Amy Winehouse has been found not guilty of assaulting dancer Sherene Flash. A spokesman for the 25-year-old singer said: "Amy would like to thank her family, friends and legal team for their support during this difficult time. She's always maintained her innocence and is very happy to move on with her life and put the episode behind her."
On Thursday, Amy told the courtroom she had only pushed Sherene away from her at the Berkeley Square Ball because she felt "intimidated" after the burlesque dancer "lunged" at her for a photograph.

A "used to be" famous person once told me: "When you go from somebody to anybody, it's the same as being nobody." If that's true, then imagine what it's like when you go from "somebody" to being laughed at as a freak. I wonder what the toll on someone's peace of mind, subsequent stress level and need to take meds to deal with it would be when a world that used to idolize you ridicules you as a screwball. In Hamlet Shakespeare wrote that: "The lady doth protest too much." It's understandable that the untimely death of the "King of Pop" would generate such an emotional reaction since Michael Jackson's life, accomplishments and setbacks have occurred alongside our own. I just wonder how much of the outpouring that we see and that we may feel coming from within ourselves...

Pellicano Pleads Not Guilty To Reporter Threats
Shamed Hollywood private investigator Anthony Pellicano has entered a not guilty plea over claims he threatened a Los Angeles Times journalist who reported on one of his clients.
Pellicano, along with revered Hollywood lawyer Terry Christensen, were convicted last year of breaking the law while acting for high-profile clients.
The detective was convicted of wiretapping and Christensen was found guilty of aiding and abetting a wiretap. He was sentenced to three years in jail in November while Pellicano started a 15-year stretch behind bars a month later.
And on Wednesday the disgraced detective was up in front of a Los Angeles judge again for allegedly hiring Alexander Proctor to threaten L.A. Times' Anita Busch.
Prosecutors told the court that in 2002, Proctor - on Pellicano's orders - had placed a dead fish with a rose in its mouth on the bonnet of Busch's car, put a bullet-sized hole in her windshield, and wrote a note saying 'Stop'.
Both men pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy and making criminal threats.
The incident allegedly occurred after Busch wrote about the financial woes of Hollywood agent Michael Ovitz - one of Pellicano's powerful clients at the time.

Michael Lohan Pleads Not Guilty To Threat Accusations
Lindsay Lohan's father Michael is confident a charge of aggravated harassment filed against him will soon be dismissed after pleading not guilty to the crime.
Michael Lohan was arrested last month amid claims he threatened to kill his on/off fiancee Erin Muller during a March phone call when she tried to end their relationship.
The born-again Christian appeared in court in Central Islip, Long Island earlier this week (begs25May09) to enter his plea.
A spokesman for the Suffolk County District Attorney says, "He allegedly called Erin Muller on the telephone and stated in sum and substance that he would kill her and himself if Erin Muller left him."
But Lohan insists he will soon be in the clear because Muller no longer wants to pursue legal action.
He tells E! News, "By no means did I threaten to cause harm to Erin or myself... As a matter of fact, Erin even told the court that she didn't want to pursue anything. It's all going to be dropped."
Lohan remains free on his own recognisance and is due back in court on 10 June.

Jones Found Not Guilty
British tough guy Vinnie Jones has been found not guilty of assault in a South Dakota courthouse.
The former soccer star-turned-actor was charged with three simple assaults after fighting with Juan Trevino-Barrera in a bar last December.
Security footage showed the Snatch star attacking Trevino-Barrera after another Wiley Tavern local smashed a beer glass in his face.
Jones, 44, needed medical attention after the bar brawl, which left him with 48 stitches in his face.
Shortly before the jury's speedy verdict on Friday, the movie star testified, stating he was "driven by fear" during the fight.
Barrera testified that the attack was unprovoked, but Jones' legal team argued their client acted in self-defence.
The actor was in South Dakota as part of a pheasant hunting party. Jones said he was at the bar signing autographs and posing for photographs with locals when the fight broke out.

Charges against the trio were filed in March following a two-year investigation by California's Attorney General.

The two doctors face an additional charge of obtaining a prescription for opiates by fraud, deceit or misrepresentation and prescribing opiates by giving a false name or address.

Charges against the trio were filed in March following a two-year investigation by California's Attorney General.
They have been accused of conspiring to keep Smith stocked up with a steady supply of prescription drugs including methadone, clonazepam and chloral hydrate - despite knowing she was an addict.
The two doctors face an additional charge of obtaining a prescription for opiates by fraud, deceit or misrepresentation and prescribing opiates by giving a false name or address.
An 8 June court date has been issued to determine when a preliminary hearing will begin, though defence attorneys have filed a motion asking the case be thrown out.
Stern, Kapoor and Eroshevich face up to 33 years behind bars if found guilty of all charges.
Smith died of an accidental overdose in a Florida hotel room, aged 39.
