All 20 Power Rangers Crossover Episodes, Ranked Worst To Best
Image
Power Rangers crossovers feature different types of team-up episodes with varying degrees of importance and impact on the franchise. Some Power Rangers crossover episodes, like "Rangers of Two Worlds" and "True Blue to the Rescue," were underwhelming. However, there are standout crossover episodes like "Dimensions in Danger" and "Forever Red" that successfully bring together different generations of Rangers for exciting and memorable team-ups.

Every Power Rangers crossover has brought something different to the franchise, from exciting team-ups to the return of beloved characters. Almost every Power Rangers season has at least one crossover episode in which two different teams come together to fight a greater evil. While some of them are based on crossovers from the Super Sentai shows, others are original stories created for Power Rangers.

The are different types of team-up episodes within Power Rangers’ chronology. For example, some feature the return of only one Ranger from another season,...

‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always’ (2023) Ending, Explained: Did Minh Get Justice?
Image
In the early 90s, a new pop culture phenomenon grasped the young audience worldwide in the form of “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” which showcased a color-coded costume-wearing team of teenage superheroes, mentored by an alien trapped in a time warp, with each of the teens having their distinctive animal-motif weapons and transforming vehicles. While handling their real-life situations, the team of do-gooders battled the monster of the episode, which inevitably ended up in mechanical Megazord battles. The entire narrative, character designs, and even key battle sequences were heavily inspired by the Japanese tokusatsu series “Super Sentai.” The simplistic plotline, caricature-ish characters, over-the-top action, and quippy dialogues, all tied together with a shoestring budget, had a self-aware charm of their own, which made it possible for the series to further itself into a newer motif-oriented franchise spanning over three decades with thirty new series—although the newer versions have lost their appeal by far.

The James Clayton Column: The true horror of Toy Story 3
Spoilers lie ahead for Toy Story 3, as James considers just why it's managed to upset and scare him quite so much...

There are spoilers ahead if you haven't seen Toy Story 3 yet.

Toy Story 3 is a very upsetting film. It's even more upsetting than last year's Pixar tearjerker, the ‘boy scout, old man and a flying house' adventure story Up. Reflecting on the final instalment of the Toy Story trilogy, I'm left feeling touched, but yet deeply unnerved.

Much has been made of the movie's ability to make the most emotionally-uptight adults cry. Yes! Even big manly grown men are emerging from the cinema weeping like little girls! How shocking!

Because we live in a society that sees tears as alien abominations that threaten all reason and order, Toy Story 3 is probably the most dangerous and disturbing flick currently in cinemas. It's more frightening and potentially...

Medialog: Will They Call it 301?
Established 1974! Our news column enters the belly of the beast.

Sequels

Because the film version of Frank Miller’s graphic novel 300 made so much money, the folks behind it (Legendary Pictures, Warner Bros., director Zack Snyder, etc.) are still considering a sequel—even though most of the cast died heroically in the original. Miller has now finished a draft of his sequel graphic novel (untitled but maybe we can nickname it 301?). Will that spur the film project along? The Hollywood Reporter has further speculation at Risky Biz.

Nimrod Antal (Vacancy) will direct the Predators sequel being masterminded by Robert Rodriguez. Alex Litvak and Michael Finch are scripting. The Predators will be glad to be back at work so they don’t lose their health benefits.

Character Castings

Missy Peregrym (late of the cancelled Reaper) and Gregory Smith (A Wrinkle In Time) will star as young policemen in the Canadian-made Coppers.
