Julian Sands in Warlock: The Armageddon (1993)

FAQ

Warlock: The Armageddon

FAQ

No The studio that released this felt that not enough people saw the original one to justify it as a sequel. The other problem is that the first Warlock is a story that does not leave itself open for a sequel. If this were a true sequel, the Warlock would only have to utter gods name in reverse at the films beginning. The Warlock is the same warlock from the first film, but the two films are not canon.

Though it could be said, for continuity sake, that the warlock from the first film is still dead, and this new Warlock is a reincarnation or a "copy" of him. Not retaining the memories of the original.

While the second part of the Warlock trilogy was directly released in it's unrated form, Trimark only released the slightly shorter R-Rated Version in the United States. There's no huge difference, though. The Unrated Version runs only 10 seconds longer and no gore effects were added.
