Former Ted Lasso star Kola Bokinni has lined up an unexpected role in Netflix’s competition show Celebrity Bear Hunt. Bokinni joins 11 other celebrities in Bear Grylls’ “ultimate survivor challenge” show.
Celebrity Bear Hunt transplants a group of celebrities into a Costa Rican jungle, where the only way to win is to avoid being caught by Bear Grylls. Holly Willoughby – who hosts Dancing on Ice and You Bet! in the UK – will provide commentary on the action as these famous faces are hunted one-by-one by the world’s most famous survivalist.
Bokinni memorably played fictional AFC Richmond captain Isaac McAdoo in Ted Lasso, but the competition will be very real in his latest TV project. The actor ventures into the jungle alongside former Spice Girl Mel B, tennis icon Boris Becker, retired rugby standout Danny Cipriani and models Lottie Moss and Leomie Anderson.

TV personality Bear Grylls shared a heartfelt family photograph on Instagram to commemorate son Marmaduke‘s 18th birthday. The image features Grylls, Marmaduke, and his wife, Shara Cannings Knight, and it has sparked surprise across the internet due to Marmaduke’s enormous height.
On April 6, Grylls posted two family photos with the caption, “18 today! We love you so much, Marmaduke… keep shining bright!”
While numerous well-wishers extended birthday greetings, the attention focused mainly on Marmaduke’s towering stature. One comment humorously quipped, “Bear Junior is turning out to be a Grizzly.” Another playful remark read, “You must look up to him a lot,” while a third individual shared, “Bear Grylls looks like he is the son.”
Born on June 7, 1974, Edward Michael “Bear” Grylls, a former Sas trooper, has honed his survival expert, adventurer and television presenter skills. Grylls initially captured the public’s attention when he set multiple world records in unforgiving environments.

We’ve lost another Hollywood legend. The Hollywood Reporter has broken the news that cinematographer Bill Butler, best known for his work on the 1975 Steven Spielberg classic Jaws, has passed away at the age of 101. Butler died on Wednesday evening, according to the American Society of Cinematographers. He would have turned 102 on Friday – today.
Born on April 7, 1921 in Cripple Creek, Colorado, Butler earned his first entertainment industry credit by working as a camera operator on the 1959 film 1001 Arabian Nights. His first cinematographer credit came when his friend, director William Friedkin, hired him to shoot the 1962 TV movie The People vs. Paul Crump. He never attended film school, he just taught himself cinematography by watching movies and referring to the ASC manual. That approach definitely worked out for him. Over the next fifty-four years, he served as the cinematographer on eighty-four more projects, including Jack Nicholson’s Drive, He Said; The Bold Men,...

Thousands gathered in the streets of London to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II at her funeral on Sept. 19. Among the mournful crowd were a few famous faces, including none other than "Grey's Anatomy" alum Sandra Oh, who followed behind the queen's casket as it was transported from the state funeral service at Westminster Abbey to St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle for a committal service. Surrounded by royal family members and world leaders, Oh's appearance at the funeral caught the internet off guard, but the "Princess Diaries" star had good reason to secure an invitation to the queen's funeral.

Nature Filmmaker Varty Attacked By A Tiger
Wildlife filmmaker John Varty is recovering in hospital after he was mauled by a tiger during a documentary shoot in South Africa.
Varty, 61, was filming at his private game reserve near Philippolis in South Africa's Free State when he was attacked by the animal and is now receiving treatment at a local hospital.
He sustained multiple puncture wounds and two broken ribs and underwent a six-hour emergency operation, but is still in a serious condition.
Amanda Appelgryn, spokeswoman for the Mediclinic hospital in Bloemfontein, says, "He went for six-hour surgery and is in the intensive care unit. He had lost a lot of blood and got a transfusion in theatre. He has multiple injuries on his front and back and all over his whole body, but not his face.
He is conscious... he is in pain but he's doing Ok... He's not stable and he's not critical, but somewhere inbetween. It's best to say he's in a serious condition. I can't say he's out of danger: with wild animals there is always the possibility of infection."
Varty has produced more than 30 wildlife documentaries during his career and he found success in Hollywood by writing and starring in 1990 film Running Wild with Martin Sheen and Brooke Shields.

A look at what's new on DVD today:
"Buried"
Directed by Rodrigo Cortes
Released by Lionsgate
"Paper Man"
Directed by Kieran and Michele Mulroney
Released by Mpi Home Video
While one can't feel too badly for the future "Green Lantern" star and People's sexiest man alive, Ryan Reynolds' two stabs at glory outside the beaten path went largely unseen, which is particularly a shame in the case of Rodrigo Cortes' "Buried," the thriller where Reynolds has no acting partner but a cell phone as a military contractor who finds himself trapped in a coffin with no knowledge of how or why he got there. A success at Sundance, Lionsgate scrapped expansion plans for the film when it didn't do well in limited release, so home video will be the first chance for many to catch it. Still, that was a considerably bigger success than "Paper Man," which snuck in...
