Zombiesluts Stripclub Slaughterhouse: Andrew Pierson Keeps the Undead Out and the Blood Flowing!
Image
Zombiesluts Stripclub Slaughterhouse

Blood. Boobs. Booze… And Body Parts.

Prepare yourselves, horror fans. Andrew Pierson is stepping into the blood-soaked chaos of ZombieSluts Stripclub Slaughterhouse, the latest unapologetically wild vision from cult director Robbie Lopez. Pierson will star as Porter, the no-nonsense stripclub bouncer caught in the middle of a full-blown zombie outbreak at the sleaziest spot in town. And trust us—this isn’t your average undead party…

“It’s From Dusk Till Dawn meets Dead Alive, with a twisted obsession for practical FX, geysers of blood, and… let’s just say, a very unhealthy number of ripped-off d#cks,” teases the production team.

The film aims to shatter indie horror records:

Most practical effects in an independent horror feature

Most blood used on set

Most dismembered male members in cinematic history

This is a bold, brutal, boundary-pushing grindhouse gorefest with a darkly comedic edge—and Pierson’s role...

Slaughterhouse, l'abattoir de l'angoisse (1987)
‘Pigshit’ Teaser – The Squeal Is Real in Southern-Fried Indie Slasher Throwback
Slaughterhouse, l'abattoir de l'angoisse (1987)
While most slasher throwbacks drawn inspiration from the tried-and-true staples of the genre, the upcoming Pigshit is described as “a gruesome love letter to deep-fried ’80s slasher classics like Slaughterhouse and Motel Hell.

The squeal is real in the teaser below from Astronomic Studios.

The film follows a group of young adults who return to an abandoned pig farm for a late-night party. Unbeknownst to them, the farm holds a dark secret—years ago, a young boy met a horrific end there, and his grieving father vanished into the woods.

But now, he’s back. Fueled by madness and bloodlust, the deranged farmer will stop at nothing to protect his land from the outsiders—some of whom may know more about the boy’s death than they’ve ever admitted.

Josh Schafer of Lunchmeat VHS dons the pig mask as the titular slasher. Patrick Moran, who played the killer in Jack-o,...

New Horror ‘I Will Never Leave You Alone’ Premieres on Arrow
Image
Arrow has revealed an electrifying new slate of films for March, delivering a mix of cult horror, psychological terror, and classic genre cinema. Films include chilling haunted house tales to a remastered giallo masterpiece, this month’s collection promises an unmissable selection for horror and cult film devotees.

The month kicks off on 3 March with Play It Cool, a long-lost Japanese drama that delves into the seedy underworld of Tokyo’s nightclub culture. Directed by Yasuz? Masumura, the film is a bold and stylish exploration of power, gender, and survival in a world dominated by men.

Following that, on 10 March, I Will Never Leave You Alone makes its exclusive debut on Arrow. This eerie, psychological horror from Dw Medoff offers a fresh take on the haunted house formula, weaving supernatural terror with a deeply unsettling sense of psychological unease. A descent into trauma and paranoia, the film has been described...

Will Trent EP Talks Will and Angie’s Big Blowup and Alias Homage in Episode 4
Image
Are Will Trent and Angie Polaski never, ever getting back together — like, ever?

Tuesday’s Will Trent marked the first time the exes had been in the same room since the titular Special Agent placed his girlfri— err, ex-girlfriend, under arrest. Being forced to work together — on a very meta case involving another beloved ABC show, the early-aughts classic Alias — led to a series of frank discussions, including a particularly volatile exchange at Kay’s Slaughter House.

Silent Night, Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker (1991) Revisited – Horror Movie Review
Image
I’ve said it time and time again, but Christmas is definitely the holiday with the most horror movies centered around it. Classics like Black Christmas which got no sequels, but two Very different remakes, Gremlins, and Christmas Evil gave way to modern classics like Better Watch Out, Krampus, and Terrifier 3. Then you have the one series that decided to make a whole interconnected universe out of the holiday. With 5 movies that sometimes, rarely, kinda connect with each other and 4 of them out of the way, its finally time to look at the last entry in the series before the quasi remake came out in 2012. I’ve had the pleasure to discuss 1, 3, and 4 in one way or another on the channel and part 5 deserves its flowers too. While two is an awfully good movie, 3-5 can all count as a black sheep and 5 especially has its weird moments both in...

