Just when you thought it was safe to put down your controller, Treyarch has decided to tease what might be the most anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies map yet. The developer dropped a cryptic image yesterday that sent players into a frenzy faster than a horde of sprinters on round 30.
Mansion hunting, Zombies style. | Image Credit: Activision
The teaser shows what appears to be Edward Richtofen’s mansion from Liberty Falls, now looking like it hosted the world’s most destructive house party. Vehicles are overturned, windows are shattered, and there’s fire everywhere.
But it’s not just what we’re seeing that has players excited—it’s what we won’t be seeing when the map drops. And this particular absence might just help a lot of high-round players sleep better at night.

The body count on The Walking Dead is high through its 11-season run. In fact, the show was among the first to shockingly kill off main characters, leaving fans (and actors) aware that anyone could die at any minute.
Every person on the show is responsible for numerous walker deaths, and almost everyone at least one human death. But no one was as fierce nor had as high a body count as the show’s protagonist, Rick Grimes, who holds the record for the most human kills on the show. Yes, that even includes Negan, at least when it comes to on-screen kills, and primary and tertiary antagonists.
Rick Is Responsible for Taking Out the Most Primary Antagonists

The Walking Dead introduced us to many captivating kinds of sanctuaries and methods of survival, but none are quite as memorable — yet disappointing — as Terminus. Spanning across the last few episodes of Season 4 and the first couple of Season 5, the idea of Terminus is far more impressive than the actual community itself. Terminus is the franchise's first cannibal group with a vaguely intriguing backstory that had far more potential than what was delivered. With so much anticipation built up during the separated groups' long travels, coupled with the enduring thematic and narrative impact the community made on the show, Terminus' quick downfall and stunted screen time was certainly a missed opportunity for The Walking Dead.

This The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live review contains spoilers.
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live Episode 2
Things have come a long way since The Walking Dead wasn’t allowed to drop the f-word at a climactic moment during Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and company’s confinement in a boxcar by the people of Terminus.
Now it seems like every episode features the kind of language that made NYPD Blue one of the most notorious shows on television, albeit without the nudity. Tongues are freer now, and standards have changed now that AMC is competing with prestige dramas on HBO and Showtime, not network television. Certainly, it’s fitting for a gritty show like The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live to indulge in language, because these are people who have survived a decade-plus of life after the end of the world. Shrinking violets need not apply; given that...

Scott M. Gimple thinks The Walking Dead could have used more F-bombs. The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live spin-off reunites Rick Grimes with his wife, Michonne. Andrew Lincoln returns, setting the stage for a fresh and bold storyline different from the original series.
Negan knew how to drop the ole F-word with real panache. After Jeffrey Dean Morgan showed up to portray the skull-crushing, barbed wire bat-wielding Negan in the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead, the F-bombs started dropping with a lot more regularity. But according to The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live showrunner Scott M. Gimple, AMC's mothership series could have done with some more "f—ing" language. Gimple cited Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his group's encounter with the cannibals of Terminus in particular. Gimple said in an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com:

Batman's strategic thinking proves invaluable as he helps bring down an Avengers villain without lifting a finger. Batman's skills as an inventor, detective, and tactician make him an essential member of the Justice League. Despite being just a human, Batman's brilliance and resourcefulness make him a crucial asset in taking on powerful adversaries.
The Justice League often goes up against the most powerful villains that DC has to offer, so some fans have questioned just how much use Batman — a non-powered human — could be against literal Gods and demons. Batman demonstrates exactly why the team needs him when he helps take down a classic Avengers villain without even lifting a finger.
During the events of the Jla/Avengers miniseries by Kurt Busiek, George Perez, Tom Smith, and Comicraft, the Marvel and DC Universes are switched around. Characters that usually appear in Marvel's universe suddenly appear in DC's and vice versa.

In Jla/Avengers #1, Scarlet Witch used her chaos magic to defeat Starro, a powerful DC villain who mind-controls others. Starro, a being of order and unity, was disrupted by Scarlet Witch's chaos magic, and fled Earth as a result of her intrusion into its hive-mind. Scarlet Witch showcased why she is the strongest member of the Avengers, taking down Starro with her powers.
There are tons of absurdly powerful villains in the Marvel Universe that the Avengers have fought and defeated, but they were completely unprepared to go up against DC's Starro the Conqueror. This classic DC villain very nearly took over the Earth, and was only stopped by the Scarlet Witch. When it all looked hopeless for Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Scarlet Witch was able to save the day with a "sheer blast of madness."

