Trivia
Felissa Rose was asked to return as Angela Baker and she did a reading, but didn't quite click with the comedic one-liners that Angela delivered in the sequels. She was also preparing to attend college at the time.

Goofs
In the two scenes panning around the cabin filled with Angela's victims, 10 bodies are seen. Yet at this point, Angela has only killed 9 people--Phoebe, Jodi, Brooke, Mare, Anthony, Judd, Ally, Demi and Lea.

Alternate versions
The 1988 UK video received 2 minutes 16 secs of BBFC cuts with heavy edits to the stabbing and drowning of Ally in a cabin toilet, Phoebe's tongue being cut off, and a closeup of a knife in Diane's stomach. The cuts were restored in the 2004 Anchor Bay DVD.

I usually hate when a sequel explains what happened in the original but this movie needed it and thankfully they did it. Once again there is basically no plot and the acting is not so good. This time they don't go for the over the top screaming, which is definitely a good thing. The ways the people get killed are much better than in the original, although this time lots of dead people continue to breath or move their eyes. I'm sure other reviews on here say it sucks but it's just as good as the original, just different. Give it a chance.
