The Challenge Season 41 filming is underway for MTV episodes, with daily challenges and eliminations.

While the upcoming season’s title and format are unknown, online spoilers reveal which cast members are competing and headed home after the eliminations.

In Season 40, viewers saw a Battle of the Eras theme featuring only veteran cast members who have appeared in multiple seasons of the show.

Some were multi-time champions looking to add to their resumes. That was the case for the season winners Jordan Wiseley, Jenny West, and Rachel Robinson, who added another win to their career achievements.

Season 41 appears to have a much different theme from Season 40 because there are 16 rookies and 16 vets. As of this writing, at least two vets and one rookie are out of the competition.

As first reported by TMZ, the 36-year-old Raines was charged with one count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, one count of reckless operation and four counts of negligent injuring. After a tumultuous return to MTV’s The Challenge, another one of Laurel Stucky’s Season 40 castmates suggests she might be the problem.

Season 40, known as Battle of the Eras, featured 40 of The Challenge’s iconic stars from various eras of the competition series.

Laurel appeared as one of the 10 members of the Era 2 team, which also featured her friend-turned-rival, Cara Maria Sorbello, and seven-time winner Johnny Bananas.

While she looked to be a frontrunner for another Challenge win after her dominant performance on the All Stars 4 spinoff, various altercations plagued Laurel’s MTV season.

Among them were spats with castmates Darrell Taylor, Emily Schrom, and Cara, the latter of which erupted into a heated incident and involved some moments with sensitive remarks that never aired.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spinoff is getting an all-new cast after the show’s “Scandoval” cheating scandal. Raise your hand if you have no idea what I’m talking about. Well, that makes two of us. However, after doing some research, it turns out that, during Season 10, the show’s events revealed that Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss engaged in an illicit relationship. Another cast member, Ariana Madix, tried to defend Sandoval but was ultimately deceived. Instead of picking up the pieces, Vanderpump Rules is wiping the slate clean for Season 12, inviting new cast members to the table.

One of the former stars of The Real World is now going to be in charge of transportation in Donald Trump's cabinet. Sean Duffy, who went on to be a Fox News Business host, was nominated as the man in charge of The Department of Transportation under the new Trump administration. Duffy was a part of The Real World: Boston though he met his wife, Rachel Campos-Duffy (who was a contestant on The Real World: San Francisco) during their time together on Road Rules: All Stars on MTV. Since, the two have been conservative talking heads on Fox News prior to Duffy's new appointment.

President-elect Donald Trump continues to announce comically terrible cabinet picks seemingly plucked out of half-remembered TV listings from 2013. Now he’s added Dr. Mehmet Oz to a lineup that already includes Fox News hosts Sean Duffy (formerly of The Real World) and Pete Hegseth, as well as WWE co-founder Linda McMahon.

Dr. Oz has been tapped to lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, a decision that’s led a lot of folks online to make jokes comparing Trump’s pick to another famous TV quack: Dr. Nick Riviera.

But that’s not exactly a fair comparison — to Dr. Nick, that is.

Sure, Dr. Nick’s not perfect. He lost his watch during an operation, dispenses opioids from a Pez dispenser, once stole cadavers in order to drive in the carpool lane and surgically swapped poor Mr. McGreg’s arm and leg.

But Dr. Nick may just be a better physician than Dr.

Jimmy Kimmel commented on Donald Trump’s nomination of former Fox Business host Sean Duffy for secretary of transportation during his Tuesday night monologue, calling it “one of his least embarrassing picks.”

Though Duffy served as a U.S. representative for Wisconsin from 2011 to 2019, he started his career in the ’90s as a reality star, which Kimmel was quick to point out.

“Duffy served in Congress for eight years, but you know what he did before that? He was on ‘The Real World’ and ‘Road Rules’ on MTV,” Kimmel said. “[Trump] hired the guy from ‘Road Rules’ to be secretary of transportation, because of course he did — the word ‘road’ is right in there.”

Kimmel continued, “And that’s one of his least embarrassing picks. Maybe he’ll pick one of the Teen Moms to be secretary of labor!”

The President-elect announced on Tuesday that he will nominate Dr. Mehmet Oz to be the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (Cms) Administrator. Oz will still need to be confirmed by the Senate before assuming the cabinet position.

President-Elect Donald Trump's surprising cabinet picks have dominated the news cycle this week among the latest is reality TV star Sean Duffy, who came to fame on MTV's The Real World.

Although it is true that Sean Duffy was a cast member on The Real World, he has actually had an extensive career in politics in the intervening years.

Moreover, Trump famously appointed another reality television personality to his administration during his first term: Omarosa Manigault Newman, who was known for her stint on The Apprentice.

Omarosa worked on his campaign before his election, and in September 2016, she said of then-candidate Trump:

"Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump. It's everyone who's ever doubted Donald, whoever disagreed, whoever challenged him. It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe."

Even in todays environment where any piece of vintage content seen by more than 12 people is considered reboot-worthy, the 1991 comedy Dont Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead is an odd movie to revisit. Thats because the film was riffing off the then-recent phenomenon of the latchkey kid Christina Applegate played a 17-year-old forced to care for her four siblings when their mother goes on vacation and their babysitter dies.

Sean Duffy is entering the real world of Washington D.C., with Donald Trump tapping the Fox Business host and former Representative of Wisconsin to be his nominee as his secretary of transportation. Duffy would replace Pete Buttigieg, who was selected by sitting President Biden to lead the department under his administration.

Duffy represents a double-dip into the bin of Fox personalities for Trump. The President-elect had previously announced that “Fox & Friends Weekend” co-host Pete Hegseth would be appointed secretary of defense. Unlike Hegseth, Duffy has legislative experience, having served as a U.S. Representative from 2011 to 2019. He resigned in 2019 for personal reasons, disclosing that his newborn daughter had been diagnosed with a heart defect.

Prior to his 2010 campaign for the House of Representatives, Duffy had been appointed the District Attorney of Ashland County in Wisconsin in 2002.

Donald Trump has gone to the Fox News well yet again, tapping the Fox Business host to be his nominee for secretary of transportation.

Duffy, a former congressman, is the co-host of Fox Business’ The Bottom Line and is a contributor to the news network. He also was a cast member on a season of The Real World.

Trump said in a statement that Duffy “will prioritize Excellence, Competence, Competitiveness and Beauty when rebuilding America’s highways, tunnels, bridges and airports. He will ensure our ports and dams serve our Economy without compromising our National Security, and he will make our skies safe again by eliminating Dei for pilots and air traffic controllers.”

Duffy is married to Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy. A co-host of that show, Pete Hegseth, was nominated by Trump last week to serve as secretary of defense.