Slaughterhouse, l'abattoir de l'angoisse (1987)
Slaughterhouse 2: Death Metal trailer: sequel to 1987 slasher premieres soon – Exclusive!
Slaughterhouse, l'abattoir de l'angoisse (1987)
Back in 1987, writer/director Rick Roessler and producer Jerry Encoe teamed up to bring the world the slasher film Slaughterhouse (watch it Here) – a movie that has been a favorite of mine ever since I rented it on VHS at a very young age. Roessler always had thoughts of making a sequel, but the project never made it into production… Until earlier this year. Slaughterhouse 2: Death Metal was filmed in and around the Motor Transport Museum and old feldspar mill in Campo, California, and now it’s ready to have its world theatrical premiere as part of the Popcorn Reef screening series at the Regal Mira Mesa theatre in San Diego, California. The premiere is scheduled to take place on October 23rd, and with that date swiftly approaching, we’re proud to feature an Exclusive look at the film’s trailer! You can check it out in the embed above.

‘Slaughterhouse on the Hill’ Review
Image
Stars: Trent Hagga, Jason Wallace, Ashley Ballou, Steve Hansen, Kristy Adams, Kikki D’Aire, Chris Arredondo, Ryan Freeman, Walid Atshe | Written and Directed by Tom Devlin

Some films you know whether or not you want to see as soon as you read about them, others, like Slaughterhouse on the Hill, you need to think about. On the one hand, it was written and directed by Tom Devlin who also made Teddy Told Me To as well as providing the effects for films ranging from Reel Evil and Ten Inch Mutant Ninja Turtles: The XXX Parody to Alien Planet and Invaders from Proxima B.

On the other, it was released by Cinema Epoch, the company that gave us, among others, Amityville Cop, Sinful and Amityville Emanuelle, which despite name-checking both of those prolific franchises contains neither scares nor anything remotely erotic. But even a blind squirrel finds an occasional acorn, so...

Knocked Loose Announce New Album, Unleash Lead Single “Blinding Faith”: Stream
Image
Knocked Loose have announced a new album, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, arriving May 10th via Pure Noise Records. The video for the lead single “Blinding Faith” is available to stream below.

The news comes as the Kentucky hardcore outfit wrap up a European/UK tour before returning to North American for a spring headlining tour featuring support from Show Me the Body and Loathe. The extensive outing will kick off April 27th at Sick New World in Las Vegas and run through a June 9th show in St. Petersburg, Florida, with tickets available here.

The new song “Blinding Faith” has already been popping up in setlists and is a crushing example of the band’s sound on its new LP. Everything has been cranked the extreme, from Brian Garris’ throat-shredding vocals to the whiplash tempo changes and frenetic guitar work. This is hardcore verging on metalcore/industrial nu-metal,...

The latest edition of “The Muerto Times” has been released by Gun Interactive this afternoon, teasing a massive wave of new fixes in the works for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

What can you expect? Over 250 fixes are in testing right now!

Some of the highlights include…

If a full lobby has 5 out of 7 victims ready, the match timer drops to 30 seconds. Crouch walking will now hide you from The Cook’s “Seek” ability. The Smoke House door on the Gas Station map is being reworked. A tricky valve tank on the Slaughterhouse map will be relocated upstairs. Grandpa awakened cut scene has been replaced with a simple banner notification.

Pumpkinhead (1988) – The Test of Time
Image
The episode of The Test of Time covering Pumpkinhead was Written by Andrew Hatfield, Narrated by Niki Minter, Edited by Mike Conway, Produced by John Fallon and Tyler Nichols, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.

