    Gross-out comedy at its finest.

"Ren & Stimpy" is by far one of THE grossest television shows ever, but unlike most shows that try to be gross, this show is pretty damn hilarious. This great show lasted for only five seasons; however, Nickelodeon fired the show's creator, John K., thus seasons 3-5 pretty much sucked when compared to seasons 1 & 2. Despite Nickelodeon showing this series, it really wasn't for kids anyway, especially in this crappy PC environment that plagues today's television. My recommendation is to check out seasons 1 & 2 of this brilliant show. Fortunately, there will be a DVD set that contains seasons 1 & 2 that will be UNCUT, which means that the scenes butchered from Nickelodeon are now restored in all of its glory. I personally put "Ren & Stimpy" up against "Rocky & Bulwinkle", and "Looney Tunes" as one of the great classics. Although it only lasted two seasons,(I am overlooking season's 3-5, since they were done by a different company and were crappier) this classic show will live in our memories and on DVD October 12th.

Oh my belov-ed ice cream bar! How I love to lick your creamy center!

Very sick, Very ahead of its time! The background is very camp, and reminds you of the old fifties cartoons. The same style of sets and I like when they use people but never show there faces. however this similarity stops there.

Most of the stories are clever and funny with a bit of sick humor and or gross context thrown in. The gags are mostly funny because there taken to their extreme. Like the old WB Coyote falling from the highest cliff over and over and over. Or they play out what we all would like to be doing in real life. They can even poke fun at themselves and do so often. I love them and recommend them to anyone with a good sense of humor, but they are not what I would show my kids.

    "Keep your stinkiness to yourself."

Johnny K. drop kicked animation into the next phase when he created this masterpiece.

Non-stop non sequitors were all over the place. I couldn't stop laughing. And the situations seemed to be an ongoing contest of how unrealistic can we be. The deadpan deliveries added to the fun.

Kirsch lost the rights to this at one point and the new owners RUINED it. It became an abuse/gross-fest. So make sure you see the Spumco versions only.

The DVD has it all un-cut now. And it's still funnier than anything on today. Seth MacFarlane had to have been a fan.

This and the great "Liquid Television" deserve to be kept alive.

    Happy, Happy Joy Joy!

Ren and Stimpy is one of my favorite shows that has ever graced t.v. The misadventures of an aggressive no-nonsense Chihuahua named Ren, and his idiot sidekick Stimpy are hilarious, and makes me laugh till my sides hurt every time I watch it! This show was crude, and gross but I loved every moment of this show from cousin Sven, to rubber nipples, Crocko Stimpies, and Magic Nose Goblins!

This show was the coolest! Memories......

    Another Nickelodeon Cartoon Classic!

The Ren and Stimpy Show is a funny and can sometimes be a little gross but I still like it kind of cartoon! The Ren and Stimpy Show is about an intense hyperactive chihuahua and a empty-brained cat who share all those weird bizarre and often repulsive adventures. This show is one of my favorite Nickelodeon shows that was also pretty popular and it was also one of the first three Nickelodeon cartoons that started the whole Nicktoons era. The Ren and Stimpy Show was one of the first three nicktoon shows along with Doug and Rugrats. I remember that this show used to be apart of Nickelodeon's SNICK Saturdays until those stupid Rugrats took it's place but luckily I was glad when SpongeBob Squarepants kicked Rugrats out of the SNICK line-up and replace their time slot! Then I remember when this show came back for a little while in early 2000 and showed reruns again until Nickelodeon canceled it again! Another thing I remember about this show was when they started making TV audience ratings, most of the Nickelodeon cartoons were rated TV-Y and this one was the only Nickelodeon cartoon to be rated TV-Y7.

Ren: You! You and your fan mail, Mr. Fan Club. Everyone love you, don't they? Well, guess what the mailman brought for you today? *Nothing!* This letter's for me! You, they have forgotten! Now it is me they love. It is I who am most loved! It is I who shall rule! You see? This is the proof that you are finished!

      [Opens letter]

Ren: Listen! Listen to what it says. "Dear Ren: - That's me, that's me! - You are my favorite TV star." Are you getting this?

[Rubs the letter on Stimpy's face]

Ren: It's me they love! I am *king*! "When I grow up, I want to be just like you." How about that?
