If you are into sustainability, you should watch this movie. I watched it as part of the International Permaculture Festival of Wild Ideas organized by the amazing Morag Gamble.
It's been 30 years since this doc was filmed.
The most drastic change since then has been the size of the human population - from 5 billion to 8 billion.
Many geographical areas like the US and Europe are still polluting much more per capita than they should be doing, so those who pollute the least are not the most affected by the consequences. This movie shows in a holistic way that reinventing capitalism is part of the adaptation and the process of rewilding that is necessary.
