends up being the only fun. It's a moderately amusing film for adult audiences but not incendiary enough about the company downsizing theme it entertains....

You might not have noticed, given that it happened on in the shadow of the Michael Jackson memorial service, but on Tuesday, All Time Low released their much-anticipated new album, Nothing Personal.

This is clearly a big moment — not just for the band, who are looking to chuck the whole "haircut band" yoke they've been burdened with — but for the "scene" too. Of course, if you ask Atl frontman Alex Gaskarth about either of those things, he'll give you the same response: The label that critics stick on his band and the very scene in which his band exists are mostly Bs.

All Time Low snatched Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy and Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 to make cameos in their latest music video, "Weightless". The band also invited fans to participate in the video by being the crowd at the live show scene.

The video is wrapped in an interesting concept of showing someone's true intention written on the back of the head. Pete, in black hood, tweeted to Mark saying that Atl are a rip-off to Fob, but Mark answered "Both Atl and Fob rip-off Blink-182". There's also another reference to Fob in the middle of the video where a guy wearing a "Fall Out Boy" shirt is saying "I'd rather be watching Fob" in the back of his mind.

The music video which is directed by Matthew Stawski, was premiered on MTV just a day before the album's released. The band are dropping their third studio album "Nothing Personal" in U.

Hopeless Records announced that on June 30th, MTV.com was the first place fans were able to stream All Time Low.s new album, the anticipated Nothing Personal, in its entirety. Alright Fango Fiends, it's time for another installment of Fangoria's Lists Of Doom - the column where we track down some of your favorite (or soon-to-be favorite) bands to get their thoughts on on the world of horror.

As a Memorial Day-weekend treat (and to celebrate "lucky 13" here on 'Lists), we caught up with Bubble, the bassist for Bury Your Dead, a band we've dug for a long time, and one we think you'll dig too. Their latest album, It's Nothing Personal arrives in-stores this Tuesday, so it seemed like a perfect time to talk some horror.

• T minus one and counting...I've narrowed it down to a "must see" 33 with about 7 spots open picking between films that I have little or not much interest in. I'll spend the later portion of tonite contemplating what those holes in the sched might accomodate, but the best part of picking up the badge early this morning, is grabbing a slick copy of the official guide listing all the films playing at the festival (Director's Fortnight edition will probably be waiting for me in my mailbox tomorrow) and I'll then I can worry about the coverage and not what to cover. I've sectioned off the list by section below -- it looks like despite the huge number of films I want to see form the Main Comp, that I will be up and down the Croisette - the Espace Miramar has a trio of titles that I'm very interested in seeing.

Paris -- First-time directors will be center stage at this year's 48th annual International Critics Week, where eight of nine announced competition titles will be up for the Camera d'Or.

As previously announced, first-time filmmaker Mathias Gokalp's "Rien de Personnel" (Nothing Personal) will open the Festival de Cannes sidebar. And fellow French filmmaker Nassim Amaouche will screen his dark drama "Adieu Gary," which stars actor-director Jean-Pierre Bacri alongside Dominique Reymond, Yasmine Belmadi, Sabrina Ouazani and Mahmed Arezki.

"It's been an extraordinary year for French cinema. We couldn't have done it any other way," Critics Week artistic director Jean-Christophe Berjon said. "This is the first time there have been so many great French titles to choose from for as long as I've been doing this. It's just great!"

Vladimir Perisic will present his directorial debut, "The Ordinary People," a Franco-Serbian co-production about how ordinary men can turn into monsters.
