Les Bannis de Gor (1988)

Trivia

Les Bannis de Gor

Edit
The main character's name "Cabot" is spoken more than fifty-five times in the opening 10 minutes alone. Thirty-five of those times are spoken by his "friend" Watney Smith.
Filmed concurrently with its predecessor, Gor (1987).
Rebecca Ferratti was Playboy Playmate of the Month in the June 1986 issue. The magazine saw her in production photos from the first Gor (1987) movie and asked her to pose. She almost refused but needed the money and a boost to her career. She said the first time she stripped naked for the male photographer, she was terrified. But she got used to it quickly and it was easier from that point on.
This movie was riffed in Outlaw of Gor (1993).
The final scene is shot in South Africa. If you look at the cars they have the distinctive 'T' at the end of the license plates, indicating Transvaal (now Gauteng) Province. This places the filming somewhere in Johannesburg.
