Two cops ( Andy Lau and Alex Mann) are partnered together and decide to protect two beautiful women ( Sandra No and Elvina Kong) who are actually rivals--one, a woman released from prison, the other, an actress who's been targeted for rape--while in search of escaped murderous convicts.

Andy Lau and Alex Man share a good chemistry in this average buddy cop actioner. It has some good intense action scenes, especially in the Die Hard-like finale, and Sandra Ng and Alex Man offer some comedy, but the comedy can wear thin. They seem to make a lot of verbal noise which can get tiring. But it's not abysmal- it's watchable enough, but nothing to shout about,

Great HK action flick with drama and humor.

A fast-paced and unpredictable action flick from Hong Kong, featuring a line of A-list actors including Andy Lau, Alex Man, Sandra Ng, Rosamund Kwan, Alvina Kong and Cheung Kwok-Keung. Good stuff here with action mixed in with drama, thrills and humor, especially courtesy of Sandra Ng. You can also count on some comic relief from her in an otherwise intense action flick.
