Valeria Golino and Dana Carvey in Trou de mémoire (1994)

Trivia

Trou de mémoire

Edit
This was the first film that Dana Carvey starred in after leaving Saturday Night Live in the Spring of 1993. Carvey had been on the show for seven years and left the show to pursue a film career and other opportunities.
One of four films that composer Alan Silvestri wrote the music for in 1994. The others were "Forrest Gump", which he would earn his first Oscar nomination for, "Blown Away" and "Richie Rich".
The song that the saxophone player plays is "These Foolish Things (Remind Me of You)", a popular jazz piece that is incorporated into Alan Silvestri's score and given a full rendition during the End Credits by jazz singer Oleta Adams.
The first of back to back to back films released in a span of two months featuring Alan Silvestri as the composer. The others were "Blown Away" which was also released by MGM and "Forrest Gump". "I Love Trouble" would've been the fourth film, but had to leave the project due to scheduling conflicts with all three films.
A variation on Pogue's fictitious memory disorder affects the Drew Barrymore character, Lucy, in 50 First Dates (however, unlike Pogue, Lucy retains all her memories prior to her accident and simply erases any new ones that form subsequently whenever she falls asleep).