The horror landscape is filled to the brim with icons and mascots that were successful and failures. The big ones like Freddy, Jason, and Michale speak for themselves, hence only needing their first names mentioned here. You could even go another round with Pinhead, the Leprechaun or Leatherface for that matter. Looking down the aisle at the literal murderer’s row of horror movie villains, you can’t shake a stick without hitting some one-off baddies that were clearly meant for multi-movie stardom but due to box office or critical hate were relegated to one movie. Killers like Horace Pinker from Shocker, Dr. Decker from Nightbreed, and Cropsey from The Burning. What about those stuck...

Every Slaughterhouse Exit Location in Texas Chain Saw Massacre
Image
In the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, those lucky enough to find themselves playing the victims will face the daunting task of attempting to escape, through exits around the map, from the horrific, murderous family hunting them down. Therefore, knowing where to find all the exits is not only recommended, but essential if victims have any hope of escape.

One of the more horrifying map locations in the game that will constantly remind victims what they're running from is the Slaughterhouse map. As expected, since it is the same for every other Texas Chainsaw Massacre map, there are four different exits on the Slaughterhouse map with each one being decently spaced out from the others.

The Loading Dock Exit Close

As stated, there are four different exits and each one will have its own requirements. First up is the Loading Dock Exit. For the loading dock, victims will need to track down the Car Battery.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game Review: Even with Its Lack of Variety, I Can’t Stop Playing
Image
Coming to us from Gun Interactive (developer of the Friday the 13th game) and Sumo Digital - Nottingham, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre game manages to appeal to so many, with very little variety. Oddly, the lack of variation is okay. At least for now, I can’t stop playing it. Playing this game is like playing a very dangerous version of Manhunt or Hide and Seek with your neighbors when you were a kid - just add in a few deranged psychopaths and a chainsaw.

Before you even jump into a match, you are graced with an eerie narration of a bit of history regarding the horrors that are to come. That, paired with the music and art of the homescreen, impeccably prepares you for the type of game you are about to load into. Playing as either the Victims or the Family, you are given the task of hunting and killing the Victims,...

Benito Zambrano’s “Jumping the Fence” joins Roya Sadat’s “Sima’s Song,” and Pau Calpe’s “Werewolf” in the lineup of Spanish Screenings Goes to Cannes, a selection of five pix in post which underscores the ever broadening compass – in genre, setting, protagonists, production bases and models – of film production in Spain.

Alief Swoops on Santiago Fillol’s Locarno Competition Title ‘Matadero’ (Exclusive)
Image
Paris-based sales company Alief has swooped on international sales rights to horror-political thriller “Matadero” (“Slaughterhouse”), the awaited fiction feature debut of Argentina’s Santiago Fillol, co-scribe on Oliver Laxe’s Cannes winners “Mimosa” and “Fire Will Come.”

Co-written by Fillol, “Matadero” world premieres this week in Locarno’s main International Competition.

The film takes a stark look at a historic tale through the maniacal lens of U.S. filmmaker Jared (Julio Perillán), as he shoots a big-screen version of a 19th-century text by Argentine writer Estaban Echeverría, exploiting the times and their trappings to create a piece of cinema meant to dig itself into the collective consciousness.

Taking on tensions that boil over between landowners and laborers, Jared’s lofty vision for his adaptation will push the cast and crew to the brink. As his plot advances, ego and deception reign.

Fillol’s rendition takes place in 1970s rural Argentina,...

Brandon ‘Frenchie’ French (‘Big Brother 23’) exit interview: ‘I came in strong but I came in with a purpose’
Image
Brandon “Frenchie” French‘s epic fall from power ended with his eviction on Thursday’s live episode of “Big Brother.” The 34-year old farmer from Tennessee was sent packing by an 11-to-1 vote over his Joker teammate Britini D’Angelo. After orchestrating one of the wildest Head of Household reigns in “Bb” history, Frenchie immediately paid for it when the current Hoh, Kyland Young, took the opportunity to send him out for air hugs with host Julie Chen Moonves.

