One of the most pointless films I've ever seen

I'm not gonna waste much time on this one, cause the movie and story is a waste. It's also a waste of good actors including the late Brion James who dons a Russian accent here. We have a sleazeball pimp, who lives like a roach, and is in the habit of bringing really, really young girls into his stable, one of them looking spiffy at a nightclub, who acts more like an adult, another one, a poor 13 year old stray backpack, low cut dress, indecisive about going off to her first, obvious pervert client. The pimp's girlfriend, at the request of her guy, recommends that she has some too to relax her. I could not believe this scene was used in this movie, as are a lot of other scenes are just pointless. One scene has sexy lead, public defender, walking the crime scene, dolled up as a prostitute, asking a couple of other pros, about this murdered one, while played against the 86 song "What about love". It's absolutely pathetic. We too have a bad guy who's face is like a baboons, hair running 360 all around the lining of his face. Is this even possible. A fascinating note is Marc Singer's character. Is he really bad or good. I know one thing. This movie is bad, really really bad.

Since I live in the city it was filmed

Since I live in the city it was filmed in and I know this city inside out and backwards and can describe almost every street and building in this town, it's funny to see the filming and locations - becvause the city is far what what it is made out to be.

The strip bar doesn't exist, not do the hookers in the areas that are filmed.

The hookers don't even look anything like the ones in the movie.

The women here are far too healthy looking and well mannered.

This movie features my old car.

Overall, the story is poorly written and the dialog isn't much better.

If it wasn't for this film being filmed in my neighbourhood and featurig my car, I would have probably given it a pass long time before it ended.

One reason to see this....

This movie didn't have great acting, and the plot was dismal, to be modest - but there is one reason to see this. The "underwear scene" in this movie just rawks. Highly erotic. Traci Scoggins knows how to move those hips, LOL. Worth a rent if it's in the budget movie section just for that scene.

a dark, sexy thriller with great music and atmosphere

having recently seen ulitmate Desires I was very pleased. director Simadl does a great job, almost too good!, of building anticipation for the payoff! Samantha Stewart (tracy Scoggins) is trying to avenge the death of her friend, a call-girl who was brutally murdered for something beyond her control. Marc Singer is a power-playing fed out to help? and the late Brion James is the assassin out to kill! Brion gives a great perf here, chck out the german accent and the depth, even as the baddie, James show his character still has some humanity when he spares a underage girl from the hell of prostituion. The music, songs from Heart and others, is great and there is some really nice dances too. Scoggins does really well with her part, making you drool to see her cut loose. if youre in the mood for dark, neo-noir thriller that out of the ordinary this is it!

Disappointing to the Ultimate!

Ultimate Desires is the ultimate disappointment to movie watchers with any good taste, unfortunately. I had the displeasure of seeing this straight to video film recently, and deeply regretted the time spent. If I had to classify it, I would almost be tempted to label it a sex flick. Tracy Scoggins is a decent actress, but this movie does little to showcase who acting abilities. Marc Singer, who is always worth watching, is also not greatly utilized. The movie does contain moments of suspense, but it doesn't build properly because of the bad writing and production values. It's obvious that Ultimate desires was intended to appeal to men looking for erotic movies, and it is easily recognizable as such. The video cover is pretty humorous, with this in mind. Remember also that this movie is only one in many sex/suspense movies of the late 80's , and early 90's. I urge the viewer to use caution, as this movie does contian nudity, and sexual situations. Ultimate Desires is by no means the best movie ever, but it also isn't the worst.
