- Kate: [sees his bandaged arm, gets upset] Another scar to add to your collection?
- Eric: [insistent] I'm alright.
- Kate: Well, I'm not! I'm married to a man who's job is to be willing to die at any given moment for any given reason!
- Eric: Jeez, do we have to keep going through this?
- Kate: What kind of a life is that?
- Eric: You knew what I did when you married me.
