The character of reporter Hector Ramirez would appear in various TV shows made by Sunbow Productions. Besides appearing in Jem, he appeared in episodes of G.I. Joe (1985), InHumanoids (1986) and Transformers (1984).

Goofs
In the episode "In search of the stolen album", Jem and the Holograms get a ransom note. The first line quite obviously reads "In search of good times," but the girls read out loud and then repeat "In search of good tunes."

Jem is such a classic and always will be! Although it is a children's cartoon there is something in this show for everyone, brilliant 80s music and classic story lines really are worth a watch.

If you ever get the chance to see it you won't regret it! It's a shame you can't get the videos any more (well you can't in England!) as they are brilliant! *****
