‘Pulse’ Bosses Break Down Danny and Xander’s Finale Apology and the Changes Ahead in Potential Season 2
Image
Note: This story contains spoilers from “Pulse” Episode 10.

“Pulse” may have kicked off with a big focus on the complicated romance between Danny Simms and Xander Phillips, and by the end of Season 1 the messiness between them seemed to fade into the background thanks to a long-awaited apology and an admission of guilt.

After Danny (Willa Fitzgerald) rescinded her sexual harassment claim against her ex, her future at the hospital remained under threat by Xander’s (Colin Woodell) influential parents, who hoped to get her out of their son’s way. When Danny confronted the disgruntled parent of a patient of her sister Harper’s (Jessy Yates), Natalie Cruz (Justina Machado) told Danny that she now had cause to fire her from the residency program.

Natalie faced pressure of her own: either fire Danny or give up control of the hospital’s emergency room. In the end she chose her pupil,...

Bill Murray Says ‘SNL’ Is Harder for Newcomers Today Than When He Was On: ‘You Don’t Get Enough Playing Time’ | Video
Image
Actor and former “Saturday Night Live” star Bill Murray said performing on the famous sketch comedy show is very different and more difficult for talent today than when he was on the program 49 seasons ago, saying screen time is limited now and everyone is vying for their moment to shine.

“People talk about ‘Saturday Night Live,’ and I still hear people say, ‘Oh, the only good time was the first group.’ And I say, ‘Well, that’s not true,” Murray said while on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” Tuesday. “The first group was the most exciting group because it was brand new. But there’s a learning curve that goes with doing the show, and it takes you about a year or even more to learn how to do it.”

The comedian went on to tell Meyers, who is also an “SNL” alum, that not only do you have to...

Andy Cohen Apologizes For Calling Heidi Montag Trash; Spencer Pratt Says That’s Not …
Image
Reading Time: 3 minutes

Back in 2011, Andy Cohen referred to Heidi Montag as “trash” during an episode of Watch What Happens Live.

It was an uncharacteristically cruel remark from Cohen, and he’s since apologized for it several times.

Most recently, Andy expressed his remorse during Wednesday’s episode of his SiriusXM radio show.

But it seems that that wasn’t good enough for Spencer, who’s seen a sudden resurgence in popularity in recent weeks.

Spencer and Heidi Are Back In the News

After rising to fame on MTV series The Hills in ’00s, Heidi and Spencer became infamous representatives of the sort of low-rent reality TV of that era.

This was not entirely their fault (more on that later), but they did seem to relish the role at times.

Meghan McCain
Meghan McCain Boasts About Extensive Search for Her ‘The View’ Replacements: ‘It Took a Year and 2 People’ (Video)
Meghan McCain
Meghan McCain got a bit of an ego boost from the search to find a permanent replacement for her empty seat at “The View.” The former host said this week that she was pretty pleased with how long it took to find a conservative voice to add to the table full time.

McCain left “The View” in August 2021, at the end of the show’s 24th season. For the entirety of season 25, the show had a revolving door of guest hosts, effectively auditioning them in real time. There were a few names that popped in to guest host multiple times, including Michele Tafoya, Tara Setmayer and others. But in the end, the full time slot went to former Trump communications director Alyssa Farah Griffin, as well as Ana Navarro.

In an interview with SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen this week, McCain boasted about the fact that she was replaced by two people,...

Chris Rock at an event for Madagascar 3 : Bons baisers d'Europe (2012)
Chris Rock Says He Turned Down Invite to Host 2023 Oscars After Will Smith Slap
Chris Rock at an event for Madagascar 3 : Bons baisers d'Europe (2012)
Chris Rock told a crowd in Phoenix on Sunday that he was asked to host the Oscars ceremony for next year after he infamously was slapped by Will Smith during the show, but that he turned the invitation down.

Rock joked during his stand-up set, according to the Arizona Republic, that returning to the Oscars stage would be like returning to the scene of a crime. And he made a reference to the Oj Simpson murder trial, saying that it would be like asking Nicole Brown Simpson “to go back to the restaurant.”

Rock also said he has since been offered the chance to appear in a Super Bowl commercial but also turned down that request.

A representative for the Film Academy did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

‘The View': Joy Behar Says Conservatives Will ‘Turn This Country Into Hungary and North Korea’ If They Get Their Way (Video)
Joy Behar
Joy Behar is pretty concerned about the issues conservatives are choosing to run on in this election cycle. On Monday’s episode of “The View,” she argued that their focus on LGBTQ+ rights and abortion rights will turn the country into a hostile nation if they succeed.

Of course, Behar also argued that conservatives might be overplaying their hand.

“They always say that the Democrats shoot themselves in the foot, but now it looks like the Republicans are doing that to themselves,” she argued. In her view, conservatives are taking their attention away from the “kitchen table issues” that the GOP is always touting, and focusing on bigger — harder — topics.

According to the band’s official description on Youtube, the viewing experience will look significantly better if the video’s resolution setting in at 1440p or 2160p. The group does not recommend leaving the clip on “Auto HD,” as it will result in distortion during a few scenes.
