Motorboating, paintballing, more: Ant & Dec celebrate 25 years
Congratulations to Ant & Dec, who celebrate 25 years in showbusiness together this year.

The dynamic (and diminutive) duo first hit our small screens in Byker Grove and have gone on to become a fixture of prime-time telly viewing with Bgt and their Saturday Night Takeaway.

We celebrate Ant & Dec's career successes - from paintballing to motorboating - below:

1. He can't see man!

"He can't see man!!" Dec points out the obvious as Ant lies blinded by paint after an illegal paintballing contest on Byker Grove.

2. Not stable...

Dec makes an earnest-looking stable boy in his sadly uncredited appearance in an adaptation of Catherine Cookson's The Cinder Path in '94.

3. Ant & Dec knighted

Ant & Dec dressed as knights at Knebworth House. Just because.

4. Let's Get Ready...

It's the Geordie answer to the Blues Brothers (sort of), as the duo perform as Pj & Duncan at the Royal Albert Hall back in 1996.

UKTV launches new Freeview channel Drama
UKTV has announced new Freeview channel Drama.

The station will launch on July 8 and feature shows including Pride and Prejudice, Catherine Cookson's The Cinder Path, Sharpe, Tipping The Velvet, Auf Wiedersehen Pet, Cranford and Lark Rise to Candleford.

UKTV controller Emma Tennant said: "Drama is targeted at a different audience demographic than our other highly successful free-to-air channels, Dave, Yesterday and Really.

"The channel is aimed at people who simply love drama and want to watch critically-acclaimed shows that have absolutely defined the landscape of British television."

She added: "I am very passionate about the subject and discussing the programmes that will create Drama's schedule has just been brilliant fun.

"I'm genuinely excited about the launch of Drama both as a viewer and as controller."

General manager of drama Adrian Wills added: "Drama lovers' prayers have been answered.

Get The Scoop on Apollo 18
Dimension Films has set the release date for Apollo 18 a “found-footage” horror movie for September 2, 2011. The film is also known as “Apollo 18 - A Missão Proibida”. Apollo 18 is directed by Gonzalo López-Gallego (Nómadas), produced by Timur Bekmambetov (The Darkest Hour) and will star Llyod Owen (The Cinder Path) and Warren Christie (Gray Matters). Apollo 18 takes a look at found footage from Nasa's abandoned Apollo 18 mission, where two American astronauts were sent on a secret expedition, reveals the reason the U.S. has never returned to the moon. There have been tons of new found footage entries into the world of horror lately with many that are just ok. Maybe Apollo 18 will bring something new to the genre? Pet Shop Boys, Grace Jones Announced To Headline Latitude Festival
Pet Shop Boys, Grace Jones, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds will headline this year's Latitude Festival. Editors, Bat For Lashes and Doves are also set to play the event which takes place at Southwold in Suffolk.

The line-up for the Latitude festival was revealed last night. This summer's event will have the performers play on the Henham estate between Beccles and Southwold.

The fest takes place between July 16 and 19 with a full range of performance stages devoted to the likes of theatre, comedy and poetry.

Also joining the line-up is radio DJ, television presenter and critic Stuart Maconie. Poet laureate Andrew Motion has been confirmed and will be reading from The Cinder Path and a collection of essays, Ways of Life: On Places, Painters and Poets.