“I came in strong but I came in with a purpose,” Frenchie asserted during his face-to-face chat with Julie. “My wife told me that if you want to make a change in the game you need to get off the couch and get in the house and go do it. I saw the type of people, like the old guy, always getting evicted first and I wanted to change that. I made...

‘Big Brother 23’ spoilers: Week 3 plans take shape as this eviction looks done
Image
The difference between Week 1 and Week 2 in the “Big Brother 23” house is like total whiplash, but after last week’s pandemonium, anything seems calm. Monday was another quiet day after Derek X. didn’t use the Veto as expected, keeping Frenchie and Britini on the block and officially numbering the former’s days.

Frenchie didn’t do any campaigning and continued to insist he won’t because he’s cool with going home to see his kids, which is a low-key form of campaigning. The most he did was vocalize that he hopes it won’t be a unanimous vote because he wants a pity vote. Derek F. volunteered to give him one, with Britini present. Britini claimed she doesn’t care, but since her nomination, she’s been aggressively cam-talking about how these people don’t know what they’re in for and she won’t take anything less...

‘Big Brother 23’ spoilers: Week 2 targets emerge as Frenchie formalizes one of his million Slaughterhouses
Image
Monday was the first day in the “Big Brother 23” house since Frenchie‘s first night as Hoh where things were relatively quiet. That’s partially because the Veto ceremony went down as expected: Derek X. saved Kyland, and despite trying to pull some funny business in the lead-up, Frenchie picked Travis as the renom as he had planned since Saturday.

Right now, Travis is likely to be the unlucky first eviction on Thursday as everyone seems onboard with booting him over Alyssa. Neither has started campaigning yet, so we’ll see, but the house wants to keep Alyssa more, and even though Frenchie is only nominally in power until Thursday, a Travis exit means he will have fulfilled his goal of evicting a meathead. He just took the craziest, most unnecessary route getting there.

See ‘Big Brother 23’ Week 1 Veto ceremony results

Frenchie, shockingly, was chill for most of the day post-Veto ceremony.

I remember seeing Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the middle of the 90s, almost two decades after it was released, and being blown away by it. It was dirty, gritty, harsh, violent, sadistic and raw. It was one of my first true forays into horror, and it stuck with me. It remains one of my favourite examples of the genre to this day. Since then there have been many films released that have attempted to replicate the tone of Hooper’s demented masterpiece. There have been homages, there have been rip-offs and there have been a whole range of sequels, prequels and remakes. Wrong Turn, Inbred, Slaughterhouse and so-on, and so-forth. New Freaky Trailer Delivers a Body-Swap Slaughterhouse on Friday the 13th
Image
Universal Pictures has now released an extended look at the upcoming horror-comedy Freaky starring Vince Vaughn and Kathryn Newton. This exclusive look, aptly titled "Slaughterhouse" gives us a good idea of the kind of blood-soaked hilarity that will ensue when the movie hits theaters on Friday the 13th of November.

Seventeen-year-old Millie Kessler is just trying to survive the bloodthirsty halls of Blissfield High and the cruelty of the popular crowd. But when she becomes the newest target of The Butcher (Vince Vaughn), her town's infamous serial killer, her senior year becomes the least of her worries.

When The Butcher's mystical ancient dagger causes him and Millie to wake up in each other's bodies, Millie learns that she has just 24 hours to get her body back before the switch...

Williams, Jason John Beebe, Olivia Baseman, Tom Dinardo, Serena Lorien, Amanda Mikhail | Written by Brandon Slagle, Robert Thompson | Directed by Brandon Slagle

Crossbreed is a low budget sci-fi/horror action film about a group of oversized ex-soldiers on a mission to retrieve an alien cargo from a group of eeeeeevil mercenaries. It’s a film where men are men; they have big guns, and all the usual cliches apply. It’s a homage to every sci-fi/horror bang-bang film from the 80’s and 90’s and references everything from Predator and Robocop to Split Second and Timecop.

