Director Denies Child Porn Accusations
Welsh filmmaker Karl Francis has pleaded not guilty to eight charges of making an indecent image of a child.
The Rebecca's Daughter director, 66, was arrested and charged after he was allegedly linked to a U.S. website investigated by authorities in Virginia and the South Wales Police.
Francis also denied one count of arranging or facilitating sex causing a child sex offence, when he appeared at a hearing in Wales' Cardiff Crown Court on Monday.
Judge William Gaskell adjourned the case until 27 July to allow the defence team to ready their statement and seek expert evidence.
Francis was released on bail under the condition he attends his next court date.
