The art of seduction is no joke. Three women in dominatrix costumes reportedly persuaded Nova Mutum public prison guards in Brazil to let them in for some drinking and naughty role play around 3 a.m. on Thursday. But what these prison wards didn't know was that they were actually pawns in a ploy to help 28 inmates escape! The guards brought the seducers to their sleeping quarters, where the women drugged them with spiked whiskey, according to the Telegraph. They then stripped and handcuffed the men, investigators said, stole their master keys and unlocked every cell. "The plan was to seduce them," Police Chief Angelina de Andrades Ferreira said at a news conference. "Whoever wanted...

Master Spy Sterling Archer is dashing, dangerous, drunken, and overly educated? Archer is a rare gem among American animated television shows. Not only does it contain the foul-mouthed adolescent sex humour we have come to love, but also blends in seamlessly obscure literary references with subtle dialogue or the occasional heavy handed over explanation. Agent Sterling Archer proves in each dangerous Isis orchestrated mission that he has not only intensely studied The Art of Seduction and the Kama Sutra, but many other great works of literary genius as well.
While “literally” every episode contains some reference to literature or literary concepts, we have narrowed the list down to ten obscure fan favorites. We have also included which episode the reference can be found in for quick reference when one needs to wow their friends with a blend of television and literary knowledge.

As a smooth-talking, ruthless bounty hunter in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, Christoph Waltz could seemingly charm his way through any prickly situation. The actor, who hosts Saturday Night Live this week, uses his powers of persuasion to attract women in his new dating self-help series, The Art of Seduction With Christoph Waltz, which he unveiled Wednesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live! No, he is not serious. Yes, he is clearly spoofing Neil Strauss' The Game, a manual for men lacking any game. "Your perfume is lovely, might that be Shalimar?" Waltz, a best supporting actor Oscar nominee for Django,

The new Film Quarterly is out and, of the four pieces online, the standout for me is Caetlin Benson-Allott's: "Since Marey's motion studies at the end of the 19th century, film has been a tool for providing visible evidence, a record of things seen. The development of digital imaging technology over the past twenty years has transformed that original empirical function. Advancements in CGI enable convincing depictions of things impossible to see in everyday life: dinosaurs, hobbits, viruses. It has become necessary to speak of 'hypervisibility' to describe the way movies can realistically render such previously hard-to-envision phenomena. Steven Soderbergh's Contagion tries to contest this prevailing logic by insisting on the limits of visibility."

London, United Kingdom (Ahn Entertainment) - The see-through dress that helped Kate Middleton to catch the eye of Prince William has been sold for over 5,000. The lingerie-style dress, which was originally meant to be a skirt by designer Charlotte Todd, was auctioned off at the Kerry Taylor Auctions Passion for Fashion sale in London Thursday.
The future princess was a student at St. Andrews University in 2002 when she wore the sheer piece for a school fashion show. That was believed to be the instant when William, also a student at the university, was captivated by the brunette beauty.
Todd, 31, told People magazine that she made the dress as part of her university coursework, calling it "'The Art of Seduction,' which is quite apt. I didn't know who Kate Middleton was and I didn't put her in it. It was just pure chance!"

The see-through dress that is said to have sparked the royal romance of the century has gone under the hammer. The sheer number that Kate Middleton wore in a 2002 St. Andrews University fashion show sold at auction in London Thursday for a staggering £78,000 (or $125,884). At the Kerry Taylor Auctions Passion for Fashion sale, the lingerie-style dress - which cost less than $50 to make and was originally intended as a skirt - was displayed among haute couture dresses worn by Princess Diana and lingerie from the Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson's closet. But thanks to its wearer, the skimpy little black...

Kate Middleton’s catwalk dress sold for a whopping $125,884 at the Kerry Taylor Auction. Beat that Justin Bieber! Kate wore the sheer sexy dress over a swimsuit back in 2002 at the St. Andrews University fashion show. The dress was designed by Charlotte Todd for her university coursework reportedly cost less than $50 to make. Charlotte Todd told People Magazine that her assignment "was called 'The Art of Seduction,' which is quite apt, really. I didn't know who Kate Middleton was and I didn't put her in it. There's really no reason to assume that Lost Boys: The Thirst will be any good. Not after the debacle of The Tribe, anyway. But I was sold by the trailer that promises the return of the Frog Brothers, and if it can deliver on its promise of the further adventures of these vampire hunters, well, I'll be a satisfied customer.

Michael Ian Black may not work for the U.S. government, but if he did, he knows what he would want to name the next hurricane that shows up, and he thinks that Hurricane Earl is far too tame of a title. Marlon Wayans had disasters on his mind, too, and sent some sleepless Twitter love out to Pakistan and the miners trapped in Chile.

The Japanese crime novel “Byakuyako” by author Higashino Keigo’s gets its second screen outing with the Korean film “White Night”, having already been adapted for a 2006 domestic television drama. This cinematic version of the dark, harrowing tale of murder and abuse marks the debut of Korean director Park Shin Woo, and stars popular and acclaimed actress Son Ye Jin (also in the likes of “A Moment to Remember” and “The Art of Seduction”) and television actor Ko Su (“Will It Snow For Christmas?”) in the lead roles, with support from Han Suk Kyu (An Eye for an Eye) and Lee Min Jung (“Searching for the Elephant”). The film gets off to a hard hitting start, intercutting between a sex scene featuring the beautiful Mi Ho (Son Ye Jin) and her fiancé, and shots of a young man called Yo Han (Ko Su) committing a brutal murder. Although these two characters and scenes seem unconnected,...
