The film was nominated for Best Story at the 37th Filmfare Awards.
Yagneesh Shetty composed all the stunts in the film but did not get any credit. The reason being was Yagneesh did not hold a official certificate/card that the Fight Masters Association give to fight choreographers in the Bombay film industry. The rule is one must work 10 years as an assistant before you can get a card. Yagnessh there for did not qualify for one. Shyam Kaushal took all the credit for Yagneesh's work.
The lead actors of the film Madhuri Dixit,Dimple Kapadia and Nana Patekar did not apply any make up in the film.
