‘Beyond The Gates’ Spoilers: Is Dani An Alcoholic? Her Obsession With Bill Is Making Her Lose Control
Image
‘Beyond the Gates’ (Btg) spoilers suggest that Dani Dupree (Karla Mosely) may be an alcoholic. She has been hitting the bottle hard since Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) married Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings).

‘Beyond The Gates’ Spoilers: Dani Was Cruelly Betrayed By Bill

Dani’s ex-husband married her daughter’s best friend and is now living in Fairmont Crest so we can completely understand Dani’s pain.

Dani, who was Bill’s wife for 35 years, also gave up her successful modeling career when she was nineteen to marry Bill and have kids, and this is the thanks she gets.

Bill also cheated on Dani several times throughout their marriage, while Dani looked the other way. She never expected him to fall in love with someone else, though.

Adding to the sting of the wounds inflicted on Dani, she is forced to see Bill and Hayley constantly flaunting their relationship in Dani’s face.

Westworld (2016)
‘Westworld’ Episode 7 Photos: Dolores and William Journey Into Treacherous Terrain
Westworld (2016)
“Westworld” keeps surprising viewers with new twists and turns. Last week’s episode finally introduced audiences to Tessa Thompson’s character, Charlotte, the Delos board representative who has plans of her own on how to oversee certain transitions. Maeve (Thandie Newton) also got some new adjustments to her personality and at the end of the episode, we were all left wondering what happened to Elsie (Shannon Woodward).

Sunday’s episode, titled “Trompe L’Oeil,” will hopefully give us more insight on all these new developments. While we wait for the latest episode, HBO released new images to keep us guessing.

Westworld (2016)
‘Westworld’: Why We Need to Stop Obsessing About Fan Theories
Westworld (2016)
There’s no denying that HBO’s new fall drama “Westworld” has hooked its way into the imagination of audiences — likely much to the relief of HBO, as it prepares for the eventual end of “Game of Thrones.”

However, we’ve got to talk about “Westworld’s” fan theories. Before they bury the show.

Read More: ‘Westworld’ Review: ‘Contrapasso’ Searches for Purpose in Between the Orgies

When you look at the way these new fans are reacting to the series, the major comparison being drawn isn’t to David Benioff and D.B. Weiss’s epic fantasy drama. Instead, it’s to “Westworld” executive producer J.J. Abrams’ previous iconic drama, “Lost.”

Like “Lost,” “Westworld” viewers have been sucked into trying to decode every last secret to what might really be going on inside this theme park of the future. Which makes sense. From the beginning, showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy...

“It’s Halloween. All bets are off.”

Agent Booth, that might just be the understatement of the year.

Fox has released a trailer for its upcoming Bones/Sleepy Hollow crossover event (airing Thursday, Oct. 29, at 8/7c), and one thing is clear: Booth, Brennan, Abbie and Ichabod have serious communication issues.

The two-hour event finds the foursome collaborating as the discovery of human remains leads to the return of one of Crane’s enemies. But, as the trailer above indicates, solving this particular case won’t be a smooth operation.

The Last Ship Season 2 Premiere Recap: Guns N' Doses
Eric Dane in The Last Ship (2014)
I was rather hesitant to cue up my screener for The Last Ship‘s two-hour Season 2 premiere (and to do so, I even scrapped plans to run down the street to catch Inside Out, grrr), given how the TNT drama’s freshman run ended.

RelatedTNT’s Proof: Is There Life After… the Premiere?

As Season 1 closed, I was surprised to see the Nathan James get safely to port so soon into the series, and I frankly dreaded the idea of the show becoming land-locked as our Navy heroes butt heads with some misguided, headstrong, armed-to-the-teeth ersatz government based out of Baltimore.

Jimmy Kimmel in Jimmy Kimmel Live! (2003)
Just ahead of Mother’s Day on Sunday, Jimmy Kimmel’s street team confronted children walking around Hollywood Blvd. with their parents and made them choose: “Who do you love more? Your mom or your dad?” The answer came quick and easy to most kids surveyed. “My mommy!” one little boy exclaimed, while others resorted to simply pointing to the woman who birthed them. Looking back at Terry Gilliam's The Fisher King
In 1991, director Terry Gilliam turned from grand spectacle to moving drama with The Fisher King. Andrew looks back at a well-acted, visually stunning movie…

Effects-laden visual feasts of the imagination are all very well and brilliant, but they are also, apparently, a total hassle to make. Coupled with the levels of studio interference, hostility, and arguments that ensued, Terry Gilliam found himself in the position of just wanting to make something relatively simple. Hence The Fisher King, released in 1991. A budget of $24 million returned a box office of roughly $42 million; it was as critically acclaimed as ever, but a very different beast from the director's previous films.

Written by Richard Lagravenese (writer of Cuaron's A Little Princess, Eastwood's The Bridges Of Madison County, and, sadly, writer and director of two-hour guff fest Ps. I Love You), The Fisher King is a very 90s (fashion, music, yuppie culture, Jeff Bridges'...
