Les douze salopards 3 : Mission mortelle (1987)

Trivia

Les douze salopards 3 : Mission mortelle

Edit
Ernest Borgnine is the only actor from the original Les douze salopards (1967) movie to appear in all four original "Dirty Dozen" movies [See: Les douze salopards (1967) ; Les douze salopards 2: Nouvelle mission (1985) ; Les douze salopards 3 : Mission mortelle (1987) and Les Douze salopards 4 : Mission fatale (1988)]
Lee Marvin was too ill to reprise his role as Major Reisman.
The character of Major John Reisman played by Lee Marvin in Les douze salopards (1967) and Les douze salopards 2: Nouvelle mission (1985) does not appear in this movie nor in the next "Dirty Dozen" TV movie sequel, Les Douze salopards 4 : Mission fatale (1988). His character was replaced by the character of Major Wright for these two movies and is played by Telly Savalas. Savalas had appeared in the original Les douze salopards (1967) movie as Archer Maggott where his character was killed-off.
This is the only "Dirty Dozen" movie (i.e. of the original Les douze salopards (1967) movie and its three television tele-movie sequels) that doesn't have an African-American as one of the Dirty Dozen.
Bo Svenson once arrived thirty minutes late to shoot a scene, where more than fifty extras - women and children - were waiting for him in cold and rainy weather. There was an argument between Svenson and Paul Picerni, and Svenson told that he was in the make up room. Picerni replied that there was no need for a make up for a war film.
