Piers Morgan presided over a stormy encounter on his chat show, before one guest departed abruptly.
Morgan was hosting two boxers – Chris Eubank Jr and Connor Benn – on Piers Morgan Uncensored this week, when the subject of Benn’s previous failed drug tests arose.
Benn was scheduled to fight Eubank Jr back in October 2022, but the bout was aborted after Benn tested positive for clomiphene. He was later cleared by the National Anti-Doping Panel.
The Sun newspaper reports that Eubank Jr, who has never believed the Panel’s verdict, was vociferous, calling Benn “still a cheat.”
He said: “If someone was to have pinned him down and jabbed a syringe into the side of his ass and squeezed it in, if that had happened and I saw it.
“Guess what? He’s still a cheat. He shouldn’t have let it happen.
“It’s his responsibility to protect himself at all times,...

Mai Shiranui is the next character coming to Street Fighter 6, but many fans may not be well-acquainted with who exactly the newest addition to the roster is. As a character originating outside of the Street Fighter franchise, Mai's inclusion in Street Fighter 6's second season is breaking new ground for a very understandable reason: Street Fighter has never had guest characters prior to Street Fighter 6, and now Mai is only the second outsider to make the cut.
Making her first appearance all the way back in 1992, Mai has decades of history within the fighting game genre across a slew of different franchises. Stepping into the arena of Street Fighter 6 might be Mai's most auspicious appearance to date, but she'll be bringing along literal decades of backstory and fighting game history when she does. While Street Fighter fans may not know who she is yet, Mai is actually one of the...

The final character for the first season of Dlc in Tekken 8 has been announced, and it’s one that’s going to disappoint many. After announcing that a second season was in development, Bandai Namco teased that the final character for Season 1 would be revealed during The Game Awards 2024. During the presentation, the promised trailer revealed that Clive Rosfield, the protagonist from Final Fantasy 16, would be the next Dlc character for Tekken 8.
Reaction to the announcement from Tekken and Final Fantasy fans was rather mixed. Guest characters are nothing new to the Tekken franchise, so some form of crossover appearance was all but a certainty going into the show. The problem is, many fans had their hopes up for a very different Final Fantasy character: Tifa from Final Fantasy 7, who remains conspicuously absent in the popular fighting game series.

King of Fighters Xv has been a big success for Snk. The series has always floundered in the United States in the past, which is the biggest market for fighting games. However, perhaps because of things like Terry in Smash Bros, it seems that King of Fighters is finally thriving stateside. It was because of this that Snk was able to announce continuations of long-dead series like Fatal Fury.
Of course, King of Fighters' success inside entirely because of outside forces. It has one of the best casts of any fighting game, partially due to being comprised of multiple other game series. There are some truly powerful characters in the library. Some of them are strong in-game, some are powerful in-story, but they all are some of gaming's most underrated.

Crossovers are nothing new and have always been a thing in fighting games. Still, Street Fighter has always avoided them and resisted inviting characters from other universes to its core-numbered entries.
However, with the recent announcement of Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui, both of Fatal Fury and King of Fighters, coming to Street Fighter, their previous inhibitions have evolved as they tread towards becoming more welcoming.
Street Fighter 6 Opens its Gates To Outsiders
Street Fighter 6 run at year 2 has made them more tolerant toward guest appearances.
Street Fighter 6 has been going through a massive change by inviting characters from other games and incorporating them into the game. Street Fighter has never been big on opening its doors to outsiders, but all of that is bound to change with its latest announcement of invitations for many other characters from other games.

Throughout the ‘90s, Snk was one of the kings of the fighting game genre, with the company developing and publishing classics like Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, and The King of Fighters. Now that the publisher has successfully revived the Samurai Shodown and King of Fighters franchises for a new generation of fans, Snk is set to unleash the epic return of Fatal Fury with City of the Wolves, the first entry in the series in 26 years when it finally hits shelves next year.
Set to launch in 2025, City of the Wolves is the sequel to 1999’s Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves, which released back in the Neo Geo and Sega Dreamcast days, if you want to feel old. The new game continues the saga of Rock Howard and Terry Bogard, as they face familiar opponents and formidable newcomers in no-holds barred fights.

Street Fighter 6 is about to make history as the first mainline entry in the long-running series to add guest fighters from other games. Sure, we've seen Final Fight characters in the series for a long time, but that's established as part of the same world. When the Year 2 character roster springs to life, two of the characters that will be joining down the line are Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui from Snk's Fatal Fury series. Before that, the Year 2 roster starts with classic Street Fighter antagonist M. Bison on June 26, 2024. Terry will launch in fall 2024, Mai will launch in winter 2025, and Elena from Street Fighter III will follow in spring 2025. You can see the Year 2 character reveal trailer and the first look at M. Bison in action below. Street Fighter 6 Year 2 Character Reveal Related: Street Fighter 6 Knocks Out Over 3 Million Units Sold Globally M. Bison Gameplay Trailer Street Fighter...

Fighting game fans are eating well right now. We are weeks away from Street Fighter VI being released. Tekken 8 is coming out sometime soon. King of Fighters Xv and Guilty Gear Strive are still cranking out Dlc. We even have new installments of Fatal Fury and Under Night on the horizon. Adding to the pile is the recently released trailer for Mortal Kombat 12, which is coming out on September 19!
Of course, the thing of it is that the game is actually called Mortal Kombat 1. They hinted as much with the teaser trailers, one of which included the hand on a clock skipping the 12 and going straight to the 1. So what does this confusing choice even mean? I mean, it was bad enough when the ninth game was called “Mortal Kombat.” Now they have to throw this at us?
Then again, fans of Mortal Kombat 11 knew this was in the cards...
