Jim Cummings in Taz-Mania (1991)

Trivia

Taz-Mania

Edit
All 65 episodes were produced between 1991-1993, but 26 were not aired by Fox until the 1994-1995 season.
Taz could talk normally in season 1 episode 13b and 14b, season 2 episode 1&2, and season 4 episode 19.
The name of minor character of Francis X. Bushlad is a reference to "King of The Movies", Francis X. Bushman.
The voice and characterization of Taz's father, Hugh Tazmanian Devil, is based on Bing Crosby. Hugh's brother, Drew Tazmanian Devil, is based on Bob Hope, Crosby's co-star in the "Road to..." comedy films. Both Hugh and Drew are voiced by Maurice LaMarche.
Several characters in this Tasmanian Devil-centric spin-off show bear some resemblance to familiar Looney Tunes characters. The Platypus Brothers in some ways resemble Daffy Duck, both in their duck-billed appearance and in their lispy speech. Wendal T. Wolf has a similar physical appearance to Wile E. Coyote and Ralph Wolf. Buddy Boar's blue jacket and no-pants look achieves a similar aesthetic as his porcine brethren Porky Pig. The speechless Keewee bird can run at incredible speeds, like the Road Runner.
