The masterpiece of the bolivian cinema

Jorge Sanjinés probably the most awarded bolivian filmmaker directed this hidden treasure of the Latin American cinema. With a great script and a avant-garde time-lime setting the film is a masterpiece. Settled in the andean region the story of a aymara man that wants to reconnect with his tradition even in a political unstable situation. With a film like Clandestine Nation someone can asked about the idea of what means an independent film because no longer this is a low budget film with amateur actors this film as well as the other films of Sanjinés are deeply involve with the cause of the defense the indigenous identity of Bolivia. Even Sanjinés is openly ant-imperialist in reference to the U.S. politics abroad the film also reflect the idea of left-wing can't understand the indigenous population. Clandestine Nation is a tale about the conviction of the andean people to fight for their identity.
