Otoko wa tsurai yo: Shibamata yori ai wo komete

Liked this one quite a bit

Proves that once again, I tend to most enjoy the entries where Tora is in love with a new woman, even though those are arguably the most formulaic by this point, 36 entries in.

It helps that the Madonna this time round is really good, and her chemistry with Tora is above average. Also love the President's daughter getting a large role in this one (the brief hot spring scene was surprising for this usually very tame series!)

Only problem is the thing that drives Tora and his new love apart comes out of nowhere, really only being addressed quite abruptly in the last 25 minutes. It's not a huge issue, but it does make the final act a little weaker than the first two.

Also: the President's continued enthusiasm towards Tora finding someone will never not be hilarious and sweet.
