Mr-9: Do or Die is based on the first of a long-running series of mostly ghost-written novels chronicling the adventures of Masud Rana, Bangladesh’s answer to James Bond. Somewhat surprisingly given there are 500 or so novels in the franchise, this is only the second attempt at bringing them to the screen, the first being Masud Rana in 1974. Fifty years later, will the world be more receptive to the Bangladeshi Bond?

The film certainly starts on a familiar note with Rana running unnoticed across wide open lawns in broad daylight without being noticed. Despite his best efforts and his leaving a trail of bodies behind him, his target gets away and the two agents he was supposed to rescued are killed.

Kannan Iyer‘s sophomore, Ae Watan Mere Watan, currently streaming on Prime Video, narrates the tale of a courageous young girl in pre-independent India when the British government controlled all the newspapers and private radio stations. It was done with the sole intention of manipulating the perceptions of the Indians to suit their cruel and deceptive agenda. Most of the freedom fighters and political leaders were in jail. Those who were not arrested went underground. The situation was both intimidating and dangerous, and the government has partially curbed the freedom movement. In response to this despot approach, the protagonist and her friends embark on a bold endeavor. They aim to inspire and unite fellow Indians in their struggle against the empire and liberate the nation from the fetters of slavery. While the premise holds promise, the film serves as another example where a potential concept doesn’t always ensure an equally engaging output.

Big Brother 25 houseguest Cameron Hardin became the first member of the jury weeks ago, and therefore can't win the whole game, but Cameron deserves to win the $50,000 America's Favorite Houseguest prize. Cameron, a 34-year-old stay-at-home dad from Eastman, Georgia, played the game for 72 days. He made it to day 51 when he was unanimously evicted, but then returned to the house as a Big Brother Zombie. After a week as a Zombie, Cameron resurrected his game by winning competitions, and managed to stay in the house for two more weeks.

Throughout Big Brother 25, Cameron was known for having fun by causing chaos.

Guitar virtuoso Sophie Lloyd, known for her huge social media presence and as a member of Machine Gun Kelly’s touring band, will release her debut solo album, Imposter Syndrome, on November 10th. In advance of the LP, Lloyd has unveiled the music video for the title track, which is a rousing metal anthem featuring vocals and lyrics from Lzzy Hale of Halestorm.

The music video features Lloyd showing off her intense guitar chops, while Hale belts out vocals in a fiery presence.

“Working with Lzzy was honestly a dream come true for me,” Lloyd said in a statement. “I’ve been a fan of hers for years growing up, and when I decided to do a collaborative album, her name was the first one that came to mind. She did such an incredible job at taking such a personal thing and making a song that conveys all the emotion I have felt for years.

It’s crazy to think that two weeks ago when we published our first “Big Brother 25” power rankings of the season at the Top 11 we were facing a double eviction. But here we are refreshing those thoughts with 10 players still in the house and one hoping to not be the last evicted pre-jury. Since the last time we checked in, Cameron Hardin has gone from backdoor evictee to Bb Zombie to “Do or Die” winner to Head of Household for the third time. The latest Survivor twist will likely be remembered as a low point for the show. The series' current installment has introduced many new twists into the game. While some twists have worked, many of them, including the, "Hourglass Twist" and, "Do or Die," have led to intense backlash from players and fans.

The latest twist appeared in Survivor season 44, episode 7. Following the "Earn the Merge" round, the merged castaways were forced to randomly divide into two groups for an individual endurance immunity challenge. However, the last person remaining in the challenge from each team won individual immunity, with the last player standing winning immunity for their entire tribe. The teams were then sent to two separate camps, with the winning team only being able to observe the losers' Tribal Council. The exception was one winning player, who found an advantage that gave her the opportunity to control a losing player's vote.

When Survivor returned to air following a 16-month post-pandemic delay, it ushered in a brand new, twist-tastic era: A 26-day game, more diverse casting and smaller tribes weren’t even the half of it. But when Season 43 kicks off Wednesday, Sept. 21 (at 8/7c on CBS), viewers and its castaways are in for some big changes.

Michael Scott can always make me laugh.  The overall concept of an episode of The Office, along the rest of the cast?  They can be hit or miss.  This week's episode, "Sex Ed," was a miss.

Michael contracted Herpes, which branched the episode into story A and story B, neither of which had me jumping for joy.  In story A, Michael and Dwight went roaming around Scranton to tell his old flames they might have the Std.  Not one of the face-to-face encounters was funny.  Michael had a couple good one-liners in there, but the meetings themselves left a lot to be desired.

Michael's phone conversation with Holly, on the other hand, was classic.  It was exactly why I loved when Amy Ryan was on the show, and it's exactly why I want her to come back before Steve Carrell leaves at the end of this season.