Soldier-turned-bar owner “Boss” Ryker, (played by the humorously named Stink Fisher) is sent on one last mission to pull together a squad of space marines and retrieve a stolen alien from some baddies with dodgy accents.

“Curse” marks a new partnership between Filmax and Arcadia who teamed on Mateo Gil’s “Lazarus Project” and “Kilian Jornet: Path to Everest.” A scam-driven romantic comedy, its cast includes Gonzalo de Castro (Javier Ruiz Caldera’s “Superlopez”), Juan Grandinetti (Federico Godfrid’s “Pinamar”), Malena Alterio (TV series “Spanish Shame”), Cayetana Guillén Cuervo (Cesc Gay’s “A Gun in Each Hand”) and Ginés García Millán (TV series “Slaughterhouse”).

“This con-man romantic comedy is not only funny, its elegance is reminiscent of a Woody Allen film,...

Williams, Jason John Beebe, Olivia Baseman, Tom Dinardo, Serena Lorien, Amanda Mikhail | Written by Brandon Slagle, Robert Thompson | Directed by Brandon Slagle

Name: Crossbreed

Age: 2019

Appearance: Low budget sci-fi/horror bang-bang film about a group of oversized ex-soldiers on a mission to retrieve an alien cargo from a group of eeeeeevil mercenaries. It’s a film where men are men; they have big guns, and all the usual cliches apply.

Don’t cross the Crossbreed.

So, what am I watching here?

It’s a homage to every sci-fi/horror bang-bang film from the 80’s and 90’s and references everything from Predator, Robocop to Split Second and Timecop. Soldier-turned-bar owner “Boss” Ryker, (played by the humorously named Stink Fisher) is sent on one last mission to pull...

Eminem Is ‘Not Sure’ if He’ll Respond to Machine Gun Kelly Diss Track ‘Rap Devil’ (Video)
Eminem
Eminem is “not sure” if he’s going to respond to rapper Machine Gun Kelly’s diss track, “Rap Devil.”

“I’m not sure exactly what I’m gonna do at this point now,” the “Kamikaze” emcee told radio D.J. Sway in a sit-down interview on Slim Shady’s own YouTube page.

“Now I’m in this f—ing weird thing, because I’m like, ‘I gotta answer this motherf—er,'” Marshall Mathers said about what he interpreted to be repeated Mgk disses. “And every time I do that, it makes that person — as irrelevant as people say I am in hip-hop, I make them bigger by getting into this thing, where I’m like, I want to destroy him. But I also don’t want to make him bigger.'”

Simon Pegg & Nick Frost in First UK Trailer for 'Slaughterhouse Rulez'
"It's a gateway - and it leads straight, down, to hell." Sony Pictures UK has debuted the first full UK trailer for a horror comedy titled Slaughterhouse Rulez, the latest from director Crispian Mills (A Fantastic Fear of Everything). The film is also the latest featuring both Nick Frost and Simon Pegg, the duo best known from Edgar Wright's Cornetto trilogy. Slaughterhouse Rulez is about an illustrious British boarding school that becomes a bloody battleground when a mysterious sinkhole appears at a nearby fracking site unleashing unspeakable horror. It's going to be bloody. Starring Asa Butterfield, Finn Cole, Hermione Corfield, Michael Sheen, with Frost and Pegg. This reminds me a bit of Battle Royale, but packed with British humor and rich yuppies instead of crazy Japanese gore. Looks like fun. Prepare to get Slaughtered... Here's the first international trailer for Crispian Mills' Slaughterhouse Rulez, direct from YouTube: Welcome to Slaughterhouse,...

This Tuesday, Vinegar Syndrome is giving a high-def overhaul to another cult classic, Slaughterhouse, and for those who may have missed it during its successful festival run, Arrow Video is releasing We Are The Flesh on multiple formats, too.

