Vincent D'Onofrio and Lili Taylor who play father and daughter in this film previously played love interests in Mystic Pizza (1988).
This was considered a "lost" film with no real modern distribution, however it was located in a film vault and subsequently restored in 4K.
Director Nancy Savoca was several months pregnant during the making of the film.
