Burt Reynolds was less than thrilled to be working on this film. He went on to say that by that stage of his career, he took whatever roles that came his way.

Because the crew was Italian mostly, they knew the movie was going to be dubbed in different languages. As such, they were not careful about being quiet, which had gotten Burt Reynolds very upset during filming.
