I enjoyed this film, because it is about Italian Americans. A possible remake of Truffaut's film no doubt. Susan Lucci is good in this film. An unpretentious film, well performed and honest.
I believe that my scene as the altar boy in the wedding should've have been nominated for an academy award. Lol!
The Bride in Black has always been a favorite of mine. Yes, its plot is a little convoluted, but I have always been a huge fan of Susan Lucci. She is a wonderful actress. And she looks a lot like one of my aunts. While this movie isn't fantastic, it is very good, especially if you like movies about Italians, which I definitely do. The best part for me, though, is that Lucci's character uses the name of "Terri Lauria" as a cover name when she start snooping around. That's my name! I have not seen it in many years, look for it online from time to time, so I can watch it again, but have had no luck so far. I'll keep checking because for me it is surely worth another look.