The following contains spoilers for Foundation Season 2, Episode 3 "King and Commoner," which is streaming now on Apple TV+.
Foundation Season 1 showed Hari Seldon's dream, the Foundation, surviving the First Crisis. Yet, the Foundation had people like Salvor Hardin to guide them and help them succeed. They also did not have the eye of the Empire on them. Now as Brother Day has realized that the threat of Hari Seldon still exists, the Empire has set their armies on the Foundation. The settlers of Terminus have no Salvor and almost no guidance from Seldon. Yet, the new Imperial threat may quickly become a useful ally.
Bel Riose was a dedicated general in the Imperial military. He served under Brother Day's direction and that is what was wrong. Riose believed that Brother Day's strategy was wrong, and so he defied the order of Empire and won the battle. Despite winning, Brother Day punished him severely.

One of the biggest and boldest television series currently on the air is Foundation, based on the science fiction novels by author Isaac Asimov. The series' second season is currently airing on Apple TV+, with the interstellar intrigue and bloody conflict escalating to new heights to determine humanity’s fate in the galaxy. Among the figures caught in the middle of the war is Poly Verisof, who barely survived the events of the first season and now stands as a religious leader in the midst of the shifting status quo after the mysterious Vault is opened on Terminus.
In an interview with Cbr conducted before the SAG-AFTRA strike, Foundation star Kulvinder Ghir shared how he approached playing an older version of Poly than audiences last saw, reveled in bringing more joy and humor to the sci-fi series, and teased what fans can expect from the new season.

The Legendary Machine Gun known as The Swarm in Destiny 2 is a classic weapon and has been available in Bungie’s online shooter for quite a while. A solid choice for PvE activities, but not so much for PvP matches, The Swarm has decent stats and a good combination of perks that make up its God Roll. This is especially true when considering The Swarm (Adept), its improved version, which requires a bit more effort to claim.
Nevertheless, it is worthwhile using, in both of its forms. Destiny 2’s The Swarm and The Swarm (Adept) are good weapons in the category they occupy. Granted that Machine Guns are not among the most popular choices in the game, with the exceptions being gear like Destiny 2’s Xenophage Machine Gun and Grand Overture, but recent buffs have made these weapons viable again and, with it, The Swarm becomes a usable option. Players must obtain the weapon first,...

The following contains spoilers for Foundation Season 2, Episode 1, "In Seldon's Shadow," which premiered July 14 on Apple TV+.
When Foundation Season 2 announced a 138-year time-jump, fans were most intrigued. Most of the story has already veered away from Isaac Asimov's books, with this angle advancing the war to come between the Cleon Empire and the Foundation rebels. Interestingly, showrunner David S. Goyer has quickly introduced a sinister caveat into Brother Day's reign on Trantor.
Of course, Day wants to ensure no rebel or terrorist faction can break his kingdom. But he's not doing so by conventional means. As a result, the other Cleons (as in the younger Brother Dawn and the elder Brother Dusk) think Day is becoming a problem by avoiding tradition. In the process, at a time Day should be shoring up his inner-circle, he's making questionable decisions that are destabilizing Empire.

Doctor Who has once again hinted at a romantic relationship between 1980s companions Tegan (Janet Fielding) and Nyssa (Sarah Sutton), potentially reversing a possible retcon from the Jodie Whittaker era. Russell T Davies' special webisode, "Farewell, Sarah Jane" was designed to say goodbye to the character of Sarah Jane Smith and pay tribute to actress Elisabeth Sladen, featuring many returning companions. The short revealed that Tegan and Nyssa had entered into a romantic relationship at some later point after leaving the Tardis. It's unclear how this was possible, given that Nyssa had been left on the space station Terminus in the far future, while Tegan left the Tardis in 1980s London.
Regardless of this complication, Doctor Who fans were perturbed when this surprise romance wasn't acknowledged when Tegan returned in "The Power of the Doctor" opposite Jodie Whittaker. She revealed that she'd "seen off two ex-husbands" but didn't mention Nyssa.