‘Slaughterhouse’ Blu-ray Review (88 Films)
Stars: Joe B. Barton, Don Barrett, Sherry Leigh, Bill Brinsfield, Jason Collier, Dave Fogel, Jeff Grossi, Hank Gum, Linda Harris, Jane Higginson, Joel Hoffman, William Houck, Courtney Lercara, Tom Normand, Lee Robinson | Written and Directed by Rick Roessler

When it comes to the Eighties we tend to have rose-tinted glasses when it comes to horror. If a film makes lots of money and gains a fan base then it is more than likely that some cheap imitations will appear to try to make a profit off expectations. Slaughterhouse is a film that feels like it fits very much in this category, though on repeat viewings surprisingly becomes quite charming.

When Lester Bacon (Don Barrett) finds himself with the threat of eviction from his own slaughterhouse he plans to get revenge on the business men he believes are forcing him out of business. When he discovers his intellectually disabled son Buddy...

Is 1987 Slasher Film Slaughterhouse Coming to Blu-ray?
While many films prospered during the DVD era, the slasher subgenre is being treated with more love and respect in this Blu-ray age, and that suits me just fine! Case in point: The 1987 slasher flick Slaughterhouse will see an HD bow sometime next year.

We don't know who's releasing this little gem yet, but we were tipped off by a post on metal band Mortician's Facebook page:

So today I received a message from Rick Roessler, the producer and director of the cult classic film "Slaughterhouse," requesting the use of the Mortician song "Slaughterhouse" for inclusion in the ending credits of the Blu-ray release of the film. Where do I begin? Um... how fast can we say yes? Since that is a Relapse Records owned song, they will have to deal with them, but we of course said yes and hope it happens. Oh yeah and in case you didn't catch that.

It Came From 1980x: Silent Night Deadly Night 5: The Toymaker
It’s officially Christmas Eve. That means that it’s officially the scariest damn night of the year. You should be afraid, but I suppose if the apocalypse didn’t get you what’s an obese man trying to fit down a chimney with a child labor law violation or two gonna do to you? Welcome to It Came From 1980x. We’ve been following the “evolution” of the Silent Night Deadly Night series starting with a review of the first two movies re-released as a double feature by Anchor Bay and then moving on to the later three sequels that really have jack and shit to do with the rest of the series. That doesn’t mean that we dislike them although my personal preference on the third installment have been documented interwebz wide. This is the final entry in the franchise prior to the reboot/reimaging/remake that...

Slaughterhouse (1987): Movie Review
by Chris Wright, MoreHorror.com

Buddy has an ax to grind and he wants you to watch the mayhem! A long forgotten late 1980s slasher deserves some props for being a fairly entertaining “B” horror movie in a time when slashers became non-existent or really bad. I found this movie randomly in a thrift store for 50 cents. I found it on VHS from a company known as Charter Entertainment. This movie was barely released when it came out. The movie deserves some recognition due to its amusing villains alone. This movie is also known in some parts as “Bacon Bits.”

The plot is fairly simple. Lester Bacon’s slaughterhouse property is being foreclosed and he is really upset that the town officials are closing on it. Lester’s mentally inept son Buddy takes lives before this process but Lester decides killing these folks is a splendid idea for revenge. If...

Horror at the Oscars Part 1: The Quickening
It’s that time of year again, kids. Dread Central’s 2010 Horror at the Oscars coverage. Horror was indeed present this year and in black-tie. While Roger Corman and Lauren Bacall were honored a few months back at the Governor’s Award Ceremony, it was an unexpected delight to see Corman, recipient of the lifetime achievement Oscar, enjoy a standing ovation on national television.

I was, however, very disappointed that neither of them were allowed to speak. Roger Corman’s contributions to modern cinema are too vast for him to just stand up and wave. James Cameron was one of many Corman acolytes present, and his nomination speaks to Corman’s tremendous legacy. On the Terminator DVD Cameron mentions, "I trained at the Roger Corman Film School.” Jonathan Demme, Martin Scorsese, and Francis Ford Coppola, among many others, were also former students.

The terror continued with a spoof of Paranormal Activity...
