Bolo Yeung demanded that the shooting of the film be delayed 6 months so he could grow a ponytail. The producers were so intimidated by him that they agreed. While Bolo was waiting for his hair to grow he worked as a consultant on 3 Ninjas Kick Back and Kindergarten Ninjas.
After it's release on home video it became public domain on various VHS and DVD releases.