Doctor Who has revealed the return of a classic series villain, 40 years after their last appearance, potentially setting up a story in season 14. Although the 60th anniversary specials aren't due to air until November, a brand new Doctor Who webisode, "The Passenger" written by Pete McTighe, has been released online. Apparently set after the events of "The Power of the Doctor", the mini episode reunites Tegan (Janet Fielding) and Nyssa (Sarah Sutton) after a mysterious summons brings her to a creepy fairground and a familiar looking blue box.
Doctor Who webisode "The Passenger" has been released to announce the addition of season 20 to the Doctor Who: The Collection Bluray range later in 2023. The season features a remastered version of Doctor Who's 20th anniversary special "The Five Doctors" as well as the undisputed high-point of the season - "Snakedance". Foundation season 2 starts out with a 138-year time jump, leaving a number of questions about the events that occurred in between. Based on the classic sci-fi novel by Isaac Asimov, it's no surprise that such massive leaps in time are taking place. The original novel is composed of five short stories, each of which covers an essential moment in the development of the Foundation on Terminus. In the novel, almost every story follows a different character, as decades separate each event. Luckily, Apple TV's adaptation has found clever ways to hold on to a continuous cast of characters through generations of time.
Kicking off after the 138-year jump, the events of Foundation season 1 have rippled through time, casting a major effect on the galaxy. The second Seldon crisis is about to occur, and tension has begun to build up between the Foundation and the Empire. This takes ideas about the...

The marketing material for Foundation season 2 makes no attempt to hide the fact that the show is in store for a big time jump. While this would be a major twist for many other TV shows, for Foundation‘s eons-spanning narrative it’s pretty standard. Not only did season 1 feature multiple time jumps, but the final moments of its finale actually bring viewers up to roughly 138 years in the future when season 2 is set to begin. That just happens to be the amount of time it takes for both Salvor Hardin (Leah Harvey) and Gaal Dornick (Lou Llobell) to reach Gaal’s native planet Synnax.
While roughly no time has passed for atypical mother-daughter duo Gaal and Salvor thanks to the intricacies of suspended animation and interstellar travel, what happened to the rest of the galaxy?

Warning: This article contains Spoilers for Foundation season 2, episode 1.Hari Seldon is back in Foundation season 2, episode 1, although the actual Hari Seldon is dead. Foundation season 2, episode 1, “In Seldon’s Shadow” opened with Seldon in a strange plane of existence where nothing seemed to make sense. In this mysterious plane, Seldon interacted with Yanna Seldon, whom he described as his “lifemate.” Seldon also interacted with Kalle, the mathematician behind the Ninth Proof of Folding addressed in Foundation season 1, episode 1.
What Hari Seldon experienced, however, was not a form of afterlife or anything that could retcon his death. This version of Hari Seldon was inside a four-dimensional space, although he had to perceive it as a three-dimensional space for it to make sense. Why Seldon was inside the Prime Radiant has to do with his long-term plans for what would happen after his death in Foundation season 1.

Tegan Jovanka (Janet Fielding) has a surprising long-awaited reunion with fellow Doctor Who companion Nyssa (Sarah Sutton) along with an old foe in a new short webisode to celebrate the re-release of the classic series' season 20. Fielding and Sutton first joined the long-running sci-fi series in 1981 during the era of Tom Baker's Fourth Doctor, remaining on the Tardis into Fifth Doctor Peter Davison's tenure until 1983 and 1984 respectively. While Sutton has yet to return to the main series, Fielding reprised the role of Tegan alongside Jodie Whittaker's Fifteenth Doctor in 2022's "The Power of the Doctor".

Apple TV+’s Foundation season 1 dealt with several characters and locations that will be of extreme importance in Foundation season 2. Adapting Isaac Asimov’s Foundation book series into a TV show was a difficult task, but Foundation season 1 succeeded at it. Of course, there are several major differences between the Foundation show and the Foundation novels, from characters to the timeline. Still, the core events of the first two Foundation short stories, as well as bits from the Foundation prequels, set the narrative for Foundation season 1.
Foundation season 1 had 10 episodes and spanned hundreds of years, yet it really covered two of the five short stories that make for the first Foundation novel. Foundation season 1 was told mostly from Gaal Dornick (Lou Llobel)’s perspective, with the character having a much bigger role on the show than in the original book. Victors write histories, while visionaries shape the future. The renowned science-fiction writer Isaac Asimov’s magnum opus, the millennia-spanning cosmic epic that is known as the “Foundation Saga,” delineates this aspect by weaving an intricate tale that encompasses a world-building of galactic scale across several timelines, peppered with adventure, sociopolitical intrigue, and religious intrigue. Released as a volume in 1951, the scope and scale of Foundation were so grand that it later went on to inspire iconic space epics like Dune, Star Wars, and many others.
Apple TV+’s series adaptation of the same name as the original Foundation saga released its first season in 2021, which, with its minor alteration in storytelling by adapting significant real-world allusions, has garnered praise from audiences and critics alike. The epic scale of the source material has been duly respected in the series with its sprawling cosmic landscape, character designs, scores, and the ambitiousness of the script.

