Exclusive: Innovative Artists Entertainment has inked producer-director-actress Melissa Joan Hart for acting, producing, directing, and crossover work in public appearances and conventions.

Hart is well known for her series Sabrina The Teenage Witch and Clarissa Explains It All, and also won a People’s Choice Award for her work on Melissa & Joey. She also led the Netflix family sitcom series No Good Nick opposite Sean Astin. Recently she co-starred in and produced the Netflix feature A merry Little Ex-Mas which will be coming out this December; that pic starring Alicia Silverstone as well as Hart.

As a director and producer, Hart’s credits include The Goldbergs, Schooled, The Big Show Show, Young Sheldon, Santa Bootcamp, and the iCarly reboot.

Hart continues to be managed by Gilbertson Entertainment and attorney David Tenzer.

The news that actress Michelle Trachtenberg, died at the age of 39 was a shock to many, including the Buffy the Vampire Slayerstar’s friends and co-stars. Trachtenberg was found dead in her New York City apartment on the morning of Feb. 29. According to police, per Variety, the cause of her death has not been revealed, but officials are not investigating her death as suspicious.

Michelle Trachtenberg, the actor best known for film and television roles including “Gossip Girl” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” has died. She was 39.

She was found unconscious and unresponsive Wednesday in her Manhattan apartment, according to the New York City police department. According to the New York Post, which first reported the news, she had recently undergone a liver transplant. Trachtenberg’s cause of death has not been confirmed, but the NYPD said criminality was not suspected.

In a statement, NYPD said that officers responded to a 911 call just after 8 a.m. and Trachtenberg was pronounced dead by emergency medical workers, who also responded to the scene.

“It is with great sadness to confirm that Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away,” her publicist Gary Mantoosh said in a statement. “The family requests privacy for their loss. There are no further details at this time.”

The former child star, who rose to fame on the 90s sitcom “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”, took to Instagram on Friday to lay the “hot gossip” to rest.

Hart, 46, began her post by noting that she’s been “truly confused” by tabloid rumours, suggesting that she “has it out for Lena Dunham” and that the two have been longtime “frenemies,” because she seemingly didn’t know they existed until “numerous friends” asked her about her “rivalry” with the former “Girls” actress, 36.

Melissa Joan Hart told fans of her ’90s Nickelodeon show “Clarissa Explains It All” is no longer happening, People reports.

Hart was attending ’90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut, on Saturday and sitting in on the panel for “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,” her other ’90s series, when she was asked about the status of the “Clarissa” reboot, which was first reported in 2018.

“We tried that, actually. Nickelodeon got a new president, and they kind of squashed the whole thing,” Hart said of the reboot, according to People, and referring to Bryan Robbins, who took over as president of the cable network for kids from Cyma Zarghami in 2018. “So it was actually in the works and, yeah, it just sort of disappeared. On the panel titled “Telling our Stories Film Contest” at TheWrap’s Power Women Summit, six finalists of the contest presented by Starz and TheWrap delved into the challenges of making their films. The short films highlighted themes of womanhood, community and representation, and all the submissions were from women and gender-nonconforming filmmakers of color. All six finalists — which were chosen out of 1,100 submissions evaluated by industry professionals — will see their work on Starz, with the winner receiving a $10,000 prize.

Netflix has cancelled the Melissa Joan Hart and Sean Astin comedy “No Good Nick” after just one season, individuals with knowledge of the cancellation tell TheWrap.

The multi-camera followed 13-year-old Nick, short for Nicole, who infiltrates a family with the intention to get revenge on them for unknowingly ruining her life. As she gets to know the family, she will find compassion for them and will struggle with whether or not she can ultimately go through with the plan.

Hart played the career mom to Astin’s knuckle-headed dad, with Siena Agudong (Nickelodeon’s “Star Falls”) as Nick. It also starred Lauren Lindsey Donzis and Kalama Epstein, who are also veteran child actors.

Source series “The Loud House” has been renewed for a 26-episode fifth season ahead of its Season 4 premiere, Nick said on Tuesday. Spinoff “The Casagrandes” will debut in October.
