Bolo Yeung, Michael Bernardo, and William Zabka in Shootfighter: Fight to the Death (1993)

FAQ

Shootfighter: Fight to the Death

FAQ

The American home release was followed by two versions. One, rated R, and an unrated version which shows 40 seconds of additional violence. The r-rated version came into rental stores and was also aired on TV by HBO and Cinemax. In all other cases the unrated version was the master. While watching the r-rated version one can recognize the cuts.

In Britain the VHS was based on the Unrated Version but got censored. Several violent scenes got trimmed. Again one can see a comparison with pictures here. The DVD is completely uncensored.