The Walking Dead is a show with no shortage of shocking, sickening moments. From characters disemboweling zombies and wearing their guts as camouflage to charismatic villains viciously murdering people with baseball bats, there have been plenty of scenes on Twd that left us watching through our fingers and occasionally gagging into our popcorn. However, one moment stands out as perhaps the show’s gnarliest. No, it isn't when Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) bashed Glenn's (Steven Yeun) skull in with a bat, the neck-slicing trough at Terminus, or the moment we realized The Governor (David Morrissey) was keeping his reanimated daughter alive. This moment we are talking about occurs in the Season 4 finale, and it involves teeth.

Ingeon Games’ turn-based survival game Terminus: Zombie Survivors is still creeping towards that Early Access exit thanks to the latest update, which will arrive for later this week. Arriving June 2, the V0.9.8 “Fuel & Faith Update” builds off of last year’s “Evolution Update”, adding a new car fuel system, expanded locations, a new Pastor occupation for character roles, a food preservation function, an enhanced inventory system, and new sandbox options.
The introduction of a fuel system to Terminus will require players to manage their car’s fuel, which as you’d expect, is a crucial resource for survival. Players will need to strategize their exploration and movement to ensure they don’t run out of fuel at a critical moment. Thankfully, the inclusion of three new locations—Gas Station, Clothing Store, and Church—offer new resources and strategic opportunities. Each location presents unique challenges and rewards, expanding the strategic options available to the player.

The world of Snowpiercer is a nightmarish post-apocalyptic scenario in which humanity survives a new ice age by huddling into a massive train and traveling the endless tracks of a frozen world. The sequels to the original French Snowpiercer comic reveal that there is actually more than one train carrying the remnants of humanity, and their true purpose is rather sinister.
Perhaps best known to most audiences as an acclaimed 2013 film from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Bong Joon-ho and a recent television series starring Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs, those works are actually adaptations of a long-running series of French graphic novels. The first Snowpiercer graphic novel was released in 1982 from writer Jacques Lob and artist Jean-Marc Rochette. It didn’t receive a sequel until 1999, and two additional volumes followed in 2000 and 2015 that completed the story. In addition, there have also been prequel comics to fill in the details of Snowpiercer's world.

Despite being a show that lasted 11 seasons, The Walking Dead only had one good love story. As a series that explored the lives of well over a dozen survivors in a zombie apocalypse over a long period of time, romance was bound to prop up among some of the characters. And over time, numerous relationships, both romantic and platonic in nature, formed and collapsed as the series progressed.
With zombies and other threats constantly putting their lives in danger, there wasn’t always room for romance, with characters like Daryl spending the majority of their time in the series dealing with more pressing matters. This was also true for Rick, who went a few seasons without a love interest after Lori died. But, at some point or another, The Walking Dead wound up giving nearly every major character on the show – even Daryl and Negan – a romantic storyline before concluding.

Departure Day: When it comes to TV, is closure important?
If you happen to follow a decent number of TV critics on Twitter, you may have noticed a minor eruption of late. A schism has emerged, prompted by accounts like The Cancellation Bear, which concerns itself solely with the topic of whether or not series are likely to survive based on current ratings patterns. That may sound perfectly innocent on its own, but quite a few admirers have expressed the notion that they refuse to dive into a series if they get the sense that it will come to a premature end, thereby robbing them of closure. This idea has, naturally, left many critics incensed: isn’t TV a medium founded on chaos, on the thrill of working within limitations and at the whims of fickle audiences? Moreover, isn’t it silly to always want tidy resolution in the context...
