Canadian Bacon (1995)

FAQ

Canadian Bacon

FAQ

    Yes

That is correct. Therefore, John Candy's last movie was not really a flop. I mean, this masterpiece more than makes up for the waste of resources that Wagons East was. With the exception of Wagons East, every movie with John Candy became a true masterpiece regardless of the story line, the acting, the other actors, the producers, etc. The only reason Wagons East was a flop is that it is an unfinished movie. They could not properly end the movie without John Candy. My thoughts are they should have just shelved the movie and allow it to become part of entertainment legend and lore. That way 50 years later, they could show the movie as a long lost John Candy movie, regardless of its incompleteness. Long live John Candy!
