Catacombs, les couloirs de l'enfer (1988)

Trivia

Catacombs, les couloirs de l'enfer

Edit
This film was completed in 1988 with the title Catacombs, but when its intended distributor went out of business, the film was not released. The film debuted on video and laser disc in 1993 with the title Curse IV: The Ultimate Sacrifice in an attempt to capitalize on the mild success of the Curse films, but this is illogical, as the film was made before both La morsure (1989) and Panga, le sorcier vaudou (1991).
The sequence with the statue of Christ coming to life cost five thousand dollars to do.
This movie was shot in twenty days: Ten days were done in a studio and the other ten days were filmed on location in a monastery in Terni, Italy.
The climactic confrontation between good and evil was filmed over the course of two days.
The script was rewritten throughout the shooting of the picture.

Director Cameo

David Schmoeller: Monk.
